Amazing stay

We really enjoyed our stay here !! By far the best beds we have had in a rental !! Very clean and cozy home in a great location away from all the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk!! We will definitely be back !!!

Very good location

The condo was in an ideal location. Close to the boardwalk and restaurants. It was very well stocked to have a good beach vacation. Perfect place for a family vacation

A gem in an excellent location!

Our family stay at this property was perfect; I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Very clean, perfectly stocked in all the spaces; really anything you would need while at the beach. The Host was easy to communicate with and timely. Loved the location: end of boardwalk, next to inlet with the easiest, shortest walk to a very wide pretty beach. We will most definitely book this property in the future.

Girls Trip

I would highly recommend this property to my friends and relatives. The place was spacious and extremely clean. Immaculate, great location, fantastic host, comfortable and well maintained.

Came down for a wedding in Smithfield and made a long weekend out of it. This townhome was fantastic. Host was awesome even offered us umbrellas to use at the beach. The home was immaculate and comfortable. Great location across from the beach and boardwalk. Many restaurants and bars in walking distance with the trolley there as well. Loved it!! Thank you

Awesome Location plus parking

We snagged this property last minute when another family canceled and we feel we truly hit the jack pot. We are a family of 5 (6, 4, 21 months) and the layout of the house was perfect. We set up the pack n play in the master bathroom which was dark and quiet. Our other two loved having their own room next to our room and my husband and I loved having the space downstairs to drink wine and relax after they went to bed. We walked to the trolley stop, a playground and the beach in under 5 minutes. It was perfect for relatively quick trips to all of these places. Miriam was so responsive and the place was in great shape. It’s tucked away from the craziness of the boardwalk. Huge plus to have two covered parking spots. We will definitely be back. Thank you Miriam!

Steps from the Beach!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while attending a wrestling tournament for the weekend. Miriam’s place was perfect. Seconds from the beach! Being from out of town not having to bring beach towels or chairs was so helpful!! The two bedrooms are great sizes and the living room was big enough to fit 3 blow up mattresses (which Miriam has filled up for us prior to check in). We had asked for early check in and because the place was available she gave absolutely no issues with that. She would to see how things were going and if there was anything we needed. She made herself available at all times and was just a simple phone call away. We will definitely be back again!!!

Home Away From Home

Our stay in Dam Neck was quite enjoyable and relaxing. If you're a family looking to stay within a more relaxed location, with an oceanfront view, then this property will work perfectly. The townhouse property has views of both the Atlantic and marina and is tucked away on a street of its own. It's literally one block from the boardwalk and within walking distance of several restaurants. The property is really cozy and the host, Miriam, was super hospitable and checked in with us during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. For the actual property, it is quite cozy and equipped with all essential needs, such as towels, spare linen and pillows, beach chairs, etc. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked if you want to prepare food. The floor plan is open, neat, clean, spacious and very much kid-friendly. We are an autism family, so the open space and simple, yet comfortable, furniture and décor yielded an easy transition for us and felt quite homey. It was also an added bonus having two balconies – one is on the main level, accessible from the living room, and there is a second accessible from either bedroom. Both balconies are equipped with chairs and are perfect for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or evening tea. The second level has two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms that would comfortably suit a family of four, or two couples. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and do plan to reserve the property again in the future.

Fun in VA Beach!

Honestly it was a perfect getaway. This trip to Virginia Beach was our best yet. Right from the start we felt welcomed by our host. Everything was exactly as described with extras along the way. We planned to eat out, but instead made breakfast lunch and dinner in our home away from home. That allowed us to indulge a bit in the local night life that was located with really cool bars within 8 blocks on Atlantic Ave. (love the Instagramable sweet shop) I was able to let out teenage daughter and her friend venture out to the beach alone. We actually used the binoculars provided to keep watch over them while sipping sangria from a punch bowl our balcony lol. Our minute walk to the beach brought us face to face with surfers, dolphins, and fisherman which goes to show how busy it was even in April. We had a slight injury roller blading and sent a note to the host about where we could get some alcohol and band aids. She directed us to the cabinet in the master bedroom where we found little first aid kit that did the trick. One thing I especially appreciated was that they even had toys for my sisters little one to play with when we hosted my Mom’s 80th birthday. The kite festival was the best free entertainment. We will be back.

I could not recommend this rental more! If you are on the fence, do it, you won't regret it! I have been coming to Virginia Beach for quick getaways from the city for years. Until now, I had never found a place I enjoyed staying. Many hotels on the beach are somewhat dated but with high price points (especially during the summer). This location and space make this a true gem worth every penny! This rental answers all issues you typically experience when visiting the beach! It is oceanfront, spacious, clean, and features a full kitchen, three bathrooms, PARKING, and an outdoor shower to rinse off before heading inside! I was even able to work during my stay! Unfortunately, I forgot an HDMI cord, and the Host, Miriam, kindly let me borrow one! The WIFI connection was great, and with the beach so close, I could go for a run on the boardwalk before my workday started and then make it out to enjoy the sun and water after the workday. I would also specifically recommend this rental for anyone who doesn't want to carry beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc., for long distances. The only confusing part of the booking is after you book, VRBO sends an email in the title; that says' Dam Neck,' but this location is right off the boardwalk (you can see the water directly across the street from the living room windows). Lastly, for reference, we were a pretty large group. We slept two in each room and then used an air mattress provided by the host in the living room. I am already planning another girls' trip with five adults and a baby!!

Perfection near but far enough away

Perfect end unit townhouse with walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach and more. Clean, up-to-date appliances and comfy beds. We will definitely look to this place first in the future.

Spring break getaway

Decided in a space of 5 days that it might be a good idea to come out to Norfolk and Virginia Beach for Spring break with the family. Scrambled at the last minute to find an ideal Place to stay and Miriam's didn't disappoint. We had everything that we needed and our host was always responsive and accommodating.

Perfect for a family beach vacation

It was our first VRBO stay, and we really enjoyed it! First, Miriam was an excellent host, bringing peace of mind during our stay. She was local and available, communicated as needed, bought a thermometer when my daughter became sick, and was overall friendly and helpful. The condo itself was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious and well appointed with many at-home conveniences. I liked the updates and cleanliness, the good water pressure, and the quality cookware that didn’t leave flakes in our food. My kids liked the beach umbrella and toys, the outdoor hose rinse, and the Disney channel. The condo location was great. It’s a block from the beach near a relatively quiet end section along the boardwalk. My kids took surfing lessons after noticing the nearby surfing camps going on. We went to the beach a couple times each day, and we liked walking along the boardwalk in the evening. Overall, we enjoy Virginia Beach because the water has good waves, isn’t too deep, and there are active lifeguards on duty.

This is the most unique property on the oceanfront. We have views of both the ocean and the marina. We can walk from our front door onto the boardwalk for 3 miles and never encounter a car. At the extreme south of the beach, there is fishing, surfing, shopping, and dining without the chaos. There is no need to drive with something for everyone. Fully outfitted gourmet kitchen, large capacity washer/dryer, larges screen TVs, comfortable leather recliners, and so much more.
