Enjoy the peaceful serenity of Loon Lake from your deck. The views will soothe your soul. We have 2 kayaks available and a canoe if you wish to enjoy the lake and the beautiful fall colors of the changing leaves surrounding the lake. Our home is less than 23 minutes from Gore Mountain and 30 minutes from Lake George. The snowmobile trail system can be accessed right from our door! Hike nearby Stewart Mountain, or venture into the town of Chestertown and visit the many shops and the famous Ice Cream Parlor which serves up the most delicious breakfast and lunches and of course, yummy ice cream! This area is well known for its excellent trout fishing nearby on the Schroon and Hudson Rivers . When the lake freezes, snowshoeing on the lake is amazing.

This pristine custom home boasts 2 living rooms, 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, a bar/ hot tub room, fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, large dining room and deck off the master suite and the main living area. It is well suited to two families.

The ground floor has a living room with a futon. This room can also accommodate two cots which are available. There is a bedroom with 2 bunk beds each with a full size bottom bunk and single top bunk. The single top bunks have limited sitting up height. Suitable for children only. The bathroom has a walk in shower.
Main floor has a living room with gorgeous lake views, wrap around deck, pull out sleeper sofa, large dining room, bedroom with a queen bed, bath with shower and kitchen with new appliances. This floor has a room with a bar and a Jacuzzi that can accommodate 6 people. ( available Sept 15-May 23) . Windows surrounding the hot tub makes you feel like you are part of the outside beauty.
Top floor has a bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom .French doors leads to a private deck.

WiFi and streaming television are available free of charge.
Full size washer and dryer are available for your convenience. Bring your own sheets, towels. We can provide these items for a fee. Just ask!
PLEASE NOTE THAT JULY AND AUGUST ARE 7 night MINIMUM. 3 NIGHT MINIMUM OVER HOLIDAYS DURING THE REST OF THE YEAR.

Ski Trip

This is the second time we stayed here amd once again, we were completely happy with all the house and area had to offer. DyAnn is easy to reach and makes sure all the guests needs are met. We look forward to going back!

Lovely Loon Lake

If you are looking for a beautiful home in the Adirondacks look no further than DyAnn's place! The home is exceptional, very clean, has everything that you need for your stay, and the view of the lake is amazing! DyAnn our host was very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this home for your visit to the Adirondacks. The only down side is we didn't stay longer. We cant wait to come back. Thanks DyAnn!

Wonderful stay

A great relaxing getaway!

The house exceeded our expectations, and we had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed quiet time at the lake, but loved that we were also close to Lake George shops and restaurants. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Wonderful Getaway Home

A few coworkers/friends got together for a weekend to ski at Gore and this house was perfect. The house is tucked away, with gorgeous views of the lake and only 20mins to Gore. Perfect house for those wanting to do any activities around the town, as well as those that just want to hang out in the living room with the gorgeous views of the lake. The hot tube was great, though it is inside the many windows around it make it seem like you are outside. Overall our experience was wonderful and the communication with DyAnn could not be better. She was always prompt to respond and accommodated our request. We would definitely love to come back again! For reference, if you ask for the sheets and towels, the sheets will be left in their bags for you to put on the bed. Nothing bad, but something we were not expecting. Also, I would recommend bringing extra paper towels and toilet paper.

Great for a Gore Getaway

Loved the location on a wintery frozen lake just a quick drive to Gore! Space was nice for dividing kids and adults for night time!

Disappointed

We love the Gore mountains and visit every year , We saw the house listed and the 5 star reviews so we got exited . Children friendly they said , Sparkling clean they said , Fast responding and responsible owners . So we reserved , Once we got in there was a strange odor but could not figure out where it was coming from , We got in and had to wash all utensils as they were dusted and far from clean . I went in the fridge to arrange our food two of the shelfs where cracked and fell off in my hands . My daughter brought to my attention that they tried to put the tv on but the tv remote was not working . We had our sheets with us but when we saw the condition of the pillows we had to cover them twice and yes we where not prepared so we used some of the owners sheets they where folded on a closet . After 2 days we found out that the strange odor was gas and whoever had done the cleaning had turned the gas switch on opposite and although it said off there was still an ongoing leak . We made our best to make everything work . And didn't intend to complain as we all know things happen and we all try the best we can with what we have . And never intended to ask for our damage protection deposit back . Today we got a message with a list of all of the above and more were our doing and the house was left in above average disarray. We took away all waist (at our own expenses , as the waist location was closed on Wednesday ). no spilling , no rotten foods , no dirty dishes left behind . Thank you but no thank you!!

Great get away

We really loved this property, we enjoyed a nice weekend away. There were a ton of notes and clear directions to help you find what you needed. Hot tub was great, beds were comfortable. We will be coming back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Ideal family vacation!

This was an ideal family vacation. The home was immaculate and everything that we needed was made available to us. There were nice touches such as books and games available. Also sand chairs for adults and sand toys for little ones. The place looks exactly like the photos . The host, DyAnn , was always quick to respond by email to any questions or concerns.

Summer visit to Loon lake

We had a nice time. House is nice construction and kid friendly. Easy walk to lake with access to kayak, paddle boat and Canoe. We would be happy to return.

Beautiful Loon Lake view

Excellent experience staying at this full view of Loon Lake property! Such a treat to stay in the woods right by the lake. Great for our family with adult children. We had such a great time! Owner was very responsive and kind. Would definitely love to stay there again some year!

The house was amazing! So clean and plenty of room. It’s private amongst the other houses!

We had an excellent stay. The house has absolutely everything you need. It was very clean. The beds are firm, but comfortable. There are plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We would happily stay again!

Great spot for ADK fun

Owners went out of their way to make our dates work and were very responsive. House is great for one or more families and a great base from which to ski Gore. Only suggestion would be to stock wood on site for wood stove rather than having guests buy from local stores. We would certainly stay here again, winter or summer.

Great Relaxation Weekend

Such a laid back experience at this property. Booked it with ease to stay with my friends just to hang out and de-stress. Place was so clean, cozy and beautiful! Indoor jacuzzi room was amazing and just what we needed to recharge during the stressful times of 2020. It’s right on the gorgeous Loon Lake, stunning. Would love to stay again on-season to experience what’s around town.

Felt like home away from home

The place was exactly how it was listed. It had all the amenities of my own home. I worked remotely during the week I was there and did not have any internet issues, which was my concern prior to my trip. The hot tub was delightful at the end of the day. The view of the lake was gorgeous, especially with the fall leaves. The weather was not the best but it was quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay again.

Winter Getaway

What a beautiful house and a perfect location. My family and I stayed at the house for a few days in February. The house was very clean and had a nice Adirondack cabin feel to it. Our group was six adults and our kids ranging from 11 months old to 14 years old. Everyone had a great time. The house is up a small hill from the lake and has a perfect view of it. The kids had a blast sleigh riding right in the driveway. We did some ice fishing on the lake and caught a lot of perch and one nice walleye. The kids also loved sledding on Dynamite Hill which is free and only about 5 minutes from the house. I spoke with some of the neighbors while we were there and everyone was very friendly. The owner DyAnn was very prompt with her responses for any questions I had and made the process very easy. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone. It’s the perfect spot, close to Gore Mountain and Lake George too.
