Our log cabin is situated on 100 acres and is located in the very private and peaceful woods just 10 minutes from Leipers Fork Village, 25 minutes to downtown Franklin and 45 minutes from downtown Nashville. The cabin is open and cozy with large porches. It's perfect for a couple or small group desiring the peace and quiet of a nature retreat.

The cabin overlooks a flowing creek with long views of the meandering drive and hiking trails. There is a sleeping loft with a king bed with a half bath and two bedrooms on the main level...as well a a full bath. This is a peaceful retreat with an abundance of trails among majestic 200+ year old trees. The surrounding back roads are scenic

Everything was excellent!

This cabin was the perfect cabin in the woods! It was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The extras were so nice (fresh flowers, charcuterie fixings, bottled water, lots of wood for burning in the fire place and much more.) The hosts were easy to contact but not imposing. I can’t think of a thing they could improve.

Beautiful property! The cabin is situated in a way that gave privacy from surrounding properties. The owners were great and the amenities were fantastic. The cabin was festive and had decorations. The trails were good with plenty of room to go on a hike..

Cajun Thanksgiving Part Deaux

This is the second time we have rented this cabin to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with our TN family. It was just as wonderful as 2020. So much to do on the grounds yet such a relaxing getaway. It was quite cold and the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit were burning for hours on end. Clair and Billy were gracious enough to have additional firewood delivered which we promptly burned. The cabin and the property are impeccably maintained. We love bringing our golden retriever with us to hike the grounds. For fellow travelers who enjoy traveling with their pet, please be courteous and pick up after your pup. It’s no fun to see, smell or step in your pup’s poop. We highly recommend this cabin. Ideally located in that you are not far from Franklin, the Natchez Trace Parkway and Leipers Fork. Beware- Leipers Fork was once quiet and it’s now been discovered by out of state tourists but that’s part of the fun. Live music and outdoor fires at many businesses and restaurants on an early Sunday evening which was enjoyable. This will not be our last time renting this property.

Amazing home!!

This property exceeded our expectations- the property is so peaceful and house was perfect to celebrate with our family. Outside wrap around porch was terrific and the huge fireplace in the living space was spectacular!! We will definitely back. Claire and billy were great hosts!!!

TRANQUILITY

The cabin is extremely clean and comfortable. A great place for family or friends to relax. On property , several trails are marked for a brisk walk/hike. Downtown Franklin is great as was Leipers Fork(10 minutes away) A great place to relax!

Weekend wedding trip

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and allowing us to extend our stay an additional night! The location was perfect for a quiet and relaxing family get away. Our dog enjoyed running up and down the creek bed and the boys enjoyed catching minnows and crawdads. The house was very well stocked and the morning coffee on the deck was amazing. We were visited by what I think was a coyote but he kept his distance so we did not feel as if we were in danger. He was definitely more scared of us than we were of him. We were warned about the ticks and took proper precautions so they were not a problem for us. We are already talking about when we can return!

Perfect for privacy

This house is beautiful and perfectly secluded if you are looking for peace and quiet. Absolutely love the porch and listening to nature all around. Grocery store is close and lots of hiking trails.

Fantastic Family Vacation

Everything was perfect.....We had family there from NC, OK, TN, and TX ( and a cousin and her husband from Huntsville, AL visited for our BQ last Friday night .......Highly, highly recommend !!! Great place to create an everlasting memory....Very secluded and private...just want we wanted!!

Beautiful

The property is gorgeous and the cabin is lovely. The deck is a great place to escape from it all and just listen to the creek and watch the trees in the wind. We would definitely stay there again. Both Billy and Clair were excellent hosts and very accommodating. No complaints!

Quiet woods get away

Peaceful quiet cabin in the woods. Just what a very busy family needed for a Thanksgiving break. Loved walking the dog in the woods each morning and watching the deer. Loved sitting by the fire each night. Thank you Claire and Billy!

Magical property

This cabin and the surrounding property is absolutely beautiful and magical! Our family had an absolute blast! Nature was at it’s best as we hiked, walked in the stream and sat on the deck! Billy and Clair are so nice and very caring! They are Wonderful managers/owners of the cabin! We will be back as often as possible! We’ve already been there twice this year! You will not regret renting this property! ❤️❤️

Beautiful

We enjoyed every bit of the property and the cabin. It was gorgeous. The host was very nice and accommodating. The cabin was clean and beautiful and the trails and the pond were fun to check out. Our puppy loved playing in the creek and kids loved the swing.

Great cabin in great location.

Wife says this was her favorite of places we've stayed. Loved the surrounding woods, porch, privacy and quiet. Would love to own this spot. If you are outdoors alot as we were, plan for ticks, but don't let them dissuade you.

Perfect getaway!

100 Acre Wood was the perfect stay for our family July 4th holiday. The hiking is wonderful, the scenery picturesque, and the cabin clean and cozy. We had a wonderful time BBQing and playing corn hole on the huge wrap around porch. Leipers Fork for the day was also fun. Beautiful place! Clair and Billy made our stay so easy & went out of their way to accommodate our needs. We can’t wait to go back!

5 Star Nature Getaway

First, Billy and Claire were terrific hosts. Their communication was outstanding both before, and during, our week long stay. Just great people that were very easy to work with. As an example, we asked to arrive a couple hours early to watch an NCAA tournament game. Billy and Claire not only accommodated our request, they upgraded the DirecTV package to ensure the game was available and stocked the kitchen with beverages and snacks. Their property and cabin were amazing. The cabin is well stocked with basic items, which was good, because after arriving we didn't even want to leave to go to the grocery store. Fortunately, that was only a 15min drive to town. There are marked trails for hiking throughout the property, and while we did explore, we were very satisfied sitting on the deck listening to the creek and nature. The cabin has a fireplace we made good use of, and there were a variety of board games available as well. One bedroom is open to the main living area, so that may be a consideration if bedtimes vary among guests. This was not a factor for our family however. If you are looking for a secluded get away, you will not be disappointed. We highly recommend this VRBO and can't wait to come back! Thank you Billy and Claire!

Beautiful Cabin with Superb Hospitality

Our family spent 6 wonderful nights on the property. The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable for families and/or friends who want to enjoy time away from the hustle and bustle of city living. We hiked the various trails and spent lots of time on the porch and by the fire pit. The owners, Claire and Billy went beyond our highest expectations ensuring we had what we needed and then some. We will definitely return in the future as well as share the rental info. Thanks again Claire
