As you enter you are drawn to the open, bright and airy island feel of Kamaole Sands 6-102!

The Kitchen offers stainless steel appliances and gorgeous granite countertops. Nicely equipped with everything the inspired home chef will need to whip up a gourmet meal.

The living area is nicely appointed with flat screen TV, floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and offers a comfortable setting to relax after a fun filled day on Maui. Queen size murphy bed in living room allows for 2 additional guests to sleep comfortably. New in 2023 Ductless AC system in living area and bedroom helps keep you cool after long days out in the sun.

Say aloha to dining al fresco while enjoying peek-a-boo ocean views on your private lanai. This perfectly located unit is just steps to the pool and barbecue grills.

The primary bedroom offers a California king bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV and gorgeous en suite bathroom with vanity and shower/tub combo. There is an additional full bathroom for guests just off the living area.

Take in a mesmerizing Maui sunset or just put your toes in the sand right across the street at Kamaole Beach Park III. Snorkel with turtles and whale watch from the huge grassy field. The younger members of the family will love the large playground and bathroom facilities make playtime even easier. This unit is fully equipped with beach chairs, towels, and portable cooler.

Located on 15 landscaped tropical acres, stay active while staying at this property with on property tennis courts, swimming pool, jacuzzi, barbecue grills and a weekly Mai Tai parties every Wednesday.

Kamaole Sands Resort is a beautiful property and the staff are wonderful. Super clean BBQs and well kept grounds and friendly staff. Our condo was spacious for our family of 3. Murphy bed was wonderful to have for our daughter and still allowed for plenty of space to access the living room area and lanai. Lanai is very private. Beds comfortable and AC kept the entire condo cool. Only issue was the master bathroom shower wasn't working but the 2nd bathroom had a more preferred shower anyway. This location of Kihei is also our favourite as the beaches are amazing. Can't wait to go back!

Very nice accommodations . The cell service was very poor but everything else was great. It was nice having the Murphy beds when we had extra guests the first week. The wifi was poor in the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay at Kamaole Sands,

Host was welcoming. Couch in the living room is the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!!!!!
This couch is horribly uncomfortable and should have been replaced 10 years ago. I’d invite any of your stafff to come by and experience it in person

Vacation experience

Overall a very nice resort. Very kid friendly and we loved the large lawns for our children. Pool scene was very nice. We loved the small toddler pool as well. Would highly recommend this resort to families with younger children.

We stayed here for just over 2 weeks. The location was great, KAM beach is directly across and easy and quick to walk to. Overall amenities of the resort was as expected and generally clean and lots of parking. We did have a few issues during our stay, from not receiving any check in information (I had to call for some time while at the airport to try and get it), to broken hair dryer and malfunctioning washer. We’ve been to Maui many times and generally don’t experience such issues so this was new for us. With that being said, everything was addressed before we checked out. The location of the unit is very close to the pool so quite convenient. The unit also had some basic beach gear which came in handy.

Maui getaway

Wonderful condominium! Clean, spacious and quiet, located a short walk from the beach. Easy to get to multiple shops, restaurants and activities around the island. Reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Beyond expectations!

Great condo, with everything needed, in beautiful setting. Perfect location for walking to beach, restaurants and shopping. Condo, pool area and surrounding property were immaculate and friendly neighboring vacationers. All pros and no cons!

Great location

Fairly private unit backs onto small green space which is nicely shaded for morning breakfast on lanai with the birds. Convenience of ground level. lPlenty of close parking. Comfy bed and bedding. A/C works great. Kitchen very nice with all you will need. Only complaint is bathrooms need upgraded shower fixtures.

We had a good time in Kihei. Overall the property met our needs and we enjoyed our time there. The kitchen was well organized, the bed was comfy and the unit was very clean when we arrived.The complex at Kamaole Sands is such a wonderful place for families with a pool within 1-2 mins walk. There are two reasons why I am giving 4 stars instead of 5.One - The bathroom with a tub seemed to have an issue. The water would not flow so we could not use the tub for our toddler. The tub is looking older and should be considered for replacement too.Two - The washer broke while we were there on the second day. I called the Customer Service team who took my call promptly. The technician was there the next morning, which was great. However, they needed to order a part from another island (Oahu). That part is understandable, but it was a bit frustrating that 4 days later no one had returned or called me to give an update on what was going on. Long story short, we could not wash any of our clothes while we were there. I understand things happen, but I would have liked more communication. Overall, we left happy and content with our stay.

