The Hendrickson House: (Sleeps 7). Bathrooms (2) No Hills.. Note this is a 1 private bedroom on the 2nd floor. (2) other beds on the main floor. Q murphy bed and Q sofa sleeper in the 1st level living room, with no privacy curtains.

Front Room: Large wrap around couch. ( 1 part a queen sofa sleeper), also a Queen Murphy bed all in the same room with no privacy. Fireplace, 43" Smart TV with cable. High Speed WIFI.

Well equipped Kitchen & counter. Back door to large deck with table and chairs. Front porch with table & chairs.

The Hendrickson House is a beautifully decorated, fully-furnished vacation condo in historic Bayfield with hardwood and slate floors.

The kitchen was well stocked. However the refrigerators were small and oddly placed. One was so cold it mostly froze our vegetables. The couch was comfy but we would have loved a chair in the living room as well. The sleeping arrangements were ok but there could be another twin in that small room off the bedroom. Some hooks or better storage to unpack clothes would be nice. Bathroom s were clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay but felt it a bit overpriced. I say this mostly because of the odd sleeping arrangements. Bayfield is pretty but there wasn’t much to do.

two great porches.. Spent the morning on the front during a rain storm, and out back to watch the sunsets. beds were comfy, pillows a bit soft, will prob have a few more opts after this ;-)... There were nice n responsive.

It was amazing, however it was listed as a two bedroom and it's not. It's just a one bedroom. The other bed was in the dining room/living room.

Great location

Wonderful location and well cared for property. Very quiet town. Grocery store around the corner and everything is within walking distance. We loved our time in the Apostle Islands. The kitchen was nicely stocked with quality cookware and appliances. This was a great family vacation!

Bayfield, WI

This property was wonderful. Great location, near the Bayfield Marina. Plenty of on street parking. We were able to check in a little early, which is always nice. We came to Bayfield to attend a concert at the Big Top (12 minutes away) and spent the second day on an Apostle Island cruise and visiting the local shops. Highly recommend this property

Great Stay!

We had a great stay at Hendrickson’s House in Bayfield! The home was very clean and well-maintained, in a nice location close to everything. Perfect for our family of four — plenty of space and comfort. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We loved our stay! We had everything we needed for a few days in the Bayfield area. It was nice to be able to walk to pretty much anything we wanted to in town. The nature trail near by was a bonus. The house was clean and the bedroom was spacious. Would definitely recommend!

Great for family get away to Bayfield

This is a house with a great location near restaurants, shopping and lake. Nice lake views. It was fully remodeled with wood floors, a hot tub and deck. Has a nice kitchen area with all the amenities. This is the second time my wife and I stayed here with another couple. The only drawback is a lack of closet space to hand clothes.

Don’t Miss This One

Location is perfect for enjoying Bayfield while still giving the feeling of being tucked away from the main drag. It was immaculately clean and had all the things we needed to make our stay comfortable. This time it was just two of us but we could have easily fit 3 more and still not felt cramped. We will be back, thanks for a great stay!

Nice house, nice location

This was a nice property, very clean. The location is great, walking distance to shops, dining and cruises in Bayfield. It's not really 2 bedroom as the second sleeping area is the couch pull out bed, but it was fairly comfortable anyway. We had a nice stay.

What a Jewel!

First let me say that the photos don’t do this place justice! It is SO much better than the pictures. It was super clean and welcoming. The location is walkable to everything and perfect. We were traveling with my elderly parents. They slept upstairs in the bed and my husband and I took the sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa has the sheets of the previous guests oddly still on it but thankfully there was a fresh set still in the box with the pillows and blanket. The sofa bed was… well… a sofa bed. Nothing great but serviceable. It could stand some WD-40. The water pressure was good. The fridge is a little odd please note it is NOT a full sized fridge. The kitchen was pretty well appointed. The upstairs bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. Some reviews harp on the fact that there isn’t a door at the top of the stairs but because of the layout of the house we did not find this problematic AT ALL. We had plenty of privacy and no one’s hearing anyone snoring or whatever. My parents really wanted to watch cable and never did get it to work but we were oddly able to get our local news in NC. We were there to see the sights though so who cares about the TV. No one was upset about it. This place is beautiful! Definitely a great find. Worth every penny.

Beautiful house…perfect spot! All as expected! Got spendy based on lodging tax, service fee and cleaning fee. Just be ready for the extra cost when booking through VRBO

Cute Cottage in Bayfield!

Soooo cute!! Tons of space, super comfy bed. Took bikes on ferry to Madeleine Island for a ride. Will be back!

Great people, great shops, great restaurants, great fishing guides, great boat tours of the Apostle Islands and light houses, great kayaking, great cross country skiing and down hill sking (just 3.5 miles south of Bayfield, great dog sledding, great concerts at the Big Top. Come visit and see what we see daily! You will love Bayfield.

This property was completely renovated just a few years ago. Central AC. Fine linens, towels, and a fully appointed kitchen with coffee. Spacious with two bathrooms, 1st Level Queen Sofa Sleeper & Queen Murphy Bed.
2nd Level1 King bed and twin bed in same room. 2nd bedroom, jacuzzi besides Sit on the front porch and enjoy your morning cup of coffee or enjoy the back deck. Very clean & well maintained. Easy access with door code we issue at time of reservation. Arrival 4:00 pm or after. Departure is 10:00 AM.
