This gorgeous 5 bedroom, 4 baths Eco-Friendly beach villa lies on the edge of one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, Sandy beach. This is a sustainable property, primarily powered with solar energy during daylight hours and Tesla lithium battery for night time hours. Hot water as well is provided by solar heated panels located on the roof top. This villa provides a serene and tranquil atmosphere, with a unique bohemian feel that’s very relaxing and peaceful as you unwind and relax. Whether lounging on hammocks beneath the thatched palapa or whale watching from our expansive rear deck on the bluff, this home is an exquisite getaway. This setting combines Rincon's world famous surfing beaches with its famous sunsets while in view of Desecheo Island. This beautiful home is continously updated to ensure maximum efficiency as well as comfort. We are thrilled with the outcome and hope you enjoy it as much as we did getting it ready for you. This villa is equipped with an owner/managers suite, located on upstairs level. Our goal is to make this home as 'green' as possible, yet providing comfortable accommodations for our guests, seeking an unforgetable getaway. You will find motion censored faucets in bathrooms to help reduce water consumption as it is very expensive. All shower heads are equipped with low flow output to again reduce excess water usage. You will also find solar panel lighting in various places outdoors to continue to reduce electric consumption. Our goal is to utilize the abundant sun Mother Nature has gives us, in the Caribbean, and contribute in helping future generations enjoy this beautiful island and world. With your help, we can make the difference. Hope you can assist in conserving energy while you visit this gorgeous and fun beach house. This property does NOT a back up generator for when electricity is out. Unfortunately, our solar power system is not powerful enough to run our air conditioner units, which work on grid power.

Exactly what we needed

First of all, Rusty is the man. Despite some things that could’ve ruined our vacation (a flat tire, similar incidents), outside of Rusty’s control — it was perfection. 4 couples stayed for 4 days. The view from the upper deck can’t be beat, the beach has practically a private section for the house, and the city offered a lot of entertainment. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer host and genuinely considering re-renting next year.

Stunning beach property

This special house right on Sandy Beach is by far my favorite place to stay on my visits to Rincón. This time, I was with a small group but I’ve been there with a large group, and there is so much beautiful outdoor deck space that there’s a spot for everyone to have a nook to read, sunbathe, do some yoga or have a conversation without being in anyone else’s space. And then there’s the gorgeous beach. If big waves aren’t your cup of tea, this stretch of beach isn’t for you. We loved it and spent most of our stay there. So glad the host provided beach chairs and an umbrella. The price is on the high side, but you definitely do get what you pay for. Host also responds very quickly. I hope this house will be available and well cared for for years to come.

Paradise

This house is really a private resort. Views are amazing and lush natural vegetation provides amazing privacy. Your own door way and 3 steps to the beach. Upper deck views cannot be beat for privacy and the 180 degree view of the ocean and beach. Small pool was perfect for kids and outdoor area was where we spent all our time. You’re on the beach but with all the comforts of loungers, couches, and hammocks. House was clean but dated, which we did not mind at all when you have the ocean breeze blowing through the whole house. Jakes Java coffee shop 1 minute walk in the morning. Restaurants 5-10 minute walk. Easy 10 min drive into downtown Rincon. This is a hidden gem in a quiet paradise. This property is on a bluff overlooking sandy beach and the ocean. It is truly amazing!

Magical Beach Vacation!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Sandy Beach villa. The location cannot be beat and Rusty was the perfect host, responded immediately to all inquiries. The bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and the outdoor social space was heavenly! Will be back for sure

Epic spot on Sandy Beach

Great location and access to beach. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and a mini mart. We were 2 families of 4, we split up by floors and all were comfortable.

Great stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to rent again

This is a great rental, located in about as perfect spot as I can imagine for this area. Private, convenient, HUGE amount of space, and very comfortable. The deck alone is worth it. Great communication from the owner as well.

11 of us stayed in this villa while in Rincon to celebrate a wedding. we never wanted to leave! it was beautiful and Rusty was so helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

The location and views here are unbeatable. Immense outdoor space, perfect for a big group. We particularly enjoyed watching the surfers from the top deck. Rusty was very communicative and accommodating. Thank you for sharing with us!

