The Ultimate Family Mountain Retreat - Game Room, Hiking, Hot Tub

This home is great for Families and groups - The interior of the main house is clean and serene to relax and unwind and the outdoors and game room are designed for fun and play! There is truly something for everyone at this gorgeous property.

The Property:
The home is a 2,000 sq ft, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, home with an additional 700 sqft dethatched Game Room & lounge. The outdoors provide an unbeatable atmosphere for the perfect getaway with breathtaking views of mountain tops, seasonal streams, a bridge waterfall, hot tub, fire pit, BBQ, pick nick tables, park benches, one of a kind horse shoe pit! disc golf, corn hole and 8 acres of private hiking trails! The GAME ROOM is a great space where families can have fun. This versatile, indoor/outdoor space is equipped with a 75" TV, NEW digital XBOX Series S, 8 Arcade Machines, table hockey, V-Darts and more! Our game room has been tastefully decorated and outfitted to entertain, provide a bit of gaming history....and has endless amounts of eye candy and fun.

Sleeping Accommodations:
*We can accommodate up to 14 guests with a mix of adults and children. This assumes shared beds. If your group has all adults, the home is best suited for a max of 10. Please view the sleeping arrestments bellow:

Things in the area:
Ramona is also only a short jump from all of the other activities that the greater San Diego Region has to offer. The closest attraction is the San Diego Zoo Safari Park and is a short 25 minute drive. Sea World, Lego Land, Downtown, The San Diego Zoo, Gaslamp District and the beaches are all within a 45 minute drive. Further destinations such as the Mexican border are 1 hour.

*Our beautiful mountain home is valued for it peace and serenity in the evenings. The property is located next to a campground and our quite times mirror the campgrounds rules regarding quite times being between 10pm and 6am.

Perfect Family Reunion spot

Everyone in the family had such a wonderful time. The place was clean, spacious and had everything you could need. The game room was amazing! Would definitely book again.

San Diego get away

Enjoyed every bit of our stay, house was clean and exactly as advertised, however the game room wss super hot and everything is one hour away not 30 mins as memtioned in the advertisement...

Nice place few issues

The property was nice, but there were a couple of issues. The game room was so hot, we couldn't spend much time in it. The dishes in the kitchen cabinet we dirty, we had to wash the dishes before using them. There was a open half gallon of ice cream in the game room freezer that still had a spoon in it. toilet paper hardware fell of the wall in one of the bathrooms. Most of the outside lights did not work, had to use the hot tub in the dark.

Fun Place

This home is great! It is a very pretty setting with lots of privacy, and a awesome game room! Had so much fun relaxing, sitting in the hot tub and catching up with friends. Would definitely recommend this home for a fun getaway.

Perfect for all ages!

This place has it all! Everyone in your party will find something they love. Beautiful hike around the property, fun outdoor games, a ride into town for antique shopping, use the completely decked out game room, relaxing in the hot tub, and I could go on and on! This is a well thought out and stocked home! Enjoy!!

Relaxing family get together.

This property was excellent for meeting together with several family members in a relaxing location and yet close enough to Poway to easily visit a relative in a care facility. The game room and outdoor activities were very good. We all slept well. Dining room and kitchen were the center of our indoor socializing and worked well. Nice private outdoor area. We had a very enjoyable stay. The owners were available if we would have needed any help, which we didn't.

Beautiful Secluded Retreat

The property is fantastic. A great place to get away from it all while still being close enough to explore the San Diego area. The home is very nice and the game room makes the place fantastic. The property has room to do lots of exploring while also playing some outdoor family games of disc golf, horseshoes, cornhole, etc. Looking forward to going back with the family soon!

Excellent family home in a natural location

We enjoyed holiday time with our family gathering from Texas, Illinois and California. This lovely home met our needs for both the little ones and adults in our four family units. Even though the weather turned a bit damp, we were still able to enjoy the property, hike to Potato Chip Rock, and drive into San Diego for the Zoo and Coronado Island beach time. Carissa is an excellent host and was very prompt with answering questions and meeting our needs. The whole group especially enjoyed the hot tub in the cold weather. We were glad we chose this home for this trip.

