Approx. 900 sq. ft. ground floor apartment home. 1 Bedroom , 1 bath, full kitchen with all appliances, combo living/dining area with water views of the lagoon and bay. Trundle twin beds in living room, along with a large HD TV for your viewing entertainment. Step out onto your own covered porch and stretch out on your comfy outdoor furniture. The grill is right out your back door. Enjoy 2 decks for fishing and watching our beautiful sunsets; plus we have dolphin visitors almost daily. Free use of paddle boards and kayaks for your water fun. Boat mooring available as no charge. Convenient community laundry room open 24/7 for our guests convenience.

We received excellent service while there. The owner is a very nice person! We had a new boat, first time in ocean and he was very helpful! We had a wonderful time! The place was clean and supplied with dishes, pots, utensils, towels, and bedding. The place was quiet especially at night. We eat at the Golden Coral for breakfast every morning.

quiet and relaxing

Chuck is an accommodating and gracious host. Good location only minutes from restaurants and attractions. If you like boating, kayaking and other water activities this is the place to stay.

Great Place to Stay

The property is a nice clean property right on the water. Rebecca and Chuck are great to work with - part of the reason I stayed here was how rapid they replied to questions and ease of check-in etc. I brought my bay boat down and Chuck helped me with everything I needed to have it parked right outside. Plenty of dock space and the boat ramp is less than 2 miles away. The team owns several properties of various size and price. This type of location is ideal for those who love watersports (kayak, paddle board) and chuck will let you use lots of his stuff. He let me use a couple crab pots and even helped bring the hose down do wash off the boat. The property is fairly close to a small bridge with medium traffic during the day. By 1900, it really slows down. I could not hear the traffic inside the house. My main goal was fishing, and we caught plenty of large fish - even though it was Jan 1st! I'll certainly rent here again.

Great place

Great location. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, and tackle shops. We kept our boat tied to the dock so it was very convenient for fishing. We caught tons of trout right from the dock as well. Chuck was very accommodating.

Perfect for family with boat access

This was our first vacation after having our two children. We loved the ability to launch our boat when we arrived, dock it, boat and fish as frequently as we wanted, then load it up at the end of our stay. WE WILL BE BACK! Chuck and friends were not only awesome hosts, but awesomely accommodating. Thanks Chuck!!

Thank you, Tim. We are experiencing some very serious times currently but it's families like Tim's that help us remember why we are here serving wonderful people like Tim and his family looking for a break (maybe we call it self-quarantine). Our homes are private and have close proximity parking. Bringing your own groceries allows our guests even more privacy. With simi-private BBQ and dock areas our guests are easily granted "proper social distancing". With water toys such as kayaks and paddle boarding right here many of are guest don't ever leave the resort unless they care to. Stay informed and we'll be here for your return, thank you again Chuck

Hello, I am a property owner and long time builder. I came to Florida several years ago on a major condo project and simply never left. I enjoy the wildlife and nature this area has to offer; starting with the dolphins we often see daily from our homes. We are lightly populated residential area with all the activities close at hand, including great restaurants, parks, sugar sand beaches, shopping and so much more. You'll enjoy being outdoors; boating, paddle boarding & kayaks. I get a kick out of meeting the wonderful guests that come to experience "The Hideaway". The 5 rental units on the waterfront property keep you with plenty of options as well as other units off site. Vacation and business traveler's from literally around the world find their peace here at "The Hideaway" Panama City, Florida.

Beautiful St. Andrews State Park is about 25 min drive. depending on traffic. We sit among a quiet neighborhood and our homes offer the privacy and separation from the crowds.
