It was a nice get away. The listing mentions office with bed and there was no office. We were short a bed but it was ok.

Amazing stay

We really enjoyed our stay here !! By far the best beds we have had in a rental !! Very clean and cozy home in a great location away from all the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk!! We will definitely be back !!!

Our stay was fine. Online the advertisement showed an office with a single bed. The place wouldn’t sleep 8 We had to use recliners to sleep 7

Awesome Location plus parking

We snagged this property last minute when another family canceled and we feel we truly hit the jack pot. We are a family of 5 (6, 4, 21 months) and the layout of the house was perfect. We set up the pack n play in the master bathroom which was dark and quiet. Our other two loved having their own room next to our room and my husband and I loved having the space downstairs to drink wine and relax after they went to bed. We walked to the trolley stop, a playground and the beach in under 5 minutes. It was perfect for relatively quick trips to all of these places. Miriam was so responsive and the place was in great shape. It’s tucked away from the craziness of the boardwalk. Huge plus to have two covered parking spots. We will definitely be back. Thank you Miriam!

Very good location

The condo was in an ideal location. Close to the boardwalk and restaurants. It was very well stocked to have a good beach vacation. Perfect place for a family vacation

A gem in an excellent location!

Our family stay at this property was perfect; I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Very clean, perfectly stocked in all the spaces; really anything you would need while at the beach. The Host was easy to communicate with and timely. Loved the location: end of boardwalk, next to inlet with the easiest, shortest walk to a very wide pretty beach. We will most definitely book this property in the future.

Perfection near but far enough away

Perfect end unit townhouse with walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach and more. Clean, up-to-date appliances and comfy beds. We will definitely look to this place first in the future.

Steps from the Beach!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay while attending a wrestling tournament for the weekend. Miriam’s place was perfect. Seconds from the beach! Being from out of town not having to bring beach towels or chairs was so helpful!! The two bedrooms are great sizes and the living room was big enough to fit 3 blow up mattresses (which Miriam has filled up for us prior to check in). We had asked for early check in and because the place was available she gave absolutely no issues with that. She would to see how things were going and if there was anything we needed. She made herself available at all times and was just a simple phone call away. We will definitely be back again!!!

Spring break getaway

Decided in a space of 5 days that it might be a good idea to come out to Norfolk and Virginia Beach for Spring break with the family. Scrambled at the last minute to find an ideal Place to stay and Miriam's didn't disappoint. We had everything that we needed and our host was always responsive and accommodating.

Perfect for a family beach vacation

It was our first VRBO stay, and we really enjoyed it! First, Miriam was an excellent host, bringing peace of mind during our stay. She was local and available, communicated as needed, bought a thermometer when my daughter became sick, and was overall friendly and helpful. The condo itself was perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious and well appointed with many at-home conveniences. I liked the updates and cleanliness, the good water pressure, and the quality cookware that didn’t leave flakes in our food. My kids liked the beach umbrella and toys, the outdoor hose rinse, and the Disney channel. The condo location was great. It’s a block from the beach near a relatively quiet end section along the boardwalk. My kids took surfing lessons after noticing the nearby surfing camps going on. We went to the beach a couple times each day, and we liked walking along the boardwalk in the evening. Overall, we enjoy Virginia Beach because the water has good waves, isn’t too deep, and there are active lifeguards on duty.

Immaculate, great location, fantastic host, comfortable and well maintained.

Came down for a wedding in Smithfield and made a long weekend out of it. This townhome was fantastic. Host was awesome even offered us umbrellas to use at the beach. The home was immaculate and comfortable. Great location across from the beach and boardwalk. Many restaurants and bars in walking distance with the trolley there as well. Loved it!! Thank you

Absolutely perfect

Great location! Cross one block and you’re on the beach, walk around the back and you’re at the Marina where you can get any rental from a paddle board to a jet ski or boat, along with sight seeing cruises & parasailing. Dining & entertainment options everywhere… wonderful Hosts and the place is very nice with 2 patios that have a good view. Highly recommended for a great vacation. We will be going back!

Girls Trip

I would highly recommend this property to my friends and relatives. The place was spacious and extremely clean. Amazing

This was the perfect property for our family of 4. We had an absolute blast at the beach, which is as easy of a walk as the reviews have stated. The street looks busy from the pictures and we were a little concerned before we got there about our kids walking across all the time. It is literally no problem at all. There were not that many cars coming down our way and even when there are, they always stop and let you cross. And they drive pretty slow surprisingly! Miriam and Paul were awesome. Super accommodating and very helpful with letting us use their beach chairs, umbrellas, shovels, all beach toys, giving tips and advice on where to go, what is cool to do and answering any questions we had. Just really good people who were easy to talk to and get along with. Family type atmosphere but not in our way at all. Available any time but just if you need anything. Waterman's is quality, you can put your name in and then walk back to the house and they text you when the table is ready. Consistent, good service each time we went. Bonus feature was the shower in the garage and the foot wash. Helped a lot with sand maintenance, which we probably did not do a great job with, but we tried! All in all, couldn't have asked for a better experience or a better host for our trip. Highly recommended in every way!

Awesome rental in great location

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The property is very modern with a large kitchen and feels very homey, lots of nice little touches throughout. Miriam was awesome and very communicative, tried to help us however possible. Tons of things included that made the stay very nice such as beach chairs, towels, umbrella, etc. The location is dreamy, basically oceanfront distance to the beach with great views. Lots around to do and lots of good places to eat. Off street parking means you can leave your car and walk around without worry. Overall we'd very much recommend this and would love to stay again!

This is the most unique property on the oceanfront. We have views of both the ocean and the marina. We can walk from our front door onto the boardwalk for 3 miles and never encounter a car. At the extreme south of the beach, there is fishing, surfing, shopping, and dining without the chaos. There is no need to drive with something for everyone. Fully outfitted gourmet kitchen, large capacity washer/dryer, larges screen TVs, comfortable leather recliners, and so much more.
