The house was very comfortable and spacious for our crew that consisted of our 3 daughters, 2 sons in law and 2 grandchildren. The kitchen was well equipped. Being right on the lake was a plus and there was a canoe, a kayak and a standup paddle board for our use.

Lovely home!

Siblings and spouses spent a few days here and it was wonderful! The house and host's are great, the area is just beautiful! Had the greatest time!

Beautiful and serene

We had a wonderful time and the property was clean and comfortable with plenty if room. The lake was beautiful and Denis and Lori couldn't have been more accommodatingaccomisatingaccommodating highly recommend

Wonderful lakeside home

A great house. Everything needed in the kitchen. Kayak, canoe and paddle board were a real plus. Perfect for a family getaway!

Beautiful view

We rented this house for my son's Commencement weekend. The view was beautiful and the hosts were fantastic. If we are ever in the area again, we hope to reserve this home.

Maine Getaway

The house was spacious in the living area's and accommodated meals and game playing with the family. The view pf the lake from the living room was amazing. The patio looking out on the lake was a great area. The location was convenient and close to grocery store and restaurants.

Annual Girls Weekend

We had an amazing weekend at Sunset Cove! The weather was unseasonably warm so we were able to spend a lot of time on the patio enjoying the beautiful view of Tripp Lake which also included amazing sunsets. The amenities provided were substantial. It was great to not have to bring our own sheets and towels! Communication was great. Denis and Lori’s home exceeded all of our expectations. We hope to return in the future.

Nice, good value but not great

Almost a 5. Very clean, beautiful location, excellent communication, very comfortable layout for living, cooking and dining. This misses my best review because of the house layout. There's one bathroom on each floor so when using the two bedrooms on the main floor our friends had to go to another level to have a private bathroom. Also, the second major bedroom, main floor, had no closet. The best bathroom in the house was downstairs where there were no bedrooms.

Great place and location!

My family and I looked all over the map of Maine for the perfect vacation spot! We have relatives in the area that we wanted to be near. We also wanted to have the ability to be near a lake or river. And lastly we needed enough space for 9 or 10 people for 4 days. This place had it all! We all had room and didn’t feel like we were intruding on anyone. The hosts, Denis and Lori, were absolutely incredible. They offered to take us on their boat to see Tripp Lake at sunset the day we arrived and it was so beautiful! The house had everything we needed to be comfortable no matter the weather or temperatures, which were in the 90’s on two days and in the 40’s the other two days. Lori communicated often to make sure we had what we needed or to ask if there was anything she could help with. Our kids loved swimming and using the canoe, kayak, and paddle boards. We all enjoyed the available board games, and the ping pong table on the rainy days. This place is just a short drive from Freeport and Portland, where we went for delicious Maine cuisine. If we ever come back from New Mexico and Texas, we will be staying here! Julieanne

Great family get away

This was a great place for a family get away. Plenty of room, beautiful lake side view but also close to a gas station, grocery store, McDonald’s, Subway and Duncan Doughnuts. Would stay again!

Spacious place

An amazing property with great water views! I booked this for my staff while in town teaching a class. Everyone was comfortable, and had plenty of room to spread out.

Fabulous Time

We were here in the fall and the scenery was beautiful! We had seven adults staying here and many more visiting for family event. Everyone agreed we had a great place to stay. View was beautiful, the house was clean and it fit our needs perfectly! Owners checked to make sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

Great place, don't hesitate to book

We had a fantastic stay. The house is exactly as described and just like the pictures. All the beds we used were very comfortable. The location can't be beat. The house couldn't be any closer to the lake. We enjoyed fire-pits and dinners on the outside patio at the water's edge and sunsets from the awesome dock. The grill is great and with a supermarket a mile away, the house is the perfect place for all your meals. Would love to stay here again.

Wonderful stay

The cabin is just as described, and the area is beautiful. Plenty of room to spread out, and the beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely time.

Excellent Long Weekend

The house was lovely, clean and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The hosts were very attentive. Would highly recommend it and would love to go back there for another vacation.

Beautiful Lakeside Home

The house is modern, spacious, sparkling clean, and decorated beautifully in a nautical theme. Plenty of space for our large family! The view of the lake from the living room window is amazing and became the highlight of our weekend. The outdoor space was perfect from the patio to the dock. The huge floats quickly became a huge hit with the kids while swimming! The ping pong table was a close second! The owner Lori clearly pays attention to every detail and is lovely to chat with!
