The property was located in a beautiful spot with stunning scenery, and is just as pictured and described in VRBO. The house was beautifully set up, and the kitchen was great. We enjoyed eating our breakfast and several dinners out on the deck, which was incredibly peaceful...especially in the evenings! Enjoyed the pool each day after exploring many of the hilltop towns in the area. Jennifer our host provided us with very useful information about the surrounding area and towns re grocery shopping, restaurants etc. The communication with both Jennifer and Jo (the caretaker) was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.Diana

Wonderful stay in the Tuscan countryside! We spent a week here with our 3 teenage children and it was the perfect blend of relaxing by the pool and visiting nearby beautiful hilltop towns (Montalcino, Pienza and Montepulciano) along with Sienna, Communication about our arrival with Jo was very easy and we loved the welcome basket of goodies on arrival! The villa had everything we needed - pool towels, umbrellas, loungers - along with dishwasher and laundry powder, olive oil, herbs and spices. The pool is a great size for the size of villa and the views are gorgeous. The BBQ was really useful too. Would thoroughly recommend a holiday here!

Unforgettable Tuscan Getaway at Villa Montisi!We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Villa Montisi. The villa itself was exceptionally clean, spacious, and provided the perfect backdrop for our time in Tuscany.As people who love to cook, we were especially impressed by the well-equipped kitchen—it had everything we needed to prepare wonderful meals using local ingredients. Outside, the pool was immaculate, and relaxing by the water with exquisite, sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside was a true highlight of our trip.The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet just minutes away from fantastic restaurants in both San Giovanni d'Asso and Montisi. To topitall off, the owners were extremely responsive and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Jo, the on site host, gave us a warm welcome and showed us around the Villa.We couldn't have asked for a better Tuscan experience and highly recommend Villa Montisi to anyone visiting the area!

Peaceful getaway

Enjoyed 10 relaxing days at Villa Montisi, a very clean and comfortable property with a lovely pool and garden. Also an excellent base to explore the local towns and stunning scenery (with Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Siena all within easy reach) and to enjoy the wonderful food and wine the region has to offer. Thoroughly recommend.

Great location, easy to see the Val d’Orcia at your leisure

We had stayed at this property for years before Jennifer purchased it. And do hope to continue. We appreciate the effort and care to details she put into updating it and providing an excellent experience. This property is well located to see numerous villages in the area.

We enjoyed 9 fabulous nights at the Villa, five with our daughter, her husband and our two grand-children. The views speak for themselves. And it was wonderful to come back to a refreshing pool after visiting local towns. Jo, the local property manager, was very helpful and enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

The property was outstanding! All rooms were very clean and comfortable. The area was ideal for exploring Tuscany, and everything we wanted to do and see was within a 2 hour drive. Most of what we wanted to see and do was within 1 hour. The pool was well maintained and very refreshing. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, which allowed individuals to set their own comfort level. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to cook many meals using local ingredients from the farmers markets in the area. The largest grocery store (COOP) was a 20 minute drive and a smaller one about 5 minutes away. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and answered all our questions and made recommendations for restaurants, wineries, and points of interest in the area.We spent one month at the villa and were extremely happy with our choice. We would HIGHLY recommend this villa for anyone traveling to the area. We will definitely stay here anytime we travel to this part of Italy.We want to thank the hosts for providing us with this wonderful accommodation that allowed us to enjoy our amazing trip.John and Shar

A estadia foi maravilhosa! O lugar é lindo, a vista é deslumbrante. O Joe, que nos recebeu, foi muito amável e nos explicou tudo que precisávamos saber. A casa é muito confortável e completa. Não temos do que reclamar.

Wir können die Unterkunft "Villa Montisi" uneingeschränkt empfehlen: traumhafte Lage und Blick, alles sehr gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet. Jo, der Verwalter vor Ort, war uns ein echter und sehr netter Ansprechpartner. Der Abschied ist uns sehr schwer gefallen.
