Condo was clean, quiet and off the main street. Parking was provided but very tight parking for larger vehicles. Complex situated on a slope. Very comfortable beds and interior accommodations. NOTE: low ceiling loft for kids only with a spiral steep & tight staircase. Use caution when assuming to use this space. There are some stairs between 2 levels also, but not too many. A little tight for tall folks with large feet.The beach access was the greatest feature and absolutely perfect. Also, dog friendly area safe from car traffic once inside the fence.Host was pleasant, communicated well thru VRBO app. Also worked with us to reschedule due to a medical issue. Easy to check in. A little difficult finding the correct access point off the road behind the property. Navigation app does not give you the best spotting, approximate only. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Living space and deck were much smaller than expected. The upstairs loft’s very low ceiling made it feel very claustrophobic for anyone to sleep there. There is an industrial metal spiral staircase in middle of family room up to loft. The condo grounds were old. Private beach was in a dirty area with old chairs and furniture. Though good location, overall not worth the money. The owner was very responsive.

Donner lake stay

Property was well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The condo was located across the street from the boat ramp at Donner Lake. Has a nice time.

Lake retreat

The condo was clean, well equipped, and had a great view of Donner Lake. Communication with Rhonda was perfect. The use of the private beach makes this property very special.

fantastic place!

This property was great. From the very clean rooms to the well-stocked kitchen to the beach towels to the comfortable beds and the private beach!! We had 4 adults and 2 dogs and this property was perfect. The condo complex is quiet and about a 7- minute walk to the private beach. Donner was a nice alternative to the crowds that Tahoe draws. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful week

This condo was perfect for our family and my kids loved the loft. Everything was clean and well maintained. It’s close to the water, but a little farther from the beach than we realized. Overall we’d absolutely stay again.

Very nice 3 level condo. Very nice decoration and warm interior. The entrance is particularly practical with the mud room when you came back from sky.

Beautiful Condo

Condo is beautiful, clean and well stocked. Parking is tight but dealing with the property manager was easy and prompt. They were very helpful. Views are partial and back from the lake and not waterfront. The private beach and gazebo are a little walk from the condo but property provides a wagon if you need one. Beach is small but fenced. Condo is not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues as there are multiple stairs to get to the front door and the home is multi level.

Great Experience

Our family had a really great experience at our recent stay here. From the start, Rhonda was really thorough and timely in all her communications. She also found out that there was construction on the weekdays during our stay and reached out immediately to offer us free cancellation/modification of our trip or a discount for those days. We took the discount and really appreciated that she wanted us to be 100% happy. When we arrived the overall complex looked a little run-down on the outside but this particular unit was spotless and renovated! It was great during COVID to feel reassured about the cleanliness of the property and it was truly spotless! Truckee was a quick trip away and we were able to enjoy some really nice meals outdoors. Despite the smoke and wild fires we were still also able to enjoy the private beach each day. It was really nice b/c the public beach down the street was really crowded so the small private beach felt really relaxing and great. We even saw some brown bears, which was both scary and exciting! The little ice-cream store was also closer than we thought when we first looked at the map; the kids really enjoyed walking there in the evenings and enjoying that as well! Overall we had a really great trip!

A beautiful condo home up in the trees with a lovely lake view. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and visiting with all the birds and squirrels. Everything was just as expected and the lake side beach was a delight. We would recommend this cozy getaway for a great Donner Lake vacation.

Place was clean, quiet, stocked up with lots of the daily items you would need for cooking. The location was perfect, right near the lake! And we had a private beach to hang out in.

Amazing place with great proximity to everything. The kids loved the fun layout and I asked so many questions and the host always answered quickly with great advice on how to enjoy the surroundings. 100% would stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

The condo is spacious, clean and located in a beautiful, private setting across from Donner Lake, a few minutes from downtown. The condo fully stocked with all necessities and the beds are comfortable. The property host, Rhonda, is very organized and responsive. We have no complaints. This is our go-to spot!

The condo has plenty of rooms for our family of 5 (all adults) and a dog. It's in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. The private beach access is top-notch. Rhonda is awesome! She quickly responded to all our inquiries. We will be back!
