The office is set up to do business out of if you need to get a little work done while away from home.The dining room also will seat up to 8 .The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a fantastic meal for your crew.Boasting two refrigerators and a built in ice maker the kitchen offers a great platform in hosting your crew of guests.The driveway is large enough to park about 8 cars .We are also pet friendly with a very large fenced back yard to let your furry friend explore the surroundings.The White House sleeps 6 comfortably with the master king size bed,and the 2 bedrooms downstairs one having a queen and the other having a full size bed.

LSU Football Weekend

Unique home that served as a great launching point for a weekend get together around an LSU FB game weekend. Home is in a nice location with a grocery store not even 1 block away. Easy access to university and highways. Beds were comfortable. Loved the quirky dual staircases. Had the biggest master bedroom suite I’ve seen.

Outstanding accomodations

My second time as a guest in the host's spacious, beautiful house. A huge plus was the fact that the host was quick to respond to questions and needs. His hospitality has been very much appreciated.

David is very easy to work with and flexible. We had such a fun weekend celebrating my daughter’s graduation from Law School. We had some family members over for a dinner and there was plenty of room.

I loved the house, location, and size! I felt pretty safe! Had an issue with a lock and the host sent someone right away to take care of it! There were a few things I wasn’t happy about! I will discuss with the host and I’m sure he will take care of it! I would definitely stay again! Thank You for allowing us to stay in your home and for allowing my pet to come along!

Grand Spacious Home in Convenient Location

This is not your average rental property. The space is palatial. You will feel like Scarlet O’Hara descending the grand staircase in the foyer. Most importantly the house has everything you need to be comfortable. We had local friends visit us there. There is plenty of room for a gathering inside and on the patio if desired. All the kitchen basics are at the ready, as are plenty of towels, and comfortable furniture. The check-in/out procedure was simple and direct, not overly fussy. The home is located very close to shopping and fantastic restaurants at every price point. Try the City Cafe right around the corner. We went downtown several times and found the commute to be reasonably easy. As a bonus, our little dog was permitted to come. He loved having plenty of room to frolic. The backyard is fenced but be aware a small dog could escape if he’s the sneaky sort. The owner is 100% hands-on. He answered my queries immediately and politely. In a moment of ridiculous oversight on my part, I left behind a suitcase of essentials. We were nearing home when the owner texted to let me know I left it and then volunteered to mail it to me. I’m profoundly grateful. My only regret is that I couldn’t take the ultilty room and upstairs dressing room home with me. Such nice features.

Loved our stay in Baton Rouge

We completely enjoyed our stay at David's house. Was well furnished and we felt right at home. We had never been to Louisiana and were keen on visiting and exploring. We used the house as our base to explore. We visited several plantations, LSU's campus as well as downtown Baton Rouge. Great location for this home to branch out and explore. Communicative and kind host. Great location and space

David hosted us for almost a month while we waited to close on our house, and also through Hurricane Ida. He was easy to get in touch with, understanding and willing to help when needed. The space was more than enough to meet our needs and made us feel at home in Baton Rouge before we had a home. Convenient location, great backyard and plenty of space!!

From the moment we entered, we immediately felt at home. Only thing missing was the pool. Lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The owner's retreat, upstairs, is VERRRRY spacious. Would love to return during the winter months to cozy up to the fireplace. Would I stay here again? DEFINITELY!! Never once did we have to worry about our safety as the neighborhood is quite lovely. Lots of space!

This was a great property for my family, plenty of space for everyone to have their own bedroom plus an office where we were able to set up the Pack n Play. The location was perfect as we were visiting family who live in the same neighborhood. The property owner was very flexible when our flights were changed by the airline. When we arrived, the internet/cable was not working d/t a bad storm the night before. The owner was very responsive and immediately had it working after making a call to the service provider. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Baton Rouge!

All good except very dirty

Location and house amenities were everything we needed for our family vacation however the inside of this house was the dirtiest we have ever stayed in. It was evident within minutes of walking in the door at 10pm after a 14 hour drive this house had not been cleaned properly. Dust on ceiling fans, dirty carpets, food of the floors, and hair on floors/counters/everywhere throughout the entire house. This house needs a deep cleaning before recommending to stay here.

Great Area

Unfortunately the house wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked it to be. The stairs were lined with carpet and very dirty. The downstairs bathroom toilet did not look clean. Just about every dish I went to use had old food still on the dishes so I had to clean them before every use. A lot of the light bulbs in the house were out and the heaters in the upstairs bathroom didn’t work (only attempted to use them because we stayed during the coldest week of the year). Not that anyone is to blame, but when we first arrived the door that contained a keypad to lock the door didn’t work and by the end of our stay there was a leak under the kitchen sink that leaked all onto the floor and continued to drip until we left. Overall the house was nice and in a great area, the only downside was that the house wasn’t as clean as I would’ve liked it to be for the price I paid. The owner was very nice, responded quickly, and dealt with the keypad and sink leak appropriately.
