Several clicks away to being good

Old property lacking updates where needed. For the cost, terrible conditions with barely any towels, old beds, pillows. Not much to appreciate other than beautiful views.

Amazing view!

By far the best part is the amazing mountain view! Besides that it is very clean, appliances new and all working, beds comfortable, directions for arrival and departure all laid out and clearly understandable.

Good weekend stay

Home has great Mountain View’s, and a nice living area. Master shower was a little dirty on arrival and guest bathroom door was beginning to come off the hinges, making it extremely difficult to open/close. Otherwise great spot for a mountain weekend.

Not as nice as we hoped

The location was great for sugar mountain but the condo left a lot to be desired. The bed in the master was so uncomfortable, lumpy and hard, felt like it was very old. The guest bathroom door was broken off the hinge preventing it from closing, we notified as soon as we got into the unit. Communication with vacasa with odd and they didn’t address the issues except for telling us they would take note of it. The unit was very bare bones. We were only there for one night. I would not have stayed for additional nights.

Highly recommend

We have stayed at this property multiple times, and it is a wonderful place. Amazing views, very spacious, everything you need is provided, excellent location so close to Beach Mountain, Sugar, Mountain, grandfather mountain, Highlands we can’t wait to stay here again.! oh, did I mention the views are to die for.

Lovely huge balcony with massive view

We loved everything about this condo. The views were incredible. The balcony off the living room and master bedroom was our most favorite part of the condo. We spent lots of time reading and just sitting on the balcony. Perfect location to access lots of hiking and waterfalls beyond Sugar Mountain. Very spacious, great fully stocked kitchen, and we appreciated the washer and dryer with complimentary detergent. Quiet & peaceful, could hear the birds from the balcony. Owner above has a hummingbird feeder so we saw lots of hummingbirds. Many people come for the skiing, but I think June is an amazing time to come. Less crowded, lush, green, and flowers blooming.

Broken Refrigerator lost all food and NO RESPONSE

We recently stayed in this unit atop Sugar Mountain. Beautiful condo, Beautiful Views, Great price. However the refrigerator in our unit was not working. We purchased all the food we needed for the stay on the way in before check-in. It was cold out and the room was cold so really didn’t think anything of it when we piled the groceries into the freezer & Fridge. Well when we woke up the next day, everything in the fridge and freezer was spoiled. I have sent MANY text messages, emails and phone calls and I have literally gotten ZERO response. Worst management company ever. STAY AWAY no matter how nice the place may look on line!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Great weekend getaway

The condo was perfect for our weekend getaway. Beautiful views and spacious. Only feedback of improvement to the owner would be to invest in a new mattress for the 2nd bedroom. It was incredibly uncomfortable and warn.

October Views

Back deck with fantastic views of Grandfather Mountain. Soaking in the jet tub after hiking Rough Ridge and Linville Falls was relaxing. Perfect kitchen. Fresh towels, comfy beds. Warm gas fireplace 🤩

Beautiful View. Clean. Quiet. Safe.

Title says it all, we will definitely stay here again. The sunrises on the deck are stunning. Only thing is more clarity on hot water in shower, was not obvious how to figure out how to turn it on. I think they will do better explanation in the future, so don’t sweat this! Otherwise perfect spot! Thank you!

Location Location Location

We rented this condo for my birthday get-a-way. The listing clearly states it is "First floor" unit. We drive 4.5 hours and pull up to find that the unit is not ground level, you enter and park on the second level, and this unit is downstairs, down a steep outdoor staircase. My husband is disabled and can not do the stairs, we messaged multiple times and left text/call/emails with no answer. We ended up sitting in the parking lot waiting, to no avail, no response, so we drove to a local hotel and stayed there. We still, to this day, almost three weeks later, have not heard back from the owner (Vacasa got back to us and said they are waiting to hear back too) so I had to appeal the charge with my credit card. Absolute awful stay, and a ruined birthday. Hubby was so upset as well.
