Piece of Heaven on Toddy Pond.
Stay comfortably in this cozy cottage in Orland, Maine. This 2-bedroom plus sleeping loft cottage sleeps 6. The bedrooms feature 1 queen bed and 1 full bed and a loft with two twin beds for ensuring a brilliant night's sleep for all guests. Wheelchair accessible if needed. Heating and AC is ready to warm the cottage on chilly evenings or cool down mid-summer. Complimentary fast wi-fi is provided for guests to answer those emails in between floating in the pond or toasting marshmallows at the campfire, firewood is provided. Enjoy kayaks a canoe and life jackets which are all included with the rental. Guests have access to a fully stocked kitchen and a propane grill for meal prep. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water. The deck has seating options for the whole group! This property is central to Castine, Blue Hill, South Surry, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, and Acadia National Park.

We loved our stay here. The adorable cabin is perched on Toddy Pond, which is a beautiful lake. The cabin was immaculate, very clean and nicely appointed. The beds and common areas were all very comfortable. We had a couple of questions and the hosts replied immediately and were very helpful. I highly recommend staying here!

We loved this place! Just as expected. Right on the water at Toddy Pond. Loved sitting on the deck. The place was very clean. If we are ever in the area again I would love to come back.

We had a fabulous 2-week stay at this lovely cottage on Toddy Pond. Brenda and Ralph were great hosts - there when you needed them, but never obtrusive. The cottage is small, perfect for 2 people, cozy for 4 or more. Kids would love the small loft area above. We were thankful for the AC (an unusual bonus in a Maine cottage) which came in handy on some muggy nights. The fact that there was a canoe and 3 kayaks available was great - we loved paddling around the lake. Our dog loved swimming in the lake too. The location is great as well, since it’s about 20 minutes from Ellsworth, Blue Hill, and Bucksport. Highly recommend!

Cabin was clean in a great location and well appointed. The furniture with the recliners was very comfortable. The welcome basket was a great touch.

Wonderful cabin very private and quiet. Had everything we needed. Ralph the host was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions we may have had. Will definitely be back.

Peaceful

We had a wonderful stay! Our only disappointment was we couldn't stay longer! The amenities were amazing and the lake was extremely quiet and peaceful. The hosts left a basket of smores supplies and plenty of firewood for us to enjoy in the evenings! The property was spotless and easy to access. We are already talking about when we can come back! Just beautiful!

My husband and I travel at least once or twice a month. This is the first place that we have stayed where I feel like the host really considers the family that is staying in their home like some one they know. Little touches of consideration go along way! I absolutely loved the property. The view of the water was perfect inout down time. Not too far from the park and great places to eat close by. 10 out of 10 in my book ! I will look for it again when I travel up to Maine !

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property, and about our host! We visited with two kids and a dog and every single one of us loved our visit.The cottage has many modern comforts (really quick wifi -- we worked remotely part of the week, smart tvs, appliances in wonderful condition, really hot water) just feet from Toddy Pond. All four of us enjoyed running out to the dock to fish in the mornings. We caught gigantic sunfish, many largemouth bass (one 16") from the dock, and even more bass from the kayaks (but we didn't even feel the need to paddle out most days). Even on a day that was mostly rain, we were so comfortable and warm in the cottage. How relaxing!I will miss my morning and evening walks on the gravel road with our dog, waking to the calm lake waters, the gorgeous views at night, and the sounds and sights of the wildlife (loons calling is now one of my favorite sounds).Ralph let us know that they're close by should we need anything, which was comforting, but true to the statement in our property details, he gave us our privacy!I have literally no complaints about our stay. We will definitely return in the future!

We loved this property! Such a treasure. So peaceful and quiet, almost didn’t see anyone our whole time there. The property was very clean and well kept. Had all the amenities we could think of. It was tough to leave.

The home was very clean and exactly what was listed. The welcome basket was such a nice touch! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and such. We enjoyed the deck and quietness of the area. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