EXCEPTIONAL large beachfront home...very special property

We came for 3 weeks in Rincon with a group of friends. The property has prime location directly on the highly desired sandy beach within a very short distance to Tamboo restaurant and Jakes coffee. The property has 2 distinct living areas up and downstairs but plenty of room to all gather together. Outdoor decks are spectacular...just stunning and huge. Sandy beach is rated the best beach in Rincon and it is just awesome. The host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate recommending and plan on bringing our large family back for vacation this summer. Thank you Rusty for a great stay and for offering your home to others for enjoyment.

Wonderful Vacation!

This is the third time we have stayed at Coralina Del Mar.... we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Rincon! it's perfectly situated on the edge of Sandy Beach, within walking distance to several great bars, restaurants, shops, etc. The outdoor space is the best...plenty of room for everyone in our large group to relax...whether you want to nap in the hammock under the shaded pavilion, or soak in the sun on a lounge chair on the upper terrace, or sit on the upper deck and watch the surf or look for whales or just take in the spectacular view. The indoor space is well appointed...the kitchens are supplied with just about anything you'd need...the beds are comfy and there were plenty of towels provided. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here...we'll be back again next year, I'm sure!

Absolutely gorgeous home, ample space, lovely!!!

This beautiful home is built into the cliffs of Sandy Beach in Rincon. The pictures do not do it justice at all. It is stunning in so many ways from the wrap around decks overlooking the ocean waves to the tiled veranda with the thatched roof and hammocks for relaxing in the shade. Literally on the beach, steps from 3-4 restaurants, a coffee/green smoothie hut across the street. You don't need (and don't want to) leave Coralina del Mar. Rusty, the owner, is responsive, kind and honest. I'm planning to rent again next year! Me and the 17 people I brought with me felt like we were in paradise for a week! This place is very special (and I looked at several places.) Enjoy Coralina del Mar!

Staying with a family over Christmas

The house has a great location, it is nested at one of the most beautiful beaches in Rincon, Sandy beach. It has a massive deck overlooking the beach, the whole concept is great. However, the house is so old and dated, the furniture is so disgusting, the sofas are filthy with legs falling apart, they put clean sheets to cover it all up. The whole house was very dirty in general, we found the dirt between the plates that has never been washed, rusty oven, not working dish washer. The floors, the doors, everything was just so dirty, we all felt so disgusting. We took showers outside as the bathrooms were so dated and filthy. There is NO washer or dryer at the premises. There is NO hot water unless there's a sun out and even then it wasn't fully hot. The water pressure was terrible. There was NO smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector. We had to leave earlier as the top apartments had major leak and you could smell the mould and moister in the rooms. It is such a shame as Rincon is a beautiful place with lots of restaurants, coffee shops and the most amazing beaches, but the house ruined our Christmas and the whole experience.The owner was fair at the end and partially refunded us as we originally paid for luxury accommodation, but the house was just inhabitable. I hope the owner understands how amazing opportunity he has and fix all the issues....otherwise not sure that ai would rent it in this stage.

Our fourth visit -- just as great as our first!

We just returned from our fourth vacation at Coralina Del Mar! We have come back four years in a row for many reasons…a few of them include: • The location is the best on Sandy Beach…so close to everything, yet very quiet/private. The beach is literally just down a short set of stairs, and several of our favorite restaurants and bars are just a 3-5 minute walk. • We love many aspects of the house, but our favorite part is the large sun deck. The first thing we all do every morning is get coffee and sit on the deck to watch the waves and surfers...no better way to start any day as the views are just amazing. • Kristine is easy to work with and she always ensures our visit goes smoothly…each year we ask her for help with small extra services and she is always happy to assist. We highly recommend Coralina Del Mar and look forward to returning next year. Mike -- Stamford, CT

Fantastic Family Experience

We gathered two families at Coralina Del Mar for Christmas and had a fantastic time. The house is in what we think is the best location for enjoying Sandy Beach/Puntas, occupying the corner of the beach and offering amazing views from the expansive deck on top of the rock that defines the reef at the Puntas surf break. Our party included: experienced surfers who loved staying (literally) on top of their favorite spot and easy access to all the other breaks at Rincon, children who are learning and enjoyed the family friendliness and sand bottom of Sandy beach, and kids of all ages who loved the house and it’s comfortable and cool spaces. When not on the beach, the shade of the patio and pool area were refreshing and fun and the kids and adults loved the selection of books throughout the house. Being two families, we also appreciated the ability to spread out and have two kitchens and living areas when people needed space. Rusty and Sebastian were great hosts and very responsive to our questions. We would definitely come back. For those who know Rincon and/or are seeking to have many options for fun and relaxation at your doorstep (without having to drive or transit), this is hard to beat.

