The 'Perfect Siesta Key Getaway', this Bay Oaks garden apartment is less than 1-minute walk to the pool, the fishing pier, or the waterfront BBQ grills and picnic area. Upgraded kitchen with granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, and fully equipped kitchen opens to great room area including dining set for 4 and comfy living room area with 55 inch HDTV. Screened patio off the living room is shaded by one of the many giant oak trees. Master bedroom side has king bed, 40 inch HDTV, dresser, nightstands, and large closet; adjacent mirrored vanity area with separate toilet and full size shower room. Opposite side of condo has compact guest bedroom with queen bed, mini dresser and mini closet. No more than 4 guests and no pets allowed. Bay Oaks has tennis courts, club house with billiards, and coin laundry next to the pool. Trolley stop out front takes you to the public beach, the village, and other popular stops. You can also get to the closest beachfront (Public Access #12) a 12 min walk or 5 min bike ride; multiple restaurant, bar and shops are right there as well. The state park main beach is 8 min bike ride and the Village is about 15 min bike ride.

Excellent stay!

Close to everything we needed! Checking in couldn't have been easier. Brent was very nice and always responded right away. We rented a car, but the trolley stop was right out front. My daughter and I can't wait to come back. Highly recommend this condo. Thanks for a great vacation!

It was the perfect little condo. Brent was really responsive. Everything was clean. I think the only annoying part was having to dump out the humidifier. The pool was close and love the dock area too.

Peaceful vacation

Very nice unit in a quiet community. The pier is relaxing with chairs available. Clean and comfortable. Pool was warm and not crowded. Great owner and quick to respond. Will be back again

A very comfortable place to stay

The condo was very clean and very comfortable. I appreciated the availability of secure Wi-Fi as I was telecommuting for my job. Brent, the owner was so helpful in dealing with my emergency. If I had the chance, I would definitely rent there again.

Great place to vacation

This place was perfect for me and my adult kids!! We loved it! It was clean, neat, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Great location and absolutely loved the dock. The owner was very easy to communicate with! Had stuff for the beach and shampoo conditioner….everything needed for the kitchen! Will stay here again.highly recommended!!

Awesome vacay!

Joe & Inna: stayed September 23-29, 2023. Absolutely beautiful, cozy and clean condo supplied with all kitchen/bathroom/beach needs. Great location on Siesta key, 1 mile away from the paradise beach. I had most romantic and beautiful vacation with my beloved spouse, and we are definitely coming back! Thank you, Brent!

Perfect location

This property has all you need for a great stay in a incredible area. We welcomed the bikes and beach equipment. Plenty of towells and shampoo/ conditioner and an iron and hairdryer. This co.mplex is great value for the area, the pool is refreshing! People in the complex are so friendly. Brent was very efficient in communicating. Would highly recommend.

Good location on the Intercoastal!

Host was quickly responsive when required a few things at beginning of the stay. New appliances in kitchen which were great and comfy king size bed. Intercoastal dock was great and people very friendly. Enjoyed our charcoal bbq’s and the heated pool. Walk to beach access is about 10-15 minute walk). Took free Trolley a few times and enjoyed it. Great to have bikes to ride up and down the key!

Snowbirding

We spent the month of January 2023 in this unit. The location was great and Brent was very easy to work with. We had a couple of issues that he addressed quickly for us. I agree with a couple of other reviewers that the place could use a deep cleaning. I noticed during our stay that there were some Damp Rid bags hanging in a couple of places, but didn't think much of it until we got home and noticed a musty smell on our clothes upon unpacking. If you are sensitive to mold you might want to rethink this unit. Many thanks to Brent for his hospitality!

Place is filthy, has never been dusted, everything is stained

Unit B-61 is so dirty the grout in the tiles is dark brown and black in about 95% of the place. Every piece of furniture is stained , including bed, pillows, cushions and blankets. The wicker chairs in dinner table are crusted with dirt, food and God knows what. I’m sure this place is rented out without it ever being cleaned. What’s even more disgusting is that the owners rules that are posted on the refrigerator say to remove lines and towels and leave on the kitchen floor but NOT the blankets or quilts. To just leave them on the bed or you’ll get charged extra cleaning charges. They look and smell like they have never been washed. The oven has caked on grease and stinks. I was informed by the owner days before or trip that his wife would be coming to unit because they were replacing the stove. It was being delivered while we were renting it…Totally unprofessional and a disruption to one’s vacation. I do not understand how most previous renters have this unit positive ratings. If never seen a place this dirty. I wish I could post pictures of what this unit really looks like.

Swing and a miss….

Online photos are deceiving. Property photos and owner descriptions are the only tools renters have when choosing a property. Check in process was fine. Condo complex is older. Condo itself was deplorable. Day 1- I ended up spending 2.5 hours on the phone with VRBO and ended up staying the night at a hotel 40 min away from Siesta Key. Sent VRBO agent photos of condo condition. Stains on living room furniture coverings, stains on master room’s bedding, floors need replacing (and I when I say replacing - I mean 10 years ago they probably needed to be replaced because of so much grime that had accumulated in grout and in the divet lines of tiles), dirt in every corner of baseboards, found 2 bugs in the unit, sliding glass door sticks when opening/closing, needed a paint job because of markings on walls and doors. VRBO ended up contacting owner and stating that he was on his way over to the unit to speak with me. I felt extremely uncomfortable with this proposed resolution because I was a female traveling alone. The owner was not polite whatsoever; he basically called me “special” because he stated he only had issues with about 1 in every 50 guests. I guess I am special because I do expect basic cleanliness of places I plan to sleep in! I texted owner about an hour after he left to tell him that I had left the condo and was not returning. We had agreed on a refund but he did not refund me for the first night (even though I didn’t stay there). He states that I had showered and used towels and I guess that justified him not reimbursing me for that night even though I had to pack everything back up and drive 40 min and pay $125 for a night’s stay at a hotel. And just to clarify, I used maybe 2 wash cloths and did not shower. There’s no way I was showering in that condo. I wouldn’t even walk barefoot in there, much less shower. Owner’s email to me post departure was equally as condescending and rude as our face to face meeting, which wasn’t surprising to me. Needless to say, I will not be renting anymore places on VRBO in the near future. I had booked many places on this web site but this experience was horrible. A day of my vacation wasted by being on hold with VRBO, packing, unpacking, packing again and driving 40 min away from my beach vacation site, only to land in Punta Gorda for the remainder of my time in Florida. FYI - my new place in PG was absolutely spotless and I had zero issues. Best of luck to this unit in Siesta Key….it needs major help.

Enjoyable stay!

We enjoyed our stay. Our host Brent was very responsive and communicated with us very well and was very nice. Bonus were having bikes included with the rental! Manager of Bay Oaks was on site and was very helpful! Pool was very nice also!

We arrived and the property was very clean. Property manager was very responsive to questions I had before my stay. It’s a small space but it worked perfectly for what we needed it for!

15 minutes de marches pour l'accès à la plage. De chance qu'il y a un charriot pour transporter les parasols et chaises de plage. Bbq à briquettes au bord de la baie avec des tables à pic-nic à l'ombre.

Golf and many other tourist attractions are within short driving distance depending on your preferences. All in all, this is one of the best beach vacation spots in the world.