Great stay

Unit exactly how described. Long time visitor to this property. The shower knobs are a bit rough to pull out. CB Island employees were very responsive and helpful for the few things we contacted them for.

Great unit!

Very nice unit. Nice and close to the pool and ice machine. Nice short trips down to Kamaole III beach everyday. Shower fixtures could use an update, but not the end of the world as they still do what they are supposed to do. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We loved our stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the Kamaole Sands. The condo is close to the beach, and has lots of beach chairs and even a wagon to haul supplies. The kitchen is well equipped in the kitchen. There were many restaurants and stores very close by. An added bonus were our grandkids across the grass who visited us many times. It was a great vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of property and layout of condo was great. Property amenities, activities and staff also great (the landscaping was gorgeous). Very friendly staff on site. Aside from a few stray hairs and a little sand in the hall, the room was very very clean (I may be a neat freak). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone and would definitely book here again.

Perfect location

Apt. 6-102. Loved the location near the beach, being on the first floor, the patio facing the grassy area, very close to pool, and zero noise from neighbors. They also had tennis and pickleball courts but I didn’t get the chance to use them. They left a small bag of Kona coffee for us and plenty of beach supplies. Cons: not a fan of their towels or the showers. There was also a dead roach in our room though I understand pest control can be difficult in apartments in a tropical area.

Great location - a few repairs needed

Adequately appointed unit. Sliding glass doors and sliding screen were stiff and required 2 hands to operate. Screen door on main door would stick when closed, so we decided not to use it. Shower faucet also difficult to turn on/off.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at this unit was great. Felt good to be back on the Island! This Condo was comfortable and clean. This unit was not as well stocked as we have experienced from other units we have stayed at in the last 15 years. The rental company did very quickly follow up on a couple of items brought to their attention. Overall we were satisfied and did enjoy ourselves. What truely could be bad about a day in paradise.

My experience with your unit

For me personally it was almost perfect and met all my needs. I have no complaints. I appreciated the information binder ( which was concise, humorous and informative ). I appreciated the labelled light switches. ( it saved me from turning every thing on and off several times and then having to figure it all out again and again ) Took me awhile to figure out the table lamps ( either side of the sofa because someone had pulled out the plug before I got there. If the air conditioner/ heat pump was on or off then it wasn’t me. ( I prefer fans and breezes ) Your unit was well stocked and organized in my opinion. Everything from a first aid kit, iron and ironing board to beach chairs and umbrellas . I loved your ukulele ( the younger grandchildren who occasionally visited were almost forbade to touch it) and the wooden wastebaskets. It met all my needs. Now for the things that were a challenge for me. You need to know that I am 74 years old, that there were a total of 11 people in the group that I was travelling with ,that at times we were in three different units and we ranged in age from 5 to 75. ( The fact that I couldn’t just dial direct to any unit almost drove me mad ).

Manager Issues

The facility was lovely and the location to the beach was excellent. This condo was clean and well stocked for cooking, towels, and beach supplies. Breakfast on the lanai was quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. While this property is located in a resort-style complex, the unit is managed by a separate property management company. If there are problems with the unit, the separate property manager is the contact for repairs. Normally this wouldn't be a problem except that we DID have problems and the property manager was unresponsive. Upon arriving, we discovered that we master shower did not drain properly. After a short shower, I was left standing in nearly 2" of water. We tried to solve the problem ourselves with a plunger but that didn't work. I sent a message to the manager via VRBO right away. I received an automated response saying my message was important and they'd respond to my inquiry as soon as possible. I had no response. We called on Saturday morning and were told a request would be put in. No one showed up. In addition to half of the outlets not working properly, the Microwave did not work. We tried to troubleshoot by checking breakers and more outlets without success. We tried 4 times to reach out via the VRBO app and telephone; we finally got a response from the property manager at noon on our last day. They did offer a credit back, with an apology, which we appreciate, but quick response to the issues would also have been preferred
