Nice house and great location. Easy walk to downtown and restaurants. Fantastic view of the water from house and especially the sun room - our favorite spot in the house. Host was super helpful and answered our questions promptly. Looking forward to coming back.

Angie We're glad you liked our house on Kelleys Island. However, as I mentioned shortly after you checked out, there was a problem with the vertical blinds in the living room and one slat was damaged. It seems that someone did not close or open them according to instructions posted on the wall. I can only assume this is what happened because I did send you a note about this but I received no response. This repair costed about $20, but your damage deposit has already been refunded. We are requesting as a courtesy to us that you pay for this repair. Any money for the repair would be filtered through VRBO after I request the extra payment.

Great View!

This is a cute home with a great sunroom that has a fantastic view if the water. It had everything we needed for a short vacation. I would stay here again.

Amazing view

This was a great house for our family's trip to Kelley's Island. We especially enjoyed the view of the water and the gorgeous sunsets each night from the front yard. The large sunroom was an ideal place to enjoy our coffee in the morning, too.

Perfect little getaway

We enjoyed our stay! The house was cozy and the view was beautiful, perfect location for watching the sunset!! Our girls had fun playing the games that were at the house. The host was great to work with.

Great Experience

This property is exactly as advertised. Great location. Well kept. Attentive manager. We had a really nice experience enjoying the sunsets and sleeping in a comfortable space. We would stay here again.

Cute house, good location, great view

This is a very nice house. Nothing fancy but very comfortable.It's a little bit of a walk to downtown, but that's a good thing because there isn't a lot of rowdy foot traffic out front. I especially appreciated the garage to put our bikes in.

Great overall stay

No problem with the rental start to finish. Stayed two nights for a friends wedding. Great chairs in the garage, used those on the sliver of property that butted up to the lake. It was absolutely beautiful. John was a great host. The rental is exactly as described. Would definitely love to stay again.

Very nice property

Renret before us mixed up their dates and thought thet booked for Thursday & Friday but actually had booked for Wwdnesday & Thursday, so when the ckeaning lady showed up @ 4:15, they were still theee. The cleaning lady did a great job after they left and we got in @ 5:00. Other than that, everything was great!

This house is in an excellent location with Lake Erie right across the road. The house layout worked fine for four adults with the two bedrooms and one bathroom. The kitchen is a nice size and very well stocked. The A/C unit easily kept the house cool. There are nice outdoor chairs in the garage. The sun room is a great place to spend the morning. Getting into the house was simple with the details provided. The listing states that BED LINENS ARE NOT PROVIDED. We did not notice this when we booked the house and read it in the checkin details that we were sent a few days before checkin. We thought this meant that no bedding was provided so we brought sheets, blankets and pillows. That was a real hassle, only to find out we only needed to bring bed sheets. There were cobwebs at every window and door between the glass and screen. The windows were very dirty. The rest of the house was clean. The house smelled musty as though the foundation vents were left in too long, or maybe there aren’t any vents at all. The smell lessened over three days but still remained. Our bedding smelled musty when we returned home. The listing states there is garage parking, but there is so much stuff (including a fridge) in the garage that a car would not fit. The garage door opener doesn’t work. The grill is charcoal which you must provide yourself. You will be expected to take your garbage to a local drop off which costs a fee.

Location, location, location

Fantastic location with a lakeside view. Able to walk easily into town. Very clean and comfortable with excellent communication from host. Outside/beach chairs are in the garage. The sunroom was freshly painted a light blue which was different from the picture and it really lightened up the room. You have to bring your own linens (sheets and fitted sheets) and paper towels, etc… but we found that previous guests had left a good stash so we didn’t have to use everything we brought. We didn’t know we had to take our garbage out to the transfer station until we got there but it was easy and the station is open most days, weekends, and holidays. Overall we would stay again and recommend to friends/family.

What a wonderful stay at this home on Kelleys Island. Location was perfect and the home had everything needed plus for a perfect vacation. The owner was great to work with! We will be back!

Girls Weekend

Perfect location, although it was hard to find it late at night when we arrived. The only downfall was needing to provide all of our own linens, towels, etc.
