PONTOON INCLUDED - RELAXING FAMILY CABIN ON THE WATERS EDGE OF LAKE O'BRIEN

Bring your friends and family to beautiful Lake O'Brien in Crosslake, MN., located just 2 hours north of the Twin Cities. With all the amenities of home, this cabin has all you need to enjoy your northwoods getaway! The cabin is situated just steps from the water's edge. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a third bedroom in the lower level with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. There is one full bathroom on the main level with washer/dryer for easy access. HDTV smart TV 's on both levels and free wifi are also included. The kitchen has brand new appliances. All three bedrooms have also been recently remodeled. The cabin is perfect for up to 6 guests. We suggest a limit of 6 due to the size of the cabin and single bathroom.

The cabin is located 5 miles East of Crosslake, which has a variety of restaurants, bars, and shops to please the entire family. The lake is perfect for all types of recreational water activities or just relaxing on the dock and soaking up the sun. Bring your own boat and launch it at the new boat launch, which has parking located nearby. Take advantage of all the lake has to offer in the Winter months as well. Enjoy ice fishing on the lake or snowmobiling on the freshly groomed trails around the area. No matter the season or reason for your getaway, this cabin has everything you need to make lasting memories with friends and family!

We do keep our calendar up to date, so if you are seeing availability, then it is likely available. Please feel free to inquire with any questions you may have and we will promptly reply.

Weekly rentals are Friday to Friday. Check in is at 4:00 PM and check out is at 10:00 AM

Week at a Cabin

It was a wonderful stay! The cabin had most of everything we needed! The kids had a blast on the pontoon and had great fishing and swimming! The weather was beautiful!

Peaceful and relaxing

Loved the deck overlooking the lake and the surrounding woods. The cabin had everything we needed, and the pontoon was also clean and made our stay even better!

Family Gathering

Stayed for a week, everything was great. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was pretty much provided by the host. Pontoon was nice to have access to. Fishing was good which made our stay a lot of fun.

Swimming, Fishing, Boating Fun

Great stay on O'Brien Lake. The kids and dogs enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the clear water, and playing on the Lilly Pad right at the dock. Caught a couple nice fish on the lake. Great stay!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful week at your cabin. We had beautiful weather so we enjoyed taking the pontoon out on the lake, floating in the water, going for walks and sitting on the deck looking at the lake. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay was perfect. The lake is clean, quiet and had fish which made the anglers happy! House is clean and modern and comfortable with a large new deck over looking the shoreline. Was a great place and hope to go back!

Perfect Memorial Day weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday stay on Lake O’Brien. Weather was amazing, and the pontoon boat availability was a huge bonus. Our son loved the paddleboard and we capped off each evening with a great campfire. Thank you Chris and Steve!

Relaxing

Had a great week at the cabin. Weather was great, lake, boat, location were all wonderful. Cabin is as listed. Clean and conveniently located. Super relaxing. Will definitely book again.

Great cabin

The cabin was clean and fit our families needs. We had a blast on the pontoon and Chris was very responsive with any questions we had. The lake was a bit weedier than we would have liked so we swam off the pontoon.

Stay at Lake O'Brien

We enjoyed our short stay! Accommodations are very nice, comfy furniture, great TV for watching the U.S. Open Tennis! Well-equipped kitchen. Beautiful view, night sky magnificent and breathtaking. We relished the cozy, quiet retreat. Loved watching the pair of loons. Chris was very prompt and friendly in responding to any questions. Would definitely return.

Great as always!

Such a wonderful week that always goes too fast. Lake is not a "busy" one with tons of boats. Dock and deck are so wonderful to just sit and relax the day away. Fishing is successful too!

Birthday get away

We enjoyed the cabin and the area. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for our stay, actually more amenities than most other rental properties we have stayed in. A big plus was the pontoon. It was a very nice boat for it being a rental. Fishing on the lake was good, all varieties of fish. Campfires at night were a nice relaxing end to each day. Crosslake was a cute little town that was was only a few minutes away. The large grocery store was a plus as well as cute shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Lake O'Brien cabin in Crosslake

I spent last week at Chris' property in Crosslake. I will begin my review by saying I have already booked a week for next year. It was that good. Very clean, included every single thing we needed, fun toys, great proximity to town for ice cream, shopping, dinner, groceries...Very relaxing area - not a ton of boat traffic on the lake which I loved. The pontoon was a key part of our week and it was a beautiful boat. I can't say enough good things. Excellent week of vacation. Thanks Chris!

can't say enough about this place!

We had a WONDERFUL time at this property & hope to go back again sometime. Even w/only 1 bathroom we all survived just right; never a cold shower for any of the eight of us. Perfectly located right on the lake; kids had fun w/lilypad, playing in water was endless; even went out to sandbar. Kitchen properly supplied w/pots/pans, etc. lots of great storage for everyone. Downstairs bedroom was a hit w/the kids (bunkbeds). Really liked having not only a living room upstairs but the one downstairs was really nice to for an escape. loved the large deck & variety of chairs all over; including by the firepit. Thanks for a wonderful time!

2nd year

We love this property! We booked last year and knew we would be interested in coming back. The neighbors are all very friendly and quiet. We were worried with the 4th that it would be a week of fireworks, but it was limited to the city’s celebration and the following night a house across the lake. Chris is always very good with communication. We had some issues with the well and no water, but we kept Chris informed and he did get someone to come look at it the day we were checking out. House was clean and loaded with all the things you need so you aren’t hauling everything! One thing to consider in the future would be a retractable baby gate on the deck for small kids and maybe something in the upstairs railing due to spacing. Our oldest is expecting and that would be a consideration next year. Don’t think twice, great place to stay!

Comfortable cabin

The cabin was clean & comfortable. The area was so pretty. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked including a variety of spices. The lake was clean & clear. And surprisingly quiet. The lily pad was a hit. The pontoon so lovely. Nearly every cast off the dock produced a sunny or a perch which thrilled our 6 y o grandson & kept his daddy busy…when he wasn’t untangling the 4 y o’s line! Exactly as listed. Would recommend.
