Welcome to Nani Kai which means 'beautiful ocean' in Hawaiian. We are located at the most popular and sought after condominium complex on Maui, Kamaole Sands.

What makes Kamaole Sands Maui's best and most popular resort-like condominium complex are the amenities which include 15 acres of lush tropical gardens, fountains, waterfalls, Koi ponds, swimming pools, jacuzzi spas, tennis courts, fitness center, activity centers, gas barbecues and free parking.

This spacious 887 square feet unit in building 8, 3rd floor has been fully remodeled in 2018 featuring tile through-out including the lanai, fresh new paint, new kitchen, new appliances, new lighting, new fans, new fixtures, doors, and hardware.

It is beautifully decorated and furnished in a classic contemporary style with a tropical flair. The understated elegance of this unit will make you feel relaxed, refreshed, and rested. We just purchased a new king Sealy Posturepedic for the master bedroom to ensure that you will have the most restful sleep. Our linens are highest quality and our towels are plush 100% cotton. We even provide extra large beach towels, beach chairs, and coolers. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided to make this unit your home away from home.

Very clean stay, easy to check in, and great location!

Been to Maui a fair share amount of times and I’m always changing locations to stay on the island. Without a doubt this is one of the best properties I have stayed at in Kihei! And would absolutely recommend for you to book your stay here.

Great location, walk to beach

Great stay, would definitely stay here again. Had everything we needed to cook our food. It was nice to have two bathrooms. And wonderful to walk down to the beach. Love the location.

Great place to come back to after activities

This condo is located a walking distance from the beach. It is spacious and very well equipped. Communication with the owner, Elly, was excellent. We had a lovely time there. We strongly recommend staying there.

great location with all the amenities you would want on your vacation! the pool/garden/grilling area is also very nice. perfect for a couple or small family!! the owners are also very easily reached and very helpful with any questions you have, very quickly even if it’s a bit late. will be coming back!

Good value and nice location

Nice location , property taken care of. Easy to find and checkin. Host very timely and responsive if any needs. Kitchen had everything and all beach toys supplied. Very nice place. Walking to restaurants, don’t need a car here.

great vacation

Thank you for making our vacation great. check in was supper easy even though we arrived very late. the condo and grounds were well kept and beautiful. the only down side was the weather was very hot and made cooling the bedroom challenging as the air conditoner was in the living room, with the fans provided and some planning we were able to sleep comfortably,

Perfect getaway with all the amenities

The condo is exactly as listed. It has everything you need, including everything for the beach. Elly is amazing at responding to questions. We didn’t want to leave.

Great stay!

Elly's vacation home is a perfect location if you'd like to be a close distance to the beaches, local restaurants, and stores in Kihei and Wailea. It was a good home base for us as we explored the upcountry, Haleakala National Park, Paia, Maalea harbor, and West Maui. Instructions were very clear and communication is prompt. If you sleep more comfortably with the AC on at night, be mindful that the AC system runs for 6 hours max on one cycle, which you can turn on again.

Excellent accommodations

Staying at the Kamaole Sands was a great decision. It was clean and located very close to several beaches and several delightful restaurants. Being from Alaska, we dont have much beach gear, except for swimming suits. However, the owner of the condo that we stayed at had beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards, as well as a wagon to haul everything in. We had a wonderful time. Kamaole Sands was a lovely respite after a hard day of play.

Quick little Get-a-way

The Condo was perfect and located in our favorite Kamaole Sands Property! The owner was extremely responsive and communication was easy and helpful. The condo was clean & comfortable and we genuinely enjoyed our little escape. We would definitely rent this unit again. It was exactly what the Doctor ordered and gave us some great sanctuary from the hustle and bustle. Thank you for sharing your little piece of Heaven!

Great location to visit island

Very nice 1 Bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms 👍(nice benefit). The facility is very clean and the furniture in good condition. Bed mattress seamed like new, very comfortable . Overall facility well maintained. The condo is where Wailea and Kihei cities joint. 2 minute walk to beach. Great location to drive around the island. Really enjoyed our visit to the island and the condo. 🌴🏌️‍♂️🤙

Elly’s condo was just what she advertised. Elly is a very kind & professional lady. She did anything I asked of her prior to & during our one month stay including purchasing a Keurig coffee maker & coffee pods for us.Thank you Elly for making us feel at home!Suggestions: hooks at the front to hang hats, your purse on.Comfortable cushions for the outdoor patio furniture

Private House keeper not trained.

Nice location. Nice pool nearby. Unclean suite. Dirty floors. Bath fan never cleaned. Nice owner tried to please but good help hard to find. Let us check out late.

Home Away From Home

First impression was we honestly weren't sure. But it didn't take long until we felt right at home. This place was the perfect fit for us. It had everything we needed....and more. It even had scotch tape!! Elly was a fantastic host...very approachable, pleasant, and accommodating. She customed our stay to meet our needs, which made our stay exceptionally pleasant right up until the end. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever get the opportunity to re-visit Maui. Thank you, Elly, for everything!

Beach view? Like everyone at Kamaole Sands, we had to look around the corner of our balcony to get a look at the beach. It wasn't exactly what we'd call an Oceanview. Room is not "Newly Remodeled"; remodel was a few years ago. But room was clean, spacious; and we liked having 2 bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable.Room provided some helpful amenities like beach chairs/mats, insulated cooler, insect repellant, kitchen extras like plastic wrap for leftovers. Handle of screen door fell off a few times until my husband found some adhesive and got it to stay on. Water backs up in the kitchen sink. Sink in master bathroom has a plug that sticks and then doesn't drain.

Great location!!

Overall, our stay was great. We had a few issues...the outdoor furniture on the balcony was very uncomfortable and for the amount of time we spent on it, we would have loved something with cushions and more comfort. The floors were filthy from day one! We could smell it was cleaned when we walked in, but when walking on the floor our feet would be filthy. There was not enough seating in the livingroom. The couch is small and very lived in. Has room for larger comfortable furniture so an upgrade is needed. Other than those issues we had a great time in Hawaii. A big plus was the location. Within walking distace of so much.

We are Sean and Elly Foley. We have lived on Maui for over 30 years. We just love our island paradise and can't imagine living anywhere else. Because of our intimate knowledge of Maui, we love to share the many secrets of Maui with our guests to make their visit extraordinary. Since we bought the condo, our boys are constantly pestering us to take them there to enjoy the pool, tennis courts and especially Kamaole III beach park. We just love spending time there and on the rare occassion when we could, it's hard to tear ourselves away to go back to reality.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

It was a no brainer to purchase a unit at Kamaole Sands when we decided to invest in a vacation rental. We never even consider other condo complexes. Kamaole Sands is by far the BEST in South Maui. Because it was originally built as a hotel, Kam Sands has all the ammenities of a hotel including fitness center, pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, fountains, ponds, gardens, picnic tables, barbecues. Not only that, but the rooms are much larger than at other condo complexes.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

It's a tie between the bed and the beach. The brand new King size bed in the master bedroom is more comfortable than the bed we have at home. We have a hard time getting out of bed to walk down to one of the best beaches on Maui. Kamaole III beach park is great for snorkeling, diving, swimming, boogy boarding, surfing or just laying out on the warm soft sand.
