Sited in rich agricultural countryside above the unspoilt valley of the Ombrone river the villa commands an uncontanimated view of nearby vineyards, distant farmhouses and castles which line the horizon. Buonconvento, the nearest town at 4 kilometres on an asphalted road provides for all needs. Siena is 29 kilometres to the north up the Cassia, the old consular roman road.
The villa is set back from the main road which carries minimal traffic by a parking area and entrance court. On the southern private side the loggias, living-room, garden and pool open to the sun and view. Two lower buildings frame the entrance court and lead to the main building which houses the living spaces on the ground floor and five bedrooms on the first, all with ensuite bathrooms, for a total of ten beds. The entrance court is framed by two lower buildings, housing on one side a separate guest suite, and on the other a garage and utility room with a separate service entrance to the kitchen. The front door opens onto a hall with doors and windows which onto the loggia and from which a staircase leads to the first floor. The property is air-conditioned throughout by a central system feeding individual fan-coil units. The interior is enriched by separate room colour schemes in red, umber and green, reflected in the colour of travertine inserts in the floors with ceilings in chestnut beams and joists, and bathroom claddings in mosaic and travertine. A paved and pergola-protected area for deckchairs and tables is set in the lawn which divides the house from the pool, (15 metres by 5), seasonal opening.

A large utility-room giving off the kitchen and the service entrance and garage provides a washing-mchine, a sink, and furniture and equipment for ironing. Upstairs two double bedrooms with ensuite bath (one with Jacuzzi tub) and two bedrooms with two single beds. Additional double bedroom in the ground floor annex. Thus five bedrooms all with ensuite baths, sleeping ten.
Prices are inclusive of all consumption of water, gas, electricity, bathroom and kitchen linen, use of the pool, seasonal opening. Free wi-fi connection. Extra charges on site: in winter heating according to consumption, air conditioning in summer, baby cot on request (only one available) plus high chair (only one available) on request, pets stay (max 3), security deposit, cleaning extra on request, cook service on request, wood for fireplace on request, tourist tax. Final cleaning is included if the house is left in good condition, otherwise it will be deducted from the return of the deposit.
