Located directly on Seven Mile Beach along Boggy Sand Road in West Bay, our exquisite beachfront cottage invites you to immerse yourself in the charm of Caymanian heritage. Situated on the National Trust's Historical Walking Tour of old Caymanian homes, this idyllic retreat is nestled among mature seagrape trees at the tranquil northern end of Seven Mile Beach, offering a serene escape from the bustling resort areas. Please remember your water socks, as sometimes the beach can get a little rocky!

Just offshore lie some of the most renowned dive sites on the western end of Grand Cayman, while shallower reefs beckon snorkelers, with the popular Cemetery Reef just a few hundred yards south. Beautiful view

Perfect stay on seven mile beach. View is stunning with snorkeling and relaxing on the beach behind the property. Very clean and relaxing with comfortable mattresses. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Great

Excellent location and clean, comfortable cottage. The cottage is compact, but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well supplied. The highlight is definitely the patio and deck. Wonderful ocean view and easy access to the beach/water. Air conditioning/multiple fans in the cottage was great as well, to cool down during the days. And listening to the ocean waves at night was a pleasure. Just remember to bring bug spray, as they were a small issue after dark. All in all a wonderful stay at the cottage.

What a wonderful cottage in West Bay a Sunset Stunner

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: An amazing deck with the sublime sounds of the Carribean Sea washing over you as you enjoy some of the best sunset views of a lifetime. The staff is friendly, responsive, helpful and accommodating. Wished the beds were a bit softer, but that is an individual preference. The cottage was very clean on arrival and properly set up and is strategically located near Heritage Kitchen a Cayman Institution that all visitors should try and those that have will always return to. This cottage is in the #iykyk category

Great views perfect location

The view was fantastic. We love to snorkel and the best shore snorkeling was right outside our location. You need to swim out quite a ways toward the white bouys and there is a reef with tons of fish. It was like swimming in an aquarium. The house is small but we were outside all the time except to sleep. The doors to the bedrooms and bathroom are glass. We put up paper on the bathroom door since you can see into it. Other thsn that the house was perfect. Would recommend it.

Beach cottage get away

We had a lovely stay at Natulius cottage. It is quaint and comfortable and perfect for my family of 3. There was plenty of towels and the bedding was comfortable. We would highly recommend it

Perfect little cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at Nautilus Cottage. Perfect for our small family of 3. Location was wonderful, quiet little street, and the backyard is the sea! Not far from amenities. We would absolutely stay here again!

Paradise

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Nautilus Cottage. The property was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed many evenings on the deck overlooking the ocean. The beach is just a few steps away where you could snorkel. The neighborhood seemed very safe with a nice grocery store two minutes away. Lots of great restaurants nearby. If you want more action then you might want to stay further down on 7 mile beach, but if you're wanting some rest and relaxation then look no further. Thanks to Beth and Shirley for the amazing stay! We will definitely be back to Grand Cayman.

Almost perfect

Our group had a wonderful time at this home. It is at the end of 7 mile beach, so away from crowds. The outdoor furniture and hammock was put to great use. And the snorkeling out in front of the beach was the best on the island. The properties on either side of the home actually connect to this rentals decks. Luckily the groups on either side were nice. The house inside does seem somewhat dated. One negative was that all the interior doors are glass (even the bathroom) which makes it slightly uncomfortable when going with another couple. Also, the beds are listed as king and full but are only queen and full. Other than that we loved the property and the ease of snorkeling.

Gorgeous View

We were a group of 3, and loved every minute at this cottage. It was clean, cozy and had an amazing view with snorkeling available just outside the door. There isn’t a working TV in the home so if you need that then elsewhere might be better but we were content with hanging outside on the deck or going on activities in the area.

We have been traveling around Caribbean Islands and were fortunate to find beautiful places, but this one is a winner. It’s truly the best location on the island! We will be back for sure!

Perfect place right on the ocean

Perfect location with great restaurants and grocery near by, yet away from the higher traffic areas. Very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. You can’t do better than the deck overlooking the ocean with easy access to kayak and swim. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The small “shed” looking structure of the same color right next to the house is actually a separate studio Vrbo rental which surprised us and made for a very close neighbor with a connected deck. Luckily we had a great renter next door. The house was well stocked but short on seasonings other than salt/ pepper, and short on Tupperware. There was no kayak as seen in the picture but we were able to rent one. We very much enjoyed the house and would go back.

Ultimate beach bungalow

The pictures are very accurate. This is a special property right on the beach. The tide pulls sand in and out so highly recommend water shoes behind the house. It is gorgeous swimming and snorkeling right behind the house. There is a very sandy beach 5 minute walk away. It should be noted there is a one room guest cottage that looks like it is part of this rental and shares the deck to a degree. Others were there for part of our stay. Beth the long time owner of the properties is across the street and was always asking if everything was good. Very well taken care of property and an amazing location.

A great holiday

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My partner and I stayed for a week in October 2022. We found the cottage through the management company Cayman Villas, who were a delight to deal with - responsive, friendly, unbureaucratic and very knowledgeable about Grand Cayman. The cottage's interior is clearly a bit dated but all was very clean and in good working order. Location is great - walking distance to a big supermarket, the little busses are just round the corner (we both don't drive, so that was useful) and the neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. The sundeck and direct access to the water was a huge perk - we went swimming every day before breakfast and were joined afterwards by little lion tail lizards on the terrace, which we really enjoyed. Sitting outside with a Mango Tango beer and watching the rain was also a treat - we loved our week on Grand Cayman and the Nautilus Cottage was just the right thing for what we needed. If you are a couple and want a nice base from where to explore the island, be right at the water and get the "private beach feel", not slum it in a hostel but also not break the bank staying at the Ritz, Nautilus is a good option.
