Water front cottage on beautiful Upper Long Lake

Come, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Upper Long Lake in Northeast Indiana with a cozy cottage and gorgeous lake front views. Upper Long is a great fishing lake with many species of fish including Muskie, Bluegill, Bass and Crappie. Take a swim in the crystal clear water out to the swim raft, entertain in the large yard or sit around the campfire at night and tell stories. The cabin is equipped with 2 bedrooms plus pull out couch that sleeps a total of 5 comfortably plus a bathroom, open kitchen and living room with amazing views of the lake.

The neighborhood is very quiet and private. Within a couple miles there is a gas station & bait, a dollar general, carryout pizza place and ice cream stand. Chain-O-Lakes state park is only a 5min drive from the cottage.

Fort Wayne, IN is approximately 35 min drive. Columbia City, IN is approximately 25 min drive. Kendallville, IN is approximately 25 min drive. Goshen is approximately 30 min drive.

Rustic fish camp, just what we wanted! Location by the lake was perfect. Communication with the host was more than a 5 star, excellent!!

This place was so peaceful and a great little getaway. I would have said this place was perfect but the bathroom was really bad. The bathroom was tiny, outdated, and not clean. This place is great besides the bathroom. Also should mention the water is well water which tastes not great. I would absolutely recommend this place but really emphasize these two drawbacks

It was very peaceful and quiet for our four-day weekend. The weather was perfect. Just what we needed. The cabin is comfortable enough and had everything we needed. The bathroom shower is not the best. My husband enjoyed fishing every day and the cabin is not a far drive from Chain-O-Lakes state park where we spent a day hiking and canoeing. Someone stated it is a rustic fishing cabin, and I feel that is an accurate statement. The cabin has well water so renters may want to bring bottled water for drinking and cooking. Ryan (the host) is responsive and checks in to make sure you have arrived. We enjoyed getting away and relaxing. The Tubbs

Nice little getaway from everyday life

Very pleasant stay, very clean and quaint. Perfect for the two of us. Would definitely stay again

Great cottage

Beautiful, clean, cozy cottage. The property is beautiful and the cottage it great. Lots of things to do nearby. We had a wonderful time.

Perfect place for what we needed!Owner is a layed back realist VS renting from a grouch old man with a mile long laundry list of expectations and what not to do. Communication was fast and friendly.

Great day!

Nice place for us to stay! Needs updated. We enjoyed the lake, paddle boat was great. Seen river otters, a raccoon turtles, lots of fish, geese, heron and very friendly kitties. Very quiet neighborhood, pretty much had the lake to ourselves. Beautiful setting!

Fall Fishing Trip

I saw reviews of the property that it needed updated. It is a fishing cottage on a fishing lake, and it is exactly what we wanted and expected. It had everything we needed, even some cast iron skillets! The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Our stay was during the week, but it was extremely quite and relaxing. We would most definately stay again.
