3bd/3bth vacation house located on beautiful Lake Talquin! Fish from the dock or bring your own boat. Hunting, hiking, and bike riding available in nearby state parks and national forest. Float in a nearby spring or come for an FSU football game! Amenities include: AC/Heat, washer & dryer, gas stove/oven, Internet and 3 TVs. Car and boat trailer parking space, double lot, outdoor party lights, dock, screened porch with outside eating bar and outdoor seating in yard. Towels and bed linens, paper products, microwave, coffee maker, pantry items, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, outdoor grill, toaster, corn hole and board games.

Wonderful vacation spot

A great vacation spot. The setting is very quiet and private and there is much to see in the surrounding area. The owner was very responsive to my few questions. I will definitely consider returning.

Amazing host, perfect getaway!

Words and pictures don't do this place justice. We had an incredible stay, and everyone had the best time. Everything from the house's layout to the amazing location made for a vacation we will remember forever. I can't say enough good things about the host, property, and location. We feel grateful that this house like this is available to rent. We are already planning for our next visit to Lake Talquin! Thanks so much for everything!

Great property away from it all

In town for family weekend at FSU. The Fishinn is just off the beaten path but close enough to campus. We loved the sunrises. Extremely quiet and tranquil. The rental is well equipped with everything needed to cook and enjoy family dinners. The views are the best. Great property!

Perfect house in the perfect place with the most perfect views. Boat ramp less than 2 mins away was a huge plus. We will continue to go back every year!

Gorgeous backyard!

It's a clean 3 bedroom fishing cottage on an insane plot overlooking the lake. Great area to relax and visit with your family but just make sure you bring everything with you so you don't have to leave!

Fishing and Family

The home was much larger than expected! There was plenty of room to space out. The bunk bedroom was perfect for our preteens/teens. We had everything we needed to cook and grill. The kids were able to swim from the dock and we brought the boat so they could tube and the guys could go fishing! There are a lot of stumps in the lake so be on the lookout! The evening sunset was amazing and a wonderful ending to each day!

Tallahassee stay

Nice place but a lot of the windows there were no window shades. There was still trash under the bunk beds from before. Many spiders and the bar b que grill was falling apart and dirty. Also the refrigerator door one of the handles was missing also the outdoor lights didn’t work

Great View - Roomy home

Home is as described. View is amazing. Boat launch is very convenient. Hosts responds quickly. Caught fish from dock. Plenty of room for kids to spread out!!

Renting with a Breeze

This was our second visit to FishInn. We enjoyed the property last year and had looked forward to return. I reached out to Melissa inquiring about the property. She responded quickly and renting the property was a breeze. Melissa was kind, answered my questions, and accommodating. Renting was a pleasant experience.

Perfect spot on the lake

We like to stay on Lake Talquin when visiting out girls at FSU...easy half hour drive from campus, and this house was a great spot on the lake. It’s a very specious house, well stocked and beautifully decorated and very functional, for us and our dog. The owner, Melissa, was very helpful and reachable. Will definitely stay there again. Loved it! Thank you 😊

Wonderful place

This was a great place to stay on the lake. We have rented a lot of VRBO houses on lakes and this was one of the best. Very clean with plenty of room and comfort, both inside and outside. The view and sunsets are incredible. Plus a great yard for playing with the dogs and a pleasant neighborhood for walking. We even got a couple visits from the neighborhood white squirrel. It's a perfect lake house. Melissa was a wonderful host. When we had a problem with the grill (which was my operator error), she had a maintenance man on the way before I could text her back to tell her I figured out what I was doing wrong. Just an enjoyable visit all the way around.

Lake Talquin Fishing Trip

A Great Find !! Our group was bass and crappie fishing. The house was stocked with every thing needed to enjoy our stay. Sleeping comforts were well met. A pantry provides items you might need during a stay. What a great idea. Our group had three bass boats and plenty of room to park um. Electric was present on the screened in porch for battery charging. A fish cleaning station was was in the process of being rebuilt. Launch ramps are a short drive from the house. Lake views and sun sets from the sun porch are great !
