Beautiful Lake House on Cowpen Lake w/Private Fishing Pond Boat Rental Available

Come enjoy our wonderful home on a beautiful, private 600 acre lake. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bath lake house is a perfect family or friend getaway. The house is located on Cowpen Lake in Hawthorne, FL located 30 minutes from University of Florida. House is on 2 very private acres with plenty of parking. Cowpen Lake is a spring fed, clear lake great for boating and fishing. Bass, bream, gar, crappie and catfish can all be caught from the dock. Our property also has a 4 acre small fishing pond that is perfect for kids. Boats can be launched from shore with ease. Pet friendly. The property is completely fenced in. There is a 2018 Harris Pontoon Boat available to be rented during your stay. Ready and in the water with a full tank of gas to enjoy the lake!!

Upstairs Room 1 - 2 Single Beds (Jack and Jill Full Bathroom)

Extra Full Sized Bathroom downstairs off the living room area as well.
Optional Room 4 - The Master Bedroom is connected to an Office where there is an EZ Bed pop up Queen Air Mattress that can be utilized for extra sleeping.
There are a couple of couches that are comfortable to sleep on as well.
House sleeps 6 comfortably, but can sleep up to 10.

3rd Annual Lake trip

We always love our stay here on the lake. Lots of good fishing, swimming and relaxing. Perfect for all ages from our toddler to our elderly parents. Never a single complaint

We always have a great time at the lake house. Plenty of room and everything you could need.Best of all is the lake !!! I could stay in the water all day.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time for our weekend get away here! The cabin is great and the kitchen is stocked very well. We caught a couple of fish and our dogs loved walking the property. Jackie is amazing and was super helpful!

So relaxing and peaceful

This is our 2nd stay at this property and we plan to stay again. Nice, quiet location with lake access and pet-friendly. Property manager is super attentive and kind!

Perfect is the best word to describe this vacation home. Peaceful and quiet . Everything you could possibly need for cooking . The owners are so kind and helpful if you have any questions they respond quickly .

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Just what the family needed. Very cozy! Loved all the small touches. The host was amazing. The new outdoor kitchen was a fun option.

Beautiful area and well maintained house.

The house has very big and well maintained land. The contact person answered within minutes and the house was clean. Great place. Definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay

We stayed here for a family event. Great place to stay with a group or alone. Spacious inside & the kitchen had all the equipment needed to cook or grill outside. Has a nice screened in patio, pavilion and easy accessible dock. We chose to rent the pontoon boat which we enjoyed. Fishing and bird life in abundance We will stay again. Just to remember this is located on a lake so you might want to bring mosquito spray.

We have always loved this rental property and look forward to it each year. The water is perfect for swimming, they have small paddle boats and kayaks available that everyone loves and the house is perfect. Lots of space and very welcoming. All around wonderful

Fun Family Time

We had such a great time at the lake. Everything was perfect. The hosts are so easy to deal with. We also rented the pontoon boat… such a cool way to see the whole lake. Can’t wait to stay again and see all the updates that are in progress
