Away from all the hustle and bustle, Leaning Pine Cottage is a cozy home on a quiet street, in a small town on the AZ/UT border just south of Kanab, Utah. Brand new mattresses, sheets, towels, couches...everything! Come stay with us and use us as your base camp while you explore Northern Arizona and Southern Utah.
Do you pull a camper, boat, or an ATV trailer? We can accommodate all your parking needs with AMPLE space to park on either the north or south side of the house.
Our amazing Property Manager, Trish, will be your point of contact for this home.

This was our second time in this cottage and it was again just wonderful. After long days at the National Parks, it was always like coming home. The cottage is equipped with everything what you need and more. The communication was great and always responsive and proactive. We are looking forward for our return and can just recommend this place.

Comfortable home near the parks

This home had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked and it had a nice yard.

Great location for access to North Rim of Grand Canyin. Property was great spot to relax, get some laundry done between hikes, etc. highly recommend

Perfect location for a Presidents’ Day getaway

Great property. great location. Very comfortable. Very affordable. Pet friendly RV parking property manager, and owner immediately available when a problem arose check in and check out process was very easy. we will definitely book it again when we are in the area

Well situated

property is an ideal location for staging day trips to the area sites. Not fancy but has everything needed at a reasonable price. I wish there were more like this.

Fall 2024

A nice quiet place to stay in the middle of many things to do. The town of Fredonia does not have any places to eat, but you are only 8 miles from Kanab Utah. Watch your driving in Fredonia ( speed ) because the police like to stop people. Overall it was a great place to stay

Good value and great central location

This was exactly what we needed: a clean place to crash for the night after being out all day visiting national parks. It's just outside the town of Kenab, UT (phones even stayed on UT time!), and its 90 miles or less from just about everything you'd want to see out here! Trish (property manager) was very responsive, and we especially appreciated all the extra towels, laundry and dish supplies, and well stocked kitchen.

Late winter break

We stayed 4 nights and came to the area for the ballon fest and site seeing. House was close to everything that northern Arizona and south Utah has to offer. It was nice to spend the day exploring and have a warm cozy house to come back too.

leaning pine property was great. House very clean and well stocked with all we needed. Outside yard and grill area was very nice. A suggestion would be to place a night stand on the right hand side of the bed in master bedroom, a small dresser and chair would be beneficial and aid in dressing. All else was very good. Location was excellent for what we wanted to do..

This 2 bedrm home had absolutely everything we needed. Went to N.Rim Grand Canyon, Navajo Bridge, Zion National Park, Bryce National Park. Easy centrally accessed to all. The manager/owner? was very nice. Even supplied spices etc. for kitchen and products to wash clothes. BBQ Grill. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cozy and cute and comfy in Fredonia!

My husband and our college son has this place as hone base for all our many activities in and around Fredonia and kanab The house was warm and very clean The host has a full kitchen and it was just relaxing WE WILL BE BACK! The leaning tree in the front is different and worth taking a photo There were visiting horses popping thier heads over the fence at our fog! Very fun bring apples or carrots they loved them Thank you

Nice and clean

The house was clean and met our expectation however, the area was a tad sketchy. There was a grill on site and washer/dryer. The beds were extremely comfortable and some condiments were left by fellow travelers which was nice. There is no hair dryer. Another chair instead of one for the backyard would be nice since it is a great place to grill out. The location is a bit out of the way to any restaurant. There are no businesses in the immediate area and Kanab is the closest. Call before you go into Kanab though. Many of the restaurants are closed because they can’t find help to open. Overall, a good experience.

No worries getaway

We could not have asked for more this rental. Host was easy to connect with, home was tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The linnens were good quality and the kitchen had all the equipment you would need. Nice little private back yard in a quiet neighborhood. The location is a quick drive to outdoor recreation. We would book this place again. Thank you!

Great location

Location was great to see many attractions in about an hour radius. Dogs loved the green grass in the fenced back yard! House supplied just about everything we needed.

Perfect location

Perfect location for all major points of interest like Bryce, Zion, North Rim, Buckskin Gulch and more. The house was perfect equipped with all what you need after strenuous hikes to relaxe, recharge and start on the next day again. It was very clean and comfortable quite and we would definitely recommend to stay here.
