This is a perfect family gathering spot with sweeping lake and mountain views, an expansive and furnished deck, and various sleeping options. Spend a gorgeous California day on Donner Lake, where you can water ski, fish, or ride a boat! Just a quick drive will take you to Downtown Truckee. Book a historical walking tour at the Visitor Center to learn the town's deep history. You will also find many local dining options to choose from. In the winter, you can ski or snowboard at the family-friendly Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, which is only seven and a half miles up north and offers many outdoor activities.

Gather around the dining table to enjoy a meal prepared in the kitchen equipped with what you need. Go out on the enclosed deck to take in the open views of the trees and lake while you enjoy your morning cup of coffee, or maybe host a tasty cookout using the gas grill available. On a cold day, cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
