Great short family trip! Hurricane stress relief!

Had the privilege of staying on the beautiful property with friends and my family, driving from Houston to het away from the Hurricane stress. House was awesome. Everyone had a blast, close to everything but far enough away at the same time!

Property was clean, comfortable for 8 of us, owner checked in on us which was very much appreciated. Perfect way to end our summer before the kids head back to school. Will definitely refer and return!

Relaxing getaway

We had the best time! This was exactly what we needed the weekend before taking our youngest to his freshmen year at college. Cool mornings sitting outside watching deer/chickens. Easy access to Maegers Crossing and Garner State Park. Lots of family time around the farm table, and plenty of memories made. Hope to come back again!

Perfect getaway!

This was a great property in the perfect location! It had everything we needed to accommodate our group and was very clean. We were able to enjoy the river right down the road, check out garner, and even had a large yard to hang out and let the kids play. Would absolutely book here again!

Beautiful rustic charm

Super host provided a warm, welcome. Spacious & comfortable . Great outdoor setting for peaceful star gazing. Variety of games for loads of fun! Very close to Garner state park. Quick access to local shops and restaurants we loved it❤️ will be packing our bags and coming back for more R&R again soon !

Lots of quality family time!

This place was perfect for our group. The RV hook ups made it so that we could fit several families on the property. The kids ran around playing hide in seek and we played games at the big table in the house. We sat around the fire pit (no fire needed this summer!) and played music. You do have to drive down and park at the river but once we got our little system down it was super easy! The kids swam all the way up the river and explored. Super close to town for running errands too. Highly recommend!

Best supplied VR we've stayed with

House was well set up with plenty of seating, perfect for our group. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, plenty of games and books for all ages as well as a great outdoor space. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Property is in a great location close to frio river and town with restaurants and stores. I would rent this property again the next time I went to Leakey Texas

Couples Retreat!

We had an amazing weekend at the river! The house was perfect, great location, clean, and had everything we could need. Also, Brett was very accommodating and provided excellent recommendations and communication! Highly recommend.

Beautiful House

My brother and I stayed here over the weekend and absolutely loved it! The house is spectacular. Super clean, new, comfortable beds, lots of space and outstanding outdoor space. The location is convenient and it feels private. We will be back!

Amazing family time!

Everything about this property was awesome! They house itself was perfect for our family. Super close to the Frio, wildlife everywhere, close to local restaurants and shops. The personal touches the owner did made a lasting first impression. We look forward to going back and staying here!

Excellent stay. Neat and well appointed.

We were in town for a family reunion and this farmhouse made our stay so pleasant. The owner was excellent at communicating to us about everything and we had a really great stay. If we get to go next year, I plan to book it again!
