Seal Creek Lake Cottage is a charming Lake Cabin nestled in the majestic Northeast Georgia Mountains on beautiful Seed Lake. Beautiful Seal Creek flows next to our home and provides an incredibly soothing cascading sound. Enjoy our Canoe, Paddle Board, & Two Kayaks on Beautiful Lake Seed! Now with lightning-fast Wifi (320.4 MBPS upload / 816.1 download)!

Seal Creek Lake Cottage is fully and tastefully furnished to provide everything needed to provide for a wonderful family and friends vacation. The cottage has four cozy bedrooms, a separate den with a queen sleeper, and 2 1/2 half baths, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, two cozy family rooms with wood walls, wood beamed ceiling and two stone fireplaces. And of course, enjoy all the lake activities from the private dock and two story boat house complete with a refrigerator upstairs. Swim, fish and relax from the dock or bring your own watercraft and have fun skiing, fishing and exploring the pristine lake and beautiful homes.

With in 20 -45 minutes:
* Visit historic Clayton, Tallulah Gorge, Unicoi State Park, and Dillard House family dining
* Hike to beautiful Panther Falls, up Black Rock Mountain, or on the Appalachian Trail
* White-water rafting down the Chatooga or the Nantahala River
* Experience Sliding Rock
* See bass and trout at the Moccasin Fish Hatchery
* Golf at nearby Kingswood or The Orchard
* Enjoy horseback riding and Zip Lining
* Shop at the many local mountain craft and antique stores
* Visit Helen Alpine Village for shopping, an amusement park, and nightlife

Enjoying Beautiful Lake Seed: Make sure to enjoy our canoe & kayaks or bring your own boat and tie up to our dock. If you would like, we have a list of marinas in the area that deliver rental boats and jet skis right to Seed Lake. It's a great lake for water sports or as all the locals will tell you, the best fishing in the area.

We are Pet Friendly for those who wish to bring their well behaved dogs, we welcome them. *Please note that there is no longer a hot tub at the property.*

Perfect Getaway

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying this beautiful property and gorgeous cabin! We especially loved hanging at the boat dock/deck, the large gathering areas, and s’mores by the campfire. The cabin was comfortable and clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the owner great to work with! We had a truly enjoyable getaway at the lake!

Great place

The cabin is really nice, a lot of space and very clean. The place is great and the host very responsive. The only issue is the internet connection. Is extremely slow and only one person can be connected at a time.

Amazing Property!

Beautiful Property with small waterfalls right onsite! House is cozy and lake house is great (want to return in the summer to enjoy the lake!) Close to hiking, Helen, Tallulah Gorge, etc. Vineyards, etc. there's so much to do in the area, even in on a rainy winter weekend! Chris is a great host, very attentive and informative. Thanks so much Chris!

Perfect for a quiet family trip in the mountains!

This cabin is the perfect getaway from our everyday busy life. The fact that has a stream right by the house makes it absolutely delightful to wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a cup of coffee outside. The cabin itself is also amazing! Beautiful, cozy, spacious and very well taken care of! We loved it an def recommend it!

Peaceful Family getaway

The cabin was a great setting to get away & relax together. The babbling creek in the backyard & lakefront boathouse were the perfect setting. Great waterfalls & hiking trails within 30 minutes. Had a great time!

Beautiful cabin!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our week stay at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The sounds of the creek were very relaxing and our dog especially liked playing in it. We will definitely come back!

Beauty and Tranquility

Beautiful spot on the Lake with the soothing sounds of a water fall rippling from the porch to the placid serenity of the lake from a kayak. A very accommodating Lake home and boathouse.

Beautiful location, cozy cabin

Just loved this beautiful property, we've never stayed anywhere like it. Quiet, peaceful, and serene. The sound of the waterfalls adjoining the property cascading lulled us to sleep and kept us asleep every night! The lake was calm and clean, we spent hours fishing, kayaking and canoeing (thanks to the owner for allowing us to use them). The furniture in the cabin was cozy, beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of trips to hiking trails within just minutes of the property. We can't wait to return with extended family.

Great cabin!

Great cabin and location with a little creek running alongside and a lake and dock across the way. The owner, Chris, was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend.

Great place

I went with my family to visit Helen Georgia and decided to expend couple of days In this place. Omg what an awesome experience! This cabin is so pretty and cozy, views are breathtaking! . We had a great time in north Georgia . Thanks to Chris for making this possible .

Fantastic family vacation

Although we booked this place last minute to get away from a hurricane, we had a fantastic time. The cabin is great with plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the creek and fishing from the boathouse. There are two towns that are a 20 minute drive. Chris was amazing and gave us a ton of suggestions on restaurants and activities. We are looking into booking again. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful lake house!

Thanksgiving get away

This was a great experience and peaceful for my family & I - We are VERY happy we found this cabin. Is away from the congested city, It is quiet next to a small creek of water that you hear the sounds all day & nature all around. The house is well equipped with games for the family game nights next to the fireplace & a full kitchen to even host a party! I would definitely recommend this to anyone that want to scape.
