Second time staying here and it was fantastic again! Heather has everything that you need to have a comfortable stay and feel at home. It's always clean, tidy, and well stocked when we arrive. The water is always hot, which is important when you have 6 people who need to shower after long days of hiking in Acadia! Super quick drive to Ellsworth and not much further to get onto Mt. Desert Island.

A very quiet place centralized to everything. If you wanting that vacation where it’s easy to get everywhere yet avoid the larger crowds you left back home, this is the place. Plenty of walking and exploring trails as well as just a short hike to the water and the beech. Seclusion in the trees that were themselves beautiful. The cabin was what I envisioned my retirement perfect place. Definitely a 5-star location. Heather was very communicative and exceeded all expectations. Would certainly come back here again and again.

This place is really special. Wish we booked for longer. The house is so relaxing and the path to the secluded beach with calm waters, gorgeous views and rocky shores was the best part. The kids spent hours looking at all the unique and interesting rocks, watching birds, and looking for seals.

I really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. Very relaxing. I highly recommend this property if you just want to get away from it all and enjoy the beach. I will say the drop down to the beach is steep in a spot and so elderly or disabled individuals need a plan to get down there. Wheelchairs won't work. We carried my son so it wasn't a big deal just a heads up. Owner is super nice.

I can't say enough about the cabin and Heather's hospitality. My family of 5 was visiting from Michigan. I asked her opinion on location, activities, restaurants, etc and not only was Heather extremely helpful but I appreciated her honest responses. Besides the obvious gorgeous scenic spots, she recommended Reel Pizza for a movie & pizza night with the kids and it was such a hit! And the sunset at the cabin? Ugh, gorgeous. Our Maine/Acadia trip was unforgettable and I'm so glad I found Heather and this cabin because it only helped to make the trip that much more special. Thank you!

Every year we do a week long vacation in Maine. This was by far one of our favorite stays. The location is extremely private and beautiful. We had deer in the yard every morning and every evening with a rabbit or 2 hopping across. We caught a couple stripers at the boat launch right up the street and a bunch of small mouth bass at a pond about 15 minutes away. Extremely relaxing and beautiful week.

Our stay in Maine was absolutely wonderful! Our hostess was incredibly kind and sweet! Everything we needed was provided and more. This property was secluded and quiet but close to everything you need in Ellsworth. It is about an hour drive to Acadia National Park but it well worth the drive. Our family enjoyed the beach access that comes with the property and we spent two whole days just enjoying the beach. We would highly recommend this property and the hostess to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

This cabin was perfect! It was quiet, peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. Eating breakfast on the porch every morning while surrounded by nature and birds calling was such a calming way to start the day. The private beach a short walk down the path was amazing. We went swimming a few times during our week. We saw porpoises, seals, and loons right from the beach! Deer came to visit the house a few times during the early morning and evening. We had campfires almost every night at the house and on the beach, which was extra special! Ellsworth is a short trip away and Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor were not too far, we visited a few times during our stay. This cabin is probably our favorite place we have ever stayed, we highly recommend it!!

My family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and spacious, and the outdoor areas were amazing. We enjoyed s’mores by the firepit and walking a short way to the water front. It took us about an hour to get to Bar Harbor/Acadia, but we appreciated the quiet cabin after our day trips.

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. It was very clean and the perfect size for us. We enjoyed seashell hunting at the private beach! We spent a lot of time at Acadia National Park and towns around there, all less than an hour away. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Another amazing stay!

This is our 2nd year in a row of staying at this amazing cabin, and we’ve already booked for next year. I think that’s enough of a review to say you will not find a better place to stay in this region of Maine!

Cabin in the woods

We loved the quiet location. Place was spotless, all the comforts of home, the owner had all the questions we needed in a folder to help us. Very cute cabin.

Old couples weekend