Perfect Family Retreat

The pictures looked good when we made the reservation, but they really don’t do justice to this amazing property. We loved everything about the accommodations, although my 10 and 11 yr old boys are now spoiled for life after 5 days with that incredible game room. The Potato Chip Rock hike is a must do! Carissa was super responsive and easy to work with. I could not recommend this place more.

Great Space

The home and property were amazing -- exceeding our expectations. Though we weren't that far away from San Diego proper -- it felt like we were 100s of miles away. A campground abuts the property -- thus, the strictly enforced quiet hours.

Family Fun

Fabulous Mountain Retreat

Just spent a lovely long weekend in this fabulous mountain retreat! The property and home were perfect for our family and we very much enjoyed the outdoor activities and, in particular, the new game room. Wonderful retreat

We visited this home to get away from the city with our family for a few days. The property is so serene and relaxing. The backyard is gorgeous and peaceful, and our boys loved exploring the grounds. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Carissa is incredibly responsive and goes out of her way to ensure a wonderful stay. Our boys keep asking when we can go back!

Fantastic Location and lots of fun

We stumbled upon this house and Ramona,CA while looking at locations to book for New Years. We still can’t seem to figure out how we found this house but we are all very glad we did. The house is cozy and fit our 2 families very comfortably. With 4 boys there was plenty of outdoor activities for them and we brought bicycles so they would ride over to the park next door and hang out or go exploring. The area was very secluded and safe and Carissa was very communicative and friendly with requests and questions. We are looking forward to coming back in the Spring or Summer!

christmas 2020

after the entire family quarantined before coming together in this homey mountain retreat we were all so very pleased with the property. The owner went up and beyond putting just enough christmas decorations to make it have that special feel. It was very clean and felt safe and we all had a very memorable time.

Thank you for an amazing vacation

The house is gorgeous. The grounds are beautifully cared for. Clarissa spoiled us with all the extra details (choices of pillows, treats by the coffee maker,...). We especially loved the outdoor showers and hot tub (in the middle of the heat wave). Our family created great memories in this wonderful home. Thank you

Very Cool Property

Tucked away, great for kids. Property owners are great. Good for small group, lots of outdoor picnic tables. Close to hiking, park, and wineries. I recommend!

Great little get away in the hills

The owners went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable with some personalized gifts for our kids (birthday) and even bought a small dinner chair for our 1 year old to eat in since we forgot ours. The property is tucked away in a secluded area just behind a state park and offers hiking and other outdoor amenities. We enjoyed some of the local stores and farms in the neighboring areas including a trip to the Oasis Camel farm where our kids got a private tour (during COVID) to meet and feed many of their animals.

Quiet Retreat

I took my 3 boys on an annual golf trip and this place was perfect. Quiet , clean and very relaxing. Golfed in San Bernardo ( 25 min ) and Carlsbad ( 50 min ) . What looked like a lil grocery store just as you turn left onto the 67 also has great pizza. (The Works is awesome ) ! Back to the house. We enjoyed sitting out on the back deck listening to the frogs serenading us. At dusk the mosquitoes come out but not really an issue if you have some wipes or spray. At dark they are a non-issue. Carissa very nice and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this retreat.

Relaxing retreat

We loved this house - esp the patio. We were able to comfortably fit a group of 14 of us. The house looks just like in the photos! We hiked up the private trail and walked to the lovely park down the street! Perfect for a getaway!

Carissa rocks!

The home is lovely and grounds are beautiful Loved sitting on the back deck for coffee in the morning, very peaceful. Carissa was always available for any of our needs and quick to respond. Even after our stay when we realized we forgot something at the house she was right there and ready to help. Keep up the good work! Hope to stay here again!
