'No Worries-Be Happy' is a recently redecorated NON-SMOKING 2-bedroom twin home located along the wide sandy beaches of the Chesapeake Bay in Virginia Beach, VA. 'No Worries' is the front unit. (See vrbo listing #921880 for adjacent condo if this one is not available or if you need to rent both units.)

These charming beach homes each sleep six and are ideally located directly across from a direct pathway to the beach. Rent one home for your smaller group or rent both homes for family and friends wishing to vacation together. This front unit has a large 2nd floor deck.

The beach here along the Chesapeake Bay is a secret well-hidden from most tourist visiting Virginia Beach. The surprisingly wide stretch of beach provides plenty of room to enjoy the day as you please: swimming, fishing, volleyball or simply sunbathing. The gentle surf is great for children or just relaxing on a float in the water. For early-risers, the beach offers an inspiring sunrise. The Virginia Beach Resort area is a short drive away if you want to spend a day there. Please note that we have a Family Group Policy in effect for this condo. See details below.

Family place

We loved this place. It is a short walk to the beach especially with smaller kids. The place was clean. Very close to family and friends. We plan to come back soon!

Is time to Birhinia Beach

The weather was cold so could not enjoy the beach. Picture on listing showed Keurig coffeemaker but there was not one so we had to go buy one. Property needs some definite work. Location was nice.

Great get away

Very quiet and peaceful residential area. Short walk across the street to the pathway to the bay beach. Decking is in much need of repair but everything else was clean and updated. Please be aware (because it is not disclosed in the listing) linens and towels are included-but the owners ask for you to wash, dry and fold before checking out. I have stayed at many VRBOs and Air B and Bs and never had to do this! You can also bring your own or rent from a rental company. Beach chairs and new gas grill were nice addition to make our stay comfortable . If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing experience, away from Oceanfront- this is the place for you!

Hidden gem in a quiet neighborhood across from direct access to Chic’s Beach! Just as described! Perfect for couples or a family! Would definitely rent again! Nice amenities. ⭐️

Love this place!!

This was our 2nd time staying. We LOVE the location. It is quiet, peaceful, right at the beach, but still close to stores, restaurants etc. For our family, it is perfect!

Nice place, great location

We stayed 13 days. The property was exactly as described. Directly across the street from the path to the beach. About 25 minutes from downtown Norfolk, and 20 minutes from most everything else. We stayed in January/February so it was very quiet. We will rent from this vendor again.

Wonderful access to the beach

The house is just as described. It was comfortable. The best amenity is the beach access immediately across the road from the house. It was wonderful to take long walks on the beach and easily return home.

Beautiful Neighborhood & Beach Location

Location in proximity to the beach was great, especially when you have young ones to tote as well. The beach itself was very clean and quiet, and certainly off the beaten path. The housing was good too, I enjoyed the downstairs open floor plan,outside shower and big bathtub. The porch/decking all around the house is definitely due for some updating, there is old wood that is splitting and nails that are starting to come up. I also felt the living room furniture and bedroom mattresses are due to be updated as well. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back again for sure.

Unfortunate Circumstances. Fantastic Owners.

During our stay, the HVAC system stopped working. We were there in the first week of August and obviously could have really used a reprieve from the sun and heat. These are the unfortunate circumstances. The positive takeaway here for everyone else thinking of booking is that you have great owners. They both live very close to the unit which allowed them to respond to our calls quickly. They were quick to get a technician out to service the HVAC unit quickly. They did so twice during our stay and had temporary fixes in place both times. They event went to the effort of purchasing portable AC units and installing them directly themselves. I couldn't have been more happy with the effort they put in to accommodate the situation. There was never a need to escalate anything or get upset because they were true professionals, which isn't something you always find with a short term rental. The unit is also in the perfect location. Beach access is literally across the street. They had some beach gear out back in the shed and a gas grill that started up with the push button immediately! (They almost never work in my experience). There are some really great spots to visit around the are without needing to stay or even visit the boardwalk area of VA Beach. We will happily stay in this unit again when we return to chic's beach

Great house & great location

We loved our stay here! The house was clean & the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a tv in each room & the bath tub was great. The beach access across the street was convenient & there are grocery stores & restaurants nearby.

Great stay with a few adjustments needed

The home was lovely but we could not turn on any over head lights but the one in the kitchen. Check in was easy and convenient but checkout was too early having to do the laundry before leaving. Had to wake very early after running marathon just to wash sheets and towels and run dishwasher. Was not aware of this until after payment given. Would still recommend to friends.

Fantastic location!

We stayed here for 5 weeks in off-season. So close to the beach, many restaurants, markets. Loved the family-oriented neighborhood. The duplex could use some TLC but the location makes up for any faults. Would stay here again with great enthusiasm.

Lovely place. Close to beach. Easy walk down a short path. Cute house. Nice comfy beds. Easy to find. No real downsides. Lovely area and I would return!

BUYERS BEWARE OF EXTRA EXPENSES

We loved the place. That said they didn't mention on the VRBO advertisement that the sheets for all beds and the towels that are provided needed to be washed and dried by the check out time (10 AM). Most people on vacation are not there to get up extra early to do the laundry for what is suppose to be a hospitality business. We found out about that when we received the email with the details of the place 3 weeks before our arrival. Also there is a list of items you need supplied like toilet paper, paper towel, bath soap, laundry detergent and more, except for 1 complimentary toilet paper roll and enough laundry detergent to wash the linens and the towels. Also in this email we were told that we can bring our own sheets and towels or rent them. We opted to rent these items. The name of the rental company is Beach Linen and Leisure ( formerly Marianne Linen and Equipment Rental). We ordered sheets for the upstairs queen, double and twin beds plus 5 sets of towels, 5 beach towels, 1 set of kitchen towels and since I didn't know if we need blankets I order that too. That cost me $140. There are beach chairs available on the backyard shed. Once we got there we discovered that they had a gas grill on the back that is shared with the other unit, I think that as a plus but is not mentioned in the advertisement. We also found out that if you are there on Tuesday the trash and recycle has to be taken out to the street for pick up on Wednesday, we were not there those days but I thought I mention it. They also ask to empty the inside trash cans and run the dishwasher before leaving. The place was clean and comfortable. The staircase is a little open on the bottom part for smaller kids, also the handrail is too short and there is no support on the upper and the bottom of the stairs for older people with and people with physical challenges. Also the bathtub is a tall tub, about 21 to 22 inches, again hard for older people to get in or out. We did very much enjoy the place but think people need to be aware of the details that are not mentioned up front. We would have paid more for full service, in fact this the first VRBO experience that it was not included.

AMAZING location!!!

Steps from the beach and a beautiful beach it is!!! It was a total fluke that we found this house and it was PERFECT. Two sisters meeting 1/2 way between South Carolina and New York for a girls weekend get away!! The house is super clean and very comfortable!!! The best part is that you walk out the front door, across the street and you are seconds from the beach!! This is a great beach because it doesn't get too crowded and it's great for young kids who want to play in the water but parents who don't want the waves to be to dangerous!!! I hope we are able to return some day!! Loved that it was away from the hustle of the boardwalk but close enough for an evening visit. Also, great restaurants in the area ... definitely go to Blue Cow for the ice cream!!! Thanks for letting us visit your home!!! Much needed weekend relaxation!!
