This was our second year staying at this property and we loved it as much as we did last time. It’s clean, well cared for and well stocked. The owner is very easy to reach and the check in and checkout process doesn’t get much easier. The location is absolutely spectacular.

The house and property were beautiful, we loved relaxing in the 3 seasons room and hot tub, enjoying the view of the fall colors, and getting away from it all.

The property is beautiful!The house very welcoming. Three couples and 2 dogs enjoyed our stay. We all had plenty of room. We also enjoyed the large yard playing outdoors. The seclusion was wonderful. The large yard was perfect to play with the dogs.Friday evening we had dinner at Badger Crossing. It was delicious. The best part was that my 2 border collies were welcome. We can't go as a family if they can't come.

Ski festival weekend

The home and property were beautiful. Perfect for our group and very close to the snowflake festival grounds. Hot tub was perfect for warming up❄️ Would highly recommend this place😊

Cozy Cabin

Cozy cabin on an absolutely beautiful secluded property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and all the nature around us. Mt. LaCrosse ski area is about 25 minutes away where we spent 2 days skiing.

This was a great spot for a getaway. It was so wonderfully quiet -- only the calls of birds and the wind in the leaves. The house was well appointed with plenty of room. Kitchen/greatroom was a good place to gather.

We didnt know what to expect but loved the peace & quiet, the full kitchen, the hot tub & right in the middle of the Amish country. We really enjoyed it

College roommate getaway

We had a wonderful time here. The property is beautiful and quiet. The cozy cabin allowed us to enjoy our time together with plenty of space. The hot tub was an added bonus to sit back and relax. Will put this place in the must travel to again!

Cozy rustic cabin

We enjoyed this cabin in spite of it’s fairly remote location. The deck, front porch, sunroom and fire pit gave it a homey and relaxing feel. The beds were very comfortable, and there were nicely renovated bathrooms. The property is a bird lovers’ paradise, with multiple feeders in the yard.

Ladies Getaway

We stayed for a Bachelorette party. It is rustic and aways out there, but so worth it! Very clean and has everything you need. Plenty spacious and comfortable. We cant wait to make a family trip next time.

Great spot for some peace and quiet!

Had a group of 5 for a low-key Bachelorette party. It was exactly what we needed. It was a beautiful spot that was peaceful and quiet. If I were planning a stay with kids, this would be a perfect spot for them to play outside and explore. Our entire group appreciated quiet coffee on the deck watching the wildlife. Great spot! Would recommend.

Annual kayak trip

The pictures do not do it justice! The property sits in a valley that is absolutely spectacular. The house is better than the pictures. The four seasons room is fantastic! The kitchen is well equipped. We kayak the Black River every year but this is the first time we stayed here and we will definitely be back!

Lovely cabin in the woods

The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. The host was easy to contact and very helpful. The property is secluded and we saw tons of birds and lightning bugs. The hot tub was the perfect way to end the day after a long hike or a kayak trip down the Kickapoo river (Mr Ducks was a fantastic place to rent kayaks, tubes or canoes). Excellent dining and shopping in nearby La Crosse. Highly recommend!

It is totally secluded. You can hear nothing except the birds and wildlife. The hot tub is so amazing on the deck at night. Everytime I sit in it I tell myself how lucky I am to have a piece of paradise. It is to beautiful not to share.
