Property was well maintained and location was private yet convenient to stores and restaurants. We enjoyed the views on the porch and having a gas grill was a plus.Looking forward to staying here again when we’re in the area.

This was by far the nicest place we’ve stayed when visiting this area. The house was the cleanest we’ve stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and ample supply of towels in the bathroom. An added bonus was the excellent communication with the host which was the best I’ve experienced. I highly recommend the Great Escape cabin.

The house was exactly as on the website. We felt nestled away in the woods. While it felt secluded, we close to the main street, a grocery store, winery, and West Jefferson State Park. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

This cabin was one of my favorite places we have stayed! It was very clean and comfortable. We loved it and can’t wait to come back. The location is very convenient to the city but you still feel like you are secluded. Also, we were able to get Door Dash delivery on the night of our arrival so we didn’t have to run back out to get food. We are looking forward to coming back here again.

We had a great stay at this cabin. There is an awesome porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee. There is a gate on the porch which makes it easy to enjoy with your dog.The hill to the cabin is paved and easy to navigate. Great location-we enjoyed hiking at the close by Jefferson state park and enjoyed the nearby downtown.

The Great Escape was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We appreciated thoughtful touches like coffee and little snacks in the well stocked kitchen. Very convenient to the town of West Jefferson and Mt Jefferson.

The host was extremely welcoming and made the booking and check in process very simple. The cabin was beautiful and was packed with all of the creature comforts to make it feel like home. The cabin is secluded enough to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee on the wrap around porch but very close to town for restaurant and shopping activities. The gas fireplace, fast wifi, and pet friendly nature of the property make it an easy choice and somewhere we would certainly stay again.

Great Getaway !

Great Place in Jefferson

The place was well located at the foot of Mount Jefferson. We had everything we needed and great access to the mountain parks, historic towns, and restaurants.

We enjoyed the outside deck the most on this trip. Thanks for allowing dogs, and for having a gate on the deck so she could hang out there with us safely. Lots of great hiking in the area, we went to Mt. Jefferson twice, as well as Paddy Mountain and New River State Park.

Great place to stay.

The home was clean and welcoming. Excellent location to explore West Jefferson. Close to grocery store. Just down the road from Mount Jefferson, where my husband took our dog hiking every day. Would definitely return.

The house was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. We loved that it was close to all the shops and restaurants. Enjoyed going to the top of Mountain Jefferson State Park.

This was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay for our weekend getaway to the mountains as a family. Our pups were so happy to be able to come along with us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Escape- really perfect!

Home was in a great location close to town. We even had a little snow which we really liked. Everything was clean and kitchen fully stocked. Will definitely come back!

Great place!

The place was perfect for us. Very comfortable, well-appointed, convenient, and very private. Christina and Devon responded very quickly to the few questions we had; nice people and easy to work with. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing Experience

The cabin is close to town for any last minute needs as well as near great mountain trails. My daughter loved the hiking. The cabin was spectacular. We will be coming back in the future.
