No need to drive! Located on first floor in the heart of Viroqua. Explore the eclectic works of local artists, boutique stores, live music, great food, farmer's market and much more! A block away from Elkhart park, walking distance to Wisconsin Foodie's own farm-to-table Driftless Cafe and Magpie Gelato, YUM! Great trails at Sidie for hiking, biking or stroll around the lake or grab coffee at Wonderstate - roasted locally! Viroqua is home to some of the best trout streams in Wisconsin.
The space
Located in center of Viroqua on the backside of a commercial building with rental apartments upstairs not connected to this area.
Guest access
Will be able to access Polyshades of Gray. There is an emergency exit through one of the commercial companies, but they can’t access Polyshades of Gray.

Well Appointed and Comfortable

This is a pretty place with up to date furnishings, well appointed kitchen and comfortable bedroom. Not a lot of daylight but If you are in Viroqua for a meeting or symposium this is the perfect place to stay...good early morning and evening/nighttime cozy spot.

Viroqua is a wonderful little town. The apartment is unassuming from the the street but inside it is spacious, very up to date, and clean.

a very nice place to stay

The apartment was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Also it was well configured and convenient to just about everything. It was very easy to communicate with the host. We would definitely stay there again.

Clean and Comfy

I really enjoyed my stay in the heart of downtown Viroqua at Josh's place.My initial reaction was that it is clean, as that is extremely important to me. Next was the cozy interior. The photos accurately portray the space.Josh is a superior VRBO communicator. All of my queries were answered extremely quickly, from my initial request to rent, my need to extend my stay by an extra day, and a few questions about checking out.I would stay here again if I come back to Viroqua, and you should seriously consider Josh's VRBO if you are planning a trip there.

Great apartment in a wonderful town

Owners have made this apartment a perfect place to stay. Nicely decorated and everything you need to make your own meals. If cooking is not what you’re in the mood for, then there’s plenty of good restaurants in walking distance. Check in and out were very easy. The apartment is located right on the main road through town, so expect some traffic noise. We used the ear plugs that Josh provided to get a good nights sleep. We will definitely stay again!

This property is perfectly located and is in walking distance to everything in the downtown area of Viroqua. Very clean and the hosts provided any essentials you might forget or need. Would (and probably will) 100% stay here again 🙂.

this property was perfect - can walk to great restaurants, coffee shops & shops - had booked a class with Driftless Folk School & this property ended up being on the same street about a mile down the road

Excellent rental. Everything is new and very clean, including the bathroom. Very comfortable and well equipped. Walk out the door to Viroqua’s excellent restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable

It was a little hard to find. Just because we were arent front the area so the directions from the host helped immensely. The inside was extremely clean and cozy. The bed and couch were very comfortable and not stiff. Highly recommended, it definitely beats staying in the hotel.

What a wonderful apartment in a wonderful town. The apartment is close to everything. Very clean and very well stocked with everything I needed for my short getaway. Communication with the owner was very easy. Josh was very quick to respond to any questions I had. Check in was seamless. I would highly recommend this apartment if you're in the area. Just around the corner from everything!

Booking and accessing this location was so well managed and communicated that it seemed the hosts were reading my mind. Came in for the newly launched Ridges and Rivers Book Festival and was within easy walking distance of every event, dining, library and shopping. The space was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, immaculate and well-stocked with necessary kitchen supplies. Loved my time here. Most definitely recommend!
