We love the Cedar Cottage! This is our 5th consecutive year at the Island and our second at Cedar Cottage. The location is perfect - off the beaten path enough to be quiet and peaceful yet close enough to everything. The Cottage is comfortable and perfectly sized for our needs. Mark is an excellent and responsive host and the Cottage is reasonably priced. Another great stay!

Nice and quiet location with a great private backyard and deck area. We enjoyed our stay. Would rate higher if property was cleaned better (floors, bathroom, window ac units looked and smelled dirty/mildew filled). There was a list of cleaning chores for checkout so I’m hoping cleaning wasn’t being done by guests only.

The property was great it was well maintained, the neighbors were very friendly. Only thing that I would love to see would be more parking space.

We had a great stay at Cedar Cottage. The kitchen was modern and fully stocked with all equipment we needed. The outdoor grill did a perfect job on our burgs and steak. The beds were very comfortable too!We will bring our little father, son and grandson fishing trip back again next summer.

The house looked exactly as advertised. It was spacious and very cute. Mark hooked us up with a golf cart thru the neighbor, who delivered and picked it up for no additional charge. Our dog enjoyed the yard and the fact that the house is at the end of the road meant he could be trusted off leash. The island was surprisingly closed down for the first week of October. The coffee shop was only available Sat/Sun, which was very disappointing because I hadn't packed any and it was really expensive at the store. We did get to eat at The Groove, which was excellent. The calmness of the island really allowed us to take a break from everyday life.

We had no way of getting the message that the house wasn’t ready and even though we were half hour late the house wasn’t properly clean as the dog hair on the mattress was gross. We had a major rain storm and flooding which in no way was the owners fault; we dealt with it. Lots of room here, well stocked kitchen, lots of extras. The photos doesn’t match reality, the shrubs are overgrown but we like it that way. The patio was great for entertaining guests. We didn’t have a chance to use the yard so I can’t speak on that. Prices are high but they are everywhere on the island and we had a great stay.

Would stay here again!

We had the best weekend at the Cedar Cottage! There were 8 of us and the cottage was perfect for a girls weekend! We loved the secluded location and the fire pit was wonderful!

Beautiful peaceful property

We had such a great time here at Kelley’s Island. It was very relaxing and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire pit proved on the property. It was secluded and quiet. Perfect weekend get away!

The property was comfortable and equipped for a rainy day during our visit. Our dog owners were happy with the pet-friendly floors. We also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit our first evening at the cottage. It was nicely located on the island and within close proximity of many of our favorite restaurants, beaches and activities.