Perfect location - very special place!

Just got back from an amazing week at Coralina Del Mar. We were a group of 13 adults - couples and singles - and there was plenty of space for everyone... and then some. We've traveled to Rincon many times, and this was by far, the nicest place we've stayed. The location can't be beat - right on Sandy Beach, overlooking the beautiful ocean. The home is within walking distance to many little shops and restaurants, including Tamboo, Kabanas, Pool Bar, Big Kahuna Beach Bar, Rincon Taco, and more. The outdoor space at the house was the best part - there are so many options for relaxing - whether it's under the thatched roof gazebo, or poolside, or one of the many decks, with options for both sun and shade. We found the beds to be very comfy and the linens very nice. The kitchens were well stocked - especially the larger downstairs kitchen, which was where we did most of the cooking. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed, but nothing that detracted from our stay. We informed the owner of these issues, so hopefully they can be addressed for future renters. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to stay with a large group in Rincon!

Amazing property!

Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc? The listing was accurate, but it did not do the property justice. We were pleasantly surprised at how relaxing the place was as soon as we stepped through the doors. Was the property clean and well-maintained? Immaculate! Did the owner or manager provide good customer service? Perfect service. The property manager met us upon our arrival, and he showed us everything we needed to know to take full advantage of all the amenities in the house and property. Would you recommend this property to a friend or relative? Yes. I would recommend this especially to a very large group. Three small families could enjoy this property and feel as though they each have a private space. Common spaces are spectacular. What activities, attractions and restaurants did you enjoy? Our group took surfing lessons with 787Surf and it was rigorous and well worth the money. We were able to get a small discount for a group rate (8 adults). We also ate at Shipwreck and Tamboo. One suggestion for owners: grille needs to be updated.

Paradise

I can't say enough about how awesome this house is. We had the double doors open on the sides of the house most of the time and the ocean air and breeze kept us cool. The deck view over the little rock cliff was amazing especially for sunset. The deck has multiple spots that have beautiful views including upper and lower areas that overlook the beach. It is the best house on Sandy Beach, a great little neighborhood on the outskirts of RIncon. Walking distance to Tamboo and the best burger in town @ the Big Kahuna, as well as Jake's Java with excellent coffee and smoothies right at the top of our driveway. Our 3 families took the entire house and it worked out perfectly. Each family got 2 rooms. You can't get between the upstairs and downstairs without going outside, but that was not a big deal and really makes sense if the 3 areas are rented by different parties. The palapa was great to get out of the sun with plenty of seating. The house truly felt like our own private resort. Upon arrival we had a few minor maintenance issues and Rusty was super helpful and resolved them right away. He put us in touch with a private chef, Loraine Arroyo, for one of our nights which was a real treat. Thank you for sharing this amazing place. We hope to return.

Thankful for an amazing Thanksgiving break!

We have traveled to Puerto Rico three times and our most recent visit for Thanksgiving was definitely our best! This spectacular beach home was perfectly situated to enjoy watching the surfers and to play in the sand and waves! The home was spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, and nicely appointed with anything you could possibly need. The huge deck was our favorite spot for morning yoga and evening cocktails. There were 11 in our party, with 7 kids ranging in age from 9-17. Thank goodness for the outdoor shower!!! Though with so many bathrooms and so much space, the kids felt like they had their own apartment and the parents had the opportunity to enjoy the space and privacy too! During our stay, we made full use of the grill and the kitchens. We also enjoyed several dinners out at the neighboring restaurants all within a very short walk. We celebrated a birthday dinner at Tamboo, enjoyed sushi at Pool Bar, and thoroughly enjoyed an adult dinner out at Escape at Casa Verde (it was so good, we went back for dessert the next night)! Our gracious hostess, Kris Torres, arranged for a private snorkeling catamaran tour and parasailing, which were both a blast! We ran and walked up and down the beach daily and never saw another property anything like Coralina del Mar! We would return in a heartbeat, would recommend this vacation home to anyone, and can't wait for our next visit! Thank you, Kris and Rusty!

