This is the quintessential Maine cottage on a lake. The view of Heart Lake was beautiful and the cottage is located close to cute coastal towns and Acadia National Park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The lake is beautiful and clear, and the house was very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We appreciated being close to all parts of Acadia and enjoyed exploring there as well!

I can't say enough good things about this place! It's beautiful inside and out!Maine weather wasn't our friend the first two days, but having a cozy place to come back to every day was fantastic!Everything you need is there, it's super clean, the bed is sooooo comfortable we slept like babies every night!If I find myself in Maine again this will be the place I stay. I would love to get out on the lake. We are not crowd people, so having a quiet place not too far away from the places we wanted to see worked well for us.We highly recommend this as a quiet convenient, beautiful place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay as a family. We loved the lake and spent a lot of time swimming and canoeing and enjoying the views. Our only drawback was that we were right on a very busy and loud highway so we constantly heard the loud traffic of cars and trucks driving by. Otherwise we were really relaxed and enjoyed our stay very much!

House was as described in listing. Very neat, clean and well stocked with essentials. Couldn’t be more pleased with the house and location. Yes, it is on the highway but we had no problems talking and sleeping. The traffic noise was even less at night. Highly recommend!

Cozy cottage on a scenic pond

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect location for our exploration of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

The house was very clean, we really enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the pond. The host even left stuff for the kids to enjoy s’mores around the campfire.

We had a fantastic stay for the start of our honeymoon

The property is on an amazing location on the water.The house was well maintained and there was excellent information on where to go for restaurants and different things to do in the area. If we ever come back to Maine this will be a place we stay again.

Great Stay!

We wanted a home centrally located to the areas we would be visiting and this location was perfect. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the stay. We wish we could have enjoyed the beautiful yard and pond more, but we had a very busy schedule of activities and sights and were limited on time.

Relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Heart pond was beautiful and quiet. The hosts were great, even supplying coffee, waters and information about the area. I would most definitely want to stay here again. Thank you Rupert.

Even better the second time

This is our second stay at this cottage and we recommend it highly. Cottage is beautiful and well equipped for fun at the lake for all ages. Owners are great to deal with and live nearby if you need anything.

great stay in a cozy cottage on the pond

This was our home base for a few days as we explored New England. the house was great and the pond made for a nice evening swim. The light switch locations are a bit funny but we found that to be charming. Thanks for letting us stay in your place!

Lovely cottage, gorgeous setting

My husband, daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Host is easy to communicate with and clearly wants you to enjoy your stay. Property is warm, clean and inviting. Setting is so pretty and peaceful. It is a bit close to the road, so you will hear cars/trucks, but that was not a major issue to us. Lots to do on/near the property, and plenty more if you venture out! Would happily stay again!

Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. Our host thoughtfully provided bottled water, coffee, condiments, spices, etc. We loved sitting by the lake and having the use of kayaks. kayaks

This house was a dream, the location was perfect, the house was very clean, it had everything we needed! The yard is where we spent all our time when we were there! Rupert was great l, he was so understanding when we asked to extend our trip an extra day do to a family member getting sick on day 1 and our 1st day was tied up with that. We will definitely be coming back in the future!
