Two story Lake home with fireplace on Roosevelt Lake overlooking a quiet bay.
Roosevelt Lake is connected to Upper Roosevelt and Lawrence lake providing enough shoreline for touring or fishing for a whole day.
One acre wooded lot with 200 feet of sandy bottom. Clean deep lake.
Huge wrap around deck, adirondack chairs, dock, fire pit, and a canoe.

Minimum age of Primary renter: 30
Owner has vast knowledge of area fishing lakes. Crappies, Walleye, Rainbow Trout, Muskies, Large and Smallmouth bass and Northerns.
Bring your boat & motor and four wheeler. Local fishing boat and pontoon boat rentals available. Canoe and paddles provided. Icefish, hike, snowshoe, cross-country ski, take a long run, or ski on new trails. Local 4wheeler club maintains an extensive trail system. Cuyuna mountain bike trails are near by.

Great site! Great Host! Deck was a treat! Nice lake!

We had a very pleasant stay! My wife/daughter would like to have it cleaner, but I thought it was fine. It's tough with the iron in the water to make sinks/showers look clean. I really enjoyed my stay!

Minnesota Oasis

Extremely quiet, lots of nature sightings. Deer, bald eagle, fox, and plenty of squirrels to see. Extra benefit of a March snowfall to watch from the all the windows with a fire in the fireplace.

Quiet winter getaway

My wife and I were looking for a quiet winter getaway and this fit the bill perfectly. Private (in the winter) with great views of the woods and lake. The owner provided complete instructions for heating and caring for the property. We'll definitely consider coming back here!

Great location for snowmobiling

Had a great time. Host Tom communicated very well. No surprises. Property is perfect up north and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. Will definitely come back to this property.

Delightful place for our much-needed rest!

First connection was with the owner - prompt, gracious, fun, informative. When we arrived, we loved the setting - wooded & great views of the lake. We felt we were sharing a family's home-away-from-home where memories have been made. Well kept, warm, inviting. And we so appreciated his welcoming our pup as well. The owner was also prompt in giving us info about the area & other towns. Although we weren't there to fish, we realized quickly that the area is a mecca for those who do, and the owner is obviously one to share helpful information in that area. Our much-needed time of relaxation was a success - grateful for the opportunity. Much thanks to the owner!

The weather was great and the water was crystal clear! The cabin has a wonderful deck and sandy beach. The owner was really nice and responsive. The cabin furniture could use some updating.

Charming older cabin on beautiful Roosevelt Lake

The owner was awesome with communication and check-in was easy. This cabin, built in the 1970’s, is cozy and has a rustic feel which is charming and pleasant. Roosevelt Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes we’ve been on. Shoreline is awesome and around the dock nice and sandy. We rented a pontoon from Olds Pontoon Rental and it was super easy. They dropped off and picked up the pontoon at the public access dock on Roosevelt. Pontooned over to the Channel restaurant for dinner, live music and ice cream. Overall, great experience and Tom was the perfect host.

Great place for a weekend getaway!

Cabin was nice and clean. Great spot with plenty of beds for family and friends. Great, quiet location. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Great Cabin and Great Host

This cabin is exactly what I think of when I think of going to the cabin. Its a super cute cabin on a great lake. There is a great dock and fire pit down a well built flight of stairs by the lakeside. The fishing was great, and there is a nice boat up restaurant right on the lake to visit as well. The cabin was clean and well maintained, the Host was outstanding in communication and extremely responsive to any questions before, or during our stay. I would suggest this cabin to anyone who is looking for a classic "up north" cabin experience. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.

Amazing cabin!

My family and I had an amazing time at Tom’s Cabin. We found it to be as described and Tom was a very responsive host. We had so much fun at the Cabin, that it has inspired us to seek out purchasing our own. But I’m afraid that everything will now be compared to it. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable Labor Day weekend.

Loons, eagles, sandy bottom lake, and great fishing

Tom was great to work with! The the lake had a beautiful sandy bottom and fish to catch just off the dock! Our kids swam for hours and we would take the canoe for evening paddles. We look forward to coming back! What a great experience and deep breath for our whole family...and pup. We were blessed with rest. Thanks! Johnson family

Great getaway

Such a quiet cabin to bring the family to! We made so many memories with the kids and pup 😊 great communication and a friendly host. Great places to eat close by, beautiful lake, shallow water off the dock for the kids to swim and play in!! Lots of sunnies to catch close by.

Wonderful cabin

We had a wonderful time in this fantastic cabin! Fun family cabin feel...quiet neighborhood...just a very great time! The elevation to the lake makes you feel almost like you are in a treehouse, with a beautiful lake view to boot!