Great location on the beach

We recently had our family out to this property to escape the cold winters of Virginia. The proximity to the beach and outdoor living spaces around this house are fantastic. Frankly, I'm not sure you could ask for better ocean views from the upper deck sitting area. That part of the house was amazing. A couple issues did arise on our stay, but as others have mentioned, life in the tropics can be tough. The salty air has certainly taken a toll on most of the exposed metal pieces (think door knobs and such) on the house, and they could use replacing. Our first night in the house, we could not get the oven to work and ultimately pivoted to different dinner plans. The property manager was able to come out the next morning and fix the issue. The next couple days were great and without issue. Unfortunately, on our last night at the property, the power went out and never came back on. All of the neighbors continued to have power via their backup generators. It would be really nice if this place had one as well, as it seems to be a regular issue on the island via an unstable power grid. All in all, we had fun and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Nothing in life is perfect, but this place certainly checked most boxes:)

2 of 3 days were great, 3rd day shower broke, water had to be shut off, not fixed before we left

The first 2 days were great. The property is located right on the beach and had lots of room outside to relax and enjoy it. Inside the home was fine and the air conditioning worked well. On the third day (Easter Sunday), one of the shower knobs shot off, releasing an unstoppable stream of water. Property Management needed to be contacted, all water shut offs were behind locked doors, 1.5 hours later the water was shut off to the home. The release of water was so great that no other shower or faucet in the home could generate enough pressure to do more than trickle out. The Property Manager was not able to get a plumber in to fix the issue during our stay. As a "fix" the Property Manager revealed that there is an "owners suite" on the property which he could stay in over night in order to turn the water on/off so that toilets could be flushed. The issue had not been resolved before we left the next day. Overall the property is in an excellent location in Rincon and is great for big groups. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Lastly, to apologize for the water, the property manager offered a 40% discount on our last day. VRBO is currently looking into the issue.

Could not imagine anything better: peaceful, spiritual, gorgeous.

We had a group of 4 Moms and 3 of our teenage boys with us (ages 13-16) and we can't rave enough about this Villa. First, the location was the most peaceful and spiritual place. It mixes up direct access to a beach (which is calm in a.m. and waves pick up in the afternoon, which the teenagers loved), and also rocks and a 270%+ view of ocean, right on the ocean. The decks are everywhere and hammocks and we hung out at them all. Watching the sunset every nite was awesome! You can walk to coffee/smoothie places (Jacks Shack), restaurants on the beach and elsewhere are very accessible. We also loved walking up into the hills away from the beach. The inside was 2 apartments and we used the first floor kitchen as our main kitchen. We had one bedroom we did not even use (total was 5 bedrooms). Beds were super comfy and hang out area upstairs inside and downstairs was great (though we spent overwhelming majority outside). So much room, we likely could have had another 7 people and not felt crowded. Showers were hot and nice. We wound up staying in and cooking some nites as it was so easy (the grill made it super easy). It was ~2 miles to downtown Rincon and the supermarket (we took the car, but someone in our party did a nice walk there and back). Rusty, the host was so responsive. We did not have any issues but he checked in with us a lot and we got to meet him on way out and shared how much we loved it here. As friends we travel a lot and this was one of the most special places we every have stayed. Loved it was self-sustaining (except for AC's) with solar, etc. The pictures do not do this justice. The vibe was relaxed, and chill. We will be coming back!

Exquisite property and location

My husband and our two adult children spent spring break in Puerto Rico and stayed at the Coralina Del Mar home. It was beautiful, impeccably kept and had everything you could ever want or need in a vacation home. First off, the property is built on a point that starts literally at the sand and there is a wonderful deck that rises to a spectacular vista with a 270-degree view of ocean and beaches -- truly amazing. The deck is furnished with great seating and hand-made lounge chairs. I enjoyed the cool breezes up there as well as the quiet. For beach-lovers, the property is literally three steps from one of the prettiest beaches around. We sat on the sand and watched the numerous surfers catch some intense waves. The property features a wonderful tiled pool to cool off when you get too warm. It has a shaded and thatched cabana with hammocks swinging with the breezes. Perfect for when you've had too much sun for the day and could use a relaxing siesta. The kitchen is fully stocked and well appointed. We stayed in the three-bedroom property and it was so comfortable. Each of our kids had their own rooom and bath. The master bedroom sports rich mahogany furniture and more than enough space to store anything and everything. We met the owners, Rusty and Kris, and they were incredibly nice and accommodating. They helped us find great snorkeling areas and they called to make sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they've put a lot of time and energy in making this property the diamond that it is. They're efforts have not gone unnoticed, that's for sure! I would recommend this property to anyone who adores beautiful views, spacious and clean accomodations and who are used to the finer things in life. This place is amazing.
