3bd/3bth vacation house located on beautiful Lake Talquin! Fish from the dock or bring your own boat. Hunting, hiking, and bike riding available in nearby state parks and national forest. Float in a nearby spring or come for an FSU football game! Amenities include: AC/Heat, washer & dryer, gas stove/oven, Internet and 3 TVs. Car and boat trailer parking space, double lot, outdoor party lights, dock, screened porch with outside eating bar and outdoor seating in yard. Towels and bed linens, paper products, microwave, coffee maker, pantry items, pots and pans, dishes, utensils, outdoor grill, toaster, corn hole and board games.

Fish Inn

This cottage is very comfortable and much larger than it looks from the outside. Also, great views of the Lake. Thank you for a great weekend!

Great property away from it all

In town for family weekend at FSU. The Fishinn is just off the beaten path but close enough to campus. We loved the sunrises. Extremely quiet and tranquil. The rental is well equipped with everything needed to cook and enjoy family dinners. The views are the best. Great property!

Amazing host, perfect getaway!

Words and pictures don't do this place justice. We had an incredible stay, and everyone had the best time. Everything from the house's layout to the amazing location made for a vacation we will remember forever. I can't say enough good things about the host, property, and location. We feel grateful that this house like this is available to rent. We are already planning for our next visit to Lake Talquin! Thanks so much for everything!

Great Place!

We had a great time. It was quiet and beautiful right on the water. Sunsets were amazing, and the kids had fun catching some catfish!

Great Place

Stayed with family for a wedding over July 4th. It's rustic but the owner was attentive and place was great. We all enjoyed our stay.

Perfect house in the perfect place with the most perfect views. Boat ramp less than 2 mins away was a huge plus. We will continue to go back every year!

Great quiet location

House was clean, easy check in and a great peaceful place with an amazing view. We stayed here instead of a hotel in Tallahassee and were grateful for the extra room and tranquility. It is a older home not modern at all (don’t choose this place if you need a very modern place) . It has a typical lake house feel That is rustic but clean and comfortable. We would stay here again!

Nice spot for fishing and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay at the lake in this property. We brought our boat for fishing, but also had no problem catching fish right from the dock. The house had all the creature comforts of home, including great air conditioning and an outdoor grill that we used for burgers and hotdogs. I would recommend this property if you are looking for a nice relaxing time.

Beautiful Property!

The house is in a quiet neighborhood on a lake. The house was nice, and the owner was very responsive. The house is over 30 minutes to downtown Tallahassee, and it was 40-45 minutes from our sporting event. We enjoyed our stay. It's the perfect house if you want to spend the weekend on the lake!

Great View - Roomy home

Home is as described. View is amazing. Boat launch is very convenient. Hosts responds quickly. Caught fish from dock. Plenty of room for kids to spread out!!

Great getaway

My family and I stayed here for the 1st week of our 2 week vacation. The house was pleanty big enough for 5 adults and 5 children ages 5,9,11,11,15. Kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds. Lake Talquin is beautiful, especially at sunset. It is a little ways outside of the bigger towns/cities but I really enjoyed it! The owner was great too, and quickly brought us over a propane tank when it ran out for the grill.

Great Time

The house was great. There is plenty of parking. We had a great time fishing off the dock and we caught some good fish. The boat ramp is right down the road which was great. The owner stopped by and made sure we were good to go and told us how to turn the fishing light on for some night fishing. We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

Renting with a Breeze

This was our second visit to FishInn. We enjoyed the property last year and had looked forward to return. I reached out to Melissa inquiring about the property. She responded quickly and renting the property was a breeze. Melissa was kind, answered my questions, and accommodating. Renting was a pleasant experience.

Lake Talquin Fishing Trip

A Great Find !! Our group was bass and crappie fishing. The house was stocked with every thing needed to enjoy our stay. Sleeping comforts were well met. A pantry provides items you might need during a stay. What a great idea. Our group had three bass boats and plenty of room to park um. Electric was present on the screened in porch for battery charging. A fish cleaning station was was in the process of being rebuilt. Launch ramps are a short drive from the house. Lake views and sun sets from the sun porch are great !
