The property was nicely furnished. Routine cleaning was very good- no dust on any ornaments, surfaces clean and linens fresh. Kitchen appliances were worn but in good working order; same for the carpet on the stairs. However, routine maintenance was poor. The slated cover for the HVAC filter was black with dust and debris. The locks on sliding doors did not engage, which would have been a problem if we had had young children with us. There was what appeared to be a blood stain on one mattress cover and box spring. The curtain rod in one bathroom was rusted along it's entire length (a purely aesthetic issue, but striking) . Finally, the attachment of the kitchen faucet to the counter was loose so the faucet tilted and rotated when you used the water control lever. Sometimes we could not get the water to turn off. On the 2nd day, we contacted the host about this and they sent maintenance to check it out. Maintenance's response was, "Can you live with this?" They did fix some incidental issues on that visit (ex. replaced a burned out light bulb) but the faucet was never fixed.

Nice area

Very nice area and felt like a very safe place. Overall was satisfied with the stay. It's in a great location with lots of stuff to do close by.

Great stay! For my little family’s first vacation together!

This place was great all around it was clean had great access to everything! Definitely coming back to stay in the neighborhood! Only problem we had was with the washer, but the owner refunded me some money to go to the Landry mat. We had just a blast every night honestly it went by to fast wish we could’ve stayed longer!! Now for the only kicker we pulled up and seen golf carts everywhere and thought we had one as well, but that wasn’t the case which isn’t a big deal, just in the future it would be cool to see it say yes we have one or no we don’t have one. Totally worth it see you next time Sandestin!!

Good property in a nice location

Our group thoroughly enjoyed this property! It was well appointed and centrally located in Baytown Wharf, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, bike trails and fishing nearby. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway for our group of four adults and three teenagers.
