Blessed on the New River - Newly Renovated!! Peaceful Riverfront Cabin located in a private and picturesque setting. The cabin is loaded with amenities that will enable you to maximize your vacation experience.

Enjoy the views of the New River and wooded surroundings. You can fish, tube or just play in the river all in view of the cabin. Enjoy strolls through the wooded landscape or relax in your hammock under the shade trees.

Great room features queen sleeper sofa, Smart Roku TV, books and games. Stove gas log fireplace and many windows for natural lighting. Dining for 6. Fully equipped kitchen including Keurig & 12 cup coffee maker, crock pot, air fryer, and blender. Off the greatroom step into the spacious screened in porch with cushioned seating, rockers and ceiling fans, overlooking the New River. Another great place to gather and enjoy the cool mtn breezes. 2 bedrooms with Smart Roku TV's and queen bed sets. 2 full bathrooms and laundry room.

Step outside and enjoy corn hole, s'mores at the fire pit, river tubes for the New River & several shade trees for your hammocks.

Other amenities include: Central heat & AC, ceiling fans, towels & linens, iron, ironing board, smart TV's, corn hole, booster seat, local phone, WIFI, Keurig, air fryer, blender, river tubes, 2 fishing poles, gas grill.

Beautiful property! Very peaceful. Porch was great as well as the fire pit. We really enjoyed the tubes. Will be back next year for sure! We floated from the beginning of the dirt road. Took us about an hour but would love to know of another place to put in our tubes for a longer ride next year.

We had a wonderful time at Blessed on the New River. We especially enjoyed the wonderful screen porch. Even in the rain we could sit and enjoy the egrets who flew in and walked near the riverbanks. Walking on the dirt road with our dog always brought nature at its best, especially seeing the deer right out in the river! Truly peaceful and relaxing, but we could make it to West Jefferson in under 30 minutes. We hope to be back.

We just got back from our trip at "Blessed", and we had a wonderful time. We've stayed at several VRBO's, and this home is at the very top of our list. It was so clean, the beds were comfy, and the view was incredible. The sceened-in porch was so nice for morning coffee., We had no worrisome issues at all, but if we would have, I know that the folks at 4 Seasons vacation rentals in Jefferson NC would have been on top of it. They are so kind, and super helpful. Oh, and for the folks who like to fish, my husband caught his first small mouth bass, along with many rainbow trout, on the river this past week. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Wow!!!!! The house is exactly what the pictures show!!! The house was so clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix our meals. We took our kayaks down the river for a 2 hour float and got out at the house. The tubes were a huge hit!!! The screen porch was my absolute favorite!!! We will definitely be back! Our family visits Ashe County every year for an annual trip to float the river. We've never stayed in the same house twice but I'm pretty sure I've found THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!! We want to Thank the host, even though we did not need a thing, we were very taken care of!!

Great place on the river.

Amazing Place and Service

Spring getaway

The house was very clean, and the property was lovely. It is on a very quiet unpaved road that is perfect for morning walks. The house is very well-equipped and filled with comfy furniture, beautiful dishes, and decorative touches. The weather was quite cold while we were there so we used the gas fireplace and lit a fire one night in the firepit. It's a perfect place to stay.

Beautiful Location

My family and I really loved our recent visit to the New River. The water access was perfect for our six year old to play in while my husband enjoyed fly fishing. Had the pleasure of meeting the property owner by chance and he and his son went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome and enjoy the perfect tubing experience! Everything is so cozy and the screened in porch was the highlight. Will definitely book again.

On the river

Lovely clean house in the woods. Easy access to all the local sights. Due to Isaias And nightly storms the river was muddy but still so lovely to sit by. Love love the outdoor porch and well Prepped kitchen. Would return.

Blessed Bella.

We loved this property first time staying on this part of the New River. Blessed is such a Blessed home it’s warm and so beautiful and very clean the location is perfect we had fun just riding in the jeep on Mouth of Silas Road lol. We also looked at the property up above this property. We had a fire in the pit that was in a perfect location and plenty of wood to burn that was hacked up waiting. We just Loved this home oh and the screen porch was fantastic. All in all We give this Blessed home a solid ten well done yall.

Property is beautiful and quiet. View is amazing. Everything was very clean! I will add that you need to take food and drinks with you as the drive to anywhere takes at least 30 mins and most places close about 7-8. There is a washer and dryer which is a huge plus. Take detergent to wash towels as you are given a limited number which is fine. Just be prepared. My son loved fishing in the river. It’s gets very cold and the gas logs are amazing. Only thing I will add is there is no garage service so you either have to take the garage with you or leave a tip (5 per bag) for the cleaning staff to remove Staff response quickly to any messages. I would highly recommend staying with this host. Also the screen in porch is wonderful to sit and read

Yes the area is rural and we appreciate your understanding there is no trash pick up in the county but we do have free convenience centers to take bagged trash. Wonderful

Would have been a perfect stay if the business managing the house had relayed to their house cleaning staff we had paid extra for late check out. We were trying to drink our coffee (on the screened in porch) and enjoy our last two hours when house keeping arrived early and parked up at the top of the road. At that time, we didn’t know who they were. So after about 15 mins of hearing the 1st vehicle and then another one showing up, I climbed the driveway. Housekeepers were very friendly and apologized. It was just a non relaxing wrap up to a great stay.

We do wish housekeeping had checked their notes in their schedule to read that you had a late 12 noon checkout but unfortunately they did not take the time to check notes. Great stay

We stayed for a week in this property. There were 4 adults. We were very pleased with the property. We had everything we needed, however, we did bring extra paper towels and toilet paper. If we hadn’t we would have had to buy some. This seems like a new trend since the beginning of the pandemic. Our biggest complaint was that weeds along the river bank had been allowed to grow to over 6 ft. blocking the view of the river from the cabin. Other nearby properties keep the weeds cut back. There may be a reason for this but it was not readily apparent. It wasn’t a big deal but cutting the height of the weeds would enhance the experience. There is access to the river and we were able to float on the tubes supplied and sit in the river and fish. All in all we would definitely return.

We will ask the owner about trimming riverbank weeds, however, this growth does prevent erosion. We hope the riverfront, tranquil atmosphere made for plenty of rest and relaxation. Such a beautiful place to get away. Quiet, clean , and a great view of the river. The porch is the best. It’s where you feel and see nature . Just note , it’s a long dead end dirt road to get there . We enjoyed our stay.
