This quiet little cabin in the woods offers a big front porch where you can watch the sun set over Blue Hill Bay! The cabin is a brand new build. With a short walk through a wooded trail you arrive at a private family beach for swimming, fires, and walking trails! Located 50 minute drive to Acadia National Park it allows you to enjoy the park for the day and then relax away from the crowds at night!

This place is really special. Wish we booked for longer. The house is so relaxing and the path to the secluded beach with calm waters, gorgeous views and rocky shores was the best part. The kids spent hours looking at all the unique and interesting rocks, watching birds, and looking for seals.

Every year we do a week long vacation in Maine. This was by far one of our favorite stays. The location is extremely private and beautiful. We had deer in the yard every morning and every evening with a rabbit or 2 hopping across. We caught a couple stripers at the boat launch right up the street and a bunch of small mouth bass at a pond about 15 minutes away. Extremely relaxing and beautiful week.

Our stay in Maine was absolutely wonderful! Our hostess was incredibly kind and sweet! Everything we needed was provided and more. This property was secluded and quiet but close to everything you need in Ellsworth. It is about an hour drive to Acadia National Park but it well worth the drive. Our family enjoyed the beach access that comes with the property and we spent two whole days just enjoying the beach. We would highly recommend this property and the hostess to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

This cabin was perfect! It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. Eating breakfast on the porch every morning while surrounded by nature and birds calling was such a calming way to start the day. The private beach a short walk down the path was amazing. We went swimming a few times during our week. We saw porpoises, seals, and loons right from the beach! Deer came to visit the house a few times during the early morning and evening. We had campfires almost every night at the house and on the beach, which was extra special! Ellsworth is a short trip away and Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were not too far, we visited a few times during our stay. This cabin is probably our favorite place we have ever stayed, we highly recommend it!!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and spacious, and the outdoor areas were amazing. We enjoyed s’mores by the firepit and walking a short way to the water front. It took us about an hour to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but we appreciated the quiet cabin after our day trips.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seashell hunting at the private beach! We spent a lot of time at Acadia National Park and towns around there, all less than an hour away. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Cabin Stay in Coastal Maine

It was a great stay. The location was perfect for our needs. We were looking for a secluded cabin to stay while we mainly went hiking through Acadia.The place was clean and stocked well with dishes and basic cooking equipment. The beach access was also a plus - you are maybe a quarter mile away from the coast.Heather was a great host, even reaching out through the stay checking if we needed more linen.

Peaceful escape

We booked this for part of Maine trip and loved it so much we asked to extend it 2 additional days. The beach was secluded and sunsets amazing. Heather thought of everything. I would come back again.

My partner (Tim) and our two boys (Tommy and Liam) love to spend time exploring the woods, swimming at the beach and roasting marshmallows over a beach fire! It is a quiet spot with a relaxing front porch with an ocean breeze! We are so excited to share this special place with you!
