Spacious basement apartment abutting Apex Park up on beautiful Lookout Mountain with large yard and beautiful patio. Great location as you are close to Denver and Red Rocks yet up in the peaceful mountains! The apartment is completely separate from the main house and is truly a get-a-way escape from it all. You can also work from the unit with excellent internet service.

The 1,700 square foot unit includes a family room with smart t.v., dining area, fully stocked kitchen, laundry, patio, cell and wifi coverage with speeds up to 400 Mbps.

The first bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has one queen bed and a twin day bed.

Outdoor patio with seating to enjoy the views and your morning coffee. Or strike up the BBQ grill for dinner and drinks while the sun is setting.

Denver Airport is 45 minutes away. Downtown Denver is 30 minutes and Red Rocks Ampitheater, Golden and Evergreen are just 15 minutes away. Many world class ski areas within an hours drive.

Note: The unit is at 7,200 elevation so during the months of October through April AWD or traction devices are highly recommended.

Perfect

Wonderful views, quiet friendly neighborhood. Short (less than10 mi utes) drive to Golden. Plenty of space for my son and I. Great outdoor patio with a grill and view of the sunset

Peace and Tranquility

We loved our stay at this property and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything was clean and the view incredible. The only "negative" would be if you are not comfortable driving up the mountain road, especially at night. Just something to be aware of if that is the case. If not, definitely consider booking this beautiful property.

Colorado Getaway

We LOVED this location. So much so that we will try to stay here every time we visit. We have family in Golden, CO and they are going to recommend it to all visitors. The lodging was nice, but the views were AMAZING. Also, the heard of Elk roaming through the yard were incredible. When we visited, the weather was awesome, but I could see snow & ice making this location hard to reach, since it is nestled in the hills. 10/10 could not recommend enough.

Red Rocks getaway weekend

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. The house and porch were clean and comfortable; got to enjoy peace and quiet with wonderful wildlife while being close to Red Rocks and town. I would absolutely stay here again!

Quiet, beautiful retreat

Beautiful, quiet property to rest and recharge. Comfortable furnishings, nice kitchen if you chose to cook, and views for days. A perfect location to explore all of the surrounding areas - from Vail and Breckenridge down to Morrison, Evergreen, and Golden. Had a great visit - can’t wait to return!

Absolutely Awesome

Everything was amazing. Great views on our way up. Very fast and clear communication with the host. Very quiet and tranquil location in the hill just outside of the city just minutes from I-70 and Golden. Unit was immaculate, nice furnishings and patio. A herd of Elk were seen the first day which was a huge bonus for some of us that had never seen them before.

Amazing!

Becky was the best host! Super responsive and accommodating which made our family gathering priceless! This place was exactly what we needed after a wedding celebration in Estes Park. We entertained during our stay and this place was equipped with everything we needed. Location is a short drive to everything. Great trail hike nearby as well! Loved this place!

Red Rocks adventure

My friend and I came out to Colorado to enjoy a concert at Red Rocks. The location was so convenient. We also loved exploring Golden. I loved the porch/deck. It was the perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee and a pizza with a view. We had everything we needed and you made the process easy

Great place to get over the jet lag and start our road trip.

Nestled on the side of a valley Mountain Meadows is a beautiful location to start our journey. Close enough to Golden, Denver and the surrounding parks but also out of the way enough to be quiet, relaxing and at one with nature. When we return to Colorado this is definitely a place we will stay again.

Stay here!

Peace, Tranquility, Wildlife and Amazing Open Space Views! They aren’t lying! Those are exactly the words we used when we sat on the patio overlooking the views while we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The elk visiting the yard was an added bonus. This is such a central location to visit Golden, Morrison, Evergreen. Nothing more than 20 minutes away. Red Rocks Amphitheater 15 mins. The rental was clean and quite spacious. Well stocked for any type of cooking and baking. We used the gas grill one evening and it was clean and had a full propane tank. We will definitely be picking this lovely place when we are back in the area.

Relaxation and beauty

What an amazing property! We were lucky enough to have sunshine and blue skies during our stay, and sitting out on the patio overlooking the beautiful vista was wonderful. Everything about our stay was excellent as it’s super comfortable inside with everything you need. Highly recommend!

Comfortable & Easy

It was great to wake up each morning to bugling elk and watch for the large herd that roamed around in the canyon out the front window. Beautiful and peaceful. Just a hop, skip, and jump to Red Rocks and Golden. Will book this place again in the future.

Wonderful experience

The host was very helpful and accommodating! Very easy to work with. The views at this property were spectacular! One minor thing to note, we got in after dark and the gps directions were a little misleading so we pulled in the wrong driveway but the host called right away and got us straightened out! We came out for a show at Red Rocks and it was super easy to get up and down the mountain to the venue! Definitely recommend this property and would stay again!

Pictures do not do this place justice!

Our family stayed here for 3 nights. We couldn't believe how large this place is! It is nestled on the mountain top with close access to the Buffalo Bill Museum and the Mother Cabrini Shrine. It was such a blessing to see the large statue of Jesus from the front porch! We also saw a fawn and mama deer. Absolutely beautiful- you can see the mountain side from one side of the property and an amazing aerial view of the city of Denver on the other. We can't say enough great things- would leave 6 stars if we could. The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of cooking aids. Thank you for the memories!

Peaceful Retreat

The property and view were wonderful. The first night a small herd of elk came right into the back yard in front of us. In addition to the terrific vista, the location was convenient to many parks and trails and very serene. It was very nice just to relax on the porch and grill out if an evening.

Lovely Property

Where to start?! The property and surrounding area are absolutely gorgeous- serene, peaceful with lots of birds and a few elk! We woke up to elk on the property the first morning! The unit itself is bigger than I imagined. Huge master bedroom, very large second bedroom, big dining/living area and a washer/dryer if you need it. The kitchen was well-appointed. I'm always thankful for previous guests who leave a coffee filter and condiments (or to the owners!). We were in town for a concert at Red Rocks and I think it took us 14 minutes to get to the venue. You can't beat it! We would definitely stay here again, especially if going to Red Rocks, or to hike the Golden/Morrison/Idaho Springs area . So much to see, lots of hiking, and great breweries. Hosts were great as well-very responsive!

A Fantastic Getaway

My friends and I booked this property for a trip to see a show at Red Rocks, and it was perfect! Fantastic location, super clean, plenty of space, and well stocked with towels and basics.

We love this property for the natural beauty, quietness, expansive space and the fact that we are only 45 minutes to the airport for family and friends. It is the best of both worlds.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The unit is conveniently located to Red Rocks, Denver, Golden, Evergreen, Rocky Mountain National Park and the Garden of the Gods but stil feels like it is away from it all. After spending the day with activities coming back to the patio and relaxing is a vacation in and of itself.
