Perfectly situated near the LSU campus, our house is an ideal choice for visitors looking to explore the vibrant culture and energy of Baton Rouge. We're only two miles to LSU's campus or you can walk east down toward the Perkins Road Overpass Merchants District or west to lovely City Park. Also, we're ON the parade routes.

Such a wonderful place to call our temporary home! Spencer is a fantastic host, the house is charming and comfortable, and we are looking forward to returning for another visit.

Convenient location and beautiful house

Family stayed here for my wedding. Beautiful and functional. Great backyard/deck area too. Definitely will be staying again.

Lovely house!

The Bungaleaux was awesome! Spencer had several little things that just made us feel right at home. The house was clean, decorated beautifully, and had modern amenities with old school charm throughout. The hot water took a minute but eventually heated up. I think the only thing to note is that one of the bedrooms has a VERY tall bed. As I was the most able-bodied of the group this became my room by default but luckily we found a stepladder in the closet. The Bungaleaux was in a perfect location for getting to/from LSU for a basketball game and doing some other sightseeing. Spencer also gave us recommendations for food. We tried Chimes and Sammy's and they were both great. We'd definitely stay here again!

Easter weekend fun

Had the best time for the weekend! The location could not be better. So close to a park, dog park, coffee shop and restaurants!!!!! Spencer was so responsive and amazing to work with even though he was out of town. I will definitely stay again…… only thing that was a surprise was that the fence was not “fully fenced”as one side had fallen down.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Our son attends LSU and we decided to spend the Thanksgiving week in Baton Rouge. Our daughter flew in from South Carolina to join us. The property had every amenity needed for a week's stay... and the kitchen worked perfectly to prepare our Thanksgiving Day meal. Spencer was very helpful in reaching out before, during and after our visit. He was also helpful in getting us tickets to the LSU football game. House is in a great location close to campus and off campus restaurants and shopping. Clean and Safe. We will plan to stay there again on our next visit to Baton Rouge. Geaux Tigers!

Ten days in Baton Rouge

When we arrived at the house, it was just as cute as the photos on VBRO. Everything we needed was already at the house; laundry detergent, plenty of towels, pots and pans, and even spices.Grocery store was within a few miles, a beautiful park across the street and phenomenal restaurants! EVERYTHING was clean!It was a perfect stay.
