This is a 3 story home with approx. 3,000 sq ft. The bottom floor has 2 BRs and 1 bath and has a full kitchen and a back porch. The main floor has an open floor plan with a full kitchen and living room as well as a back deck overlooking a pond with a fountain. This floor includes two BRs and 2.5 baths. The 3rd floor has 1 BRs and 1 bath. The house has a pool table, a ping pong table and two golf carts which can be taken to the beach. There are 3 swimming pools, a basketball court, a playground and tennis courts in the community.

This is a great house! Plenty of space for a large family/friends vacation and Oceanside village is our favorite community ever! Two golf carts is really nice to have and the property all around is beautiful!Will be returning!

Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The location is perfect. We enjoyed watching the turtles, geese and swans in the pond outside the back door. Great location and perfect for a large family. Easy, private beach access at Surfside.

Golf Trip

8 of us stayed for a week while golfing. The house had plenty of space with clean and comfortable bedrooms. We used the golf carts every day to go to the nice community pool that also offered a hot tub.The community was clean and close to great restaurants and golf courses. We hope to return again soon!

Amazing getaway

So fun golf carts were awesome, food Lion so close, beach was gorgeous sunrise at 630am. Host was amazing. Going to make this an annual family trip! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent home, lots of space, fun amenities

We enjoyed our stay very much, even during a hurricane! Golf carts are a wonderful addition, and we enjoyed the pool table and ping pong too. Lovely subdivision and very responsive hosts.

Very nice house

We enjoyed staying at this house and at the community. The house was clean and well furnished. We enjoyed the pool table and two golf carts. There is a beautiful pond right out the back door. We will stay here again.

Perfect spot

House was great! Plenty of room and the pool table and ping pong table were a big hit! Golf Carts are great for quick trips or just to do a little sight seeing. We will definitely be staying here again!

Another great stay

This is the second year we’ve rented this property and it was just what we needed. The location is perfect and the setup works well if you are traveling with people who cannot climb steps. We enjoyed all the amenities including the outdoor pool, golf carts, dog park,and beach access. Linda the property manager is super responsive and provided all the info needed for easy check in and check out.

Perfect for a family

We LOVED this house. The location was ideal for us. The space accommodated our large group perfectly. Carol was so quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. We’ve already discussed staying here again next year should the house be available for our dates!

Fantastic House

The house and neighborhood are amazing. We took my elderly parents and the first floor living accommodations were perfect. The house is well stocked with everything a family needs for a great vacay. Loved watching the turtles each day.

One of the properties we've stayed at...

Every year we do a family reunion at different locations. This year we stayed at one of the BEST properties we have ever been to. The house was so clean, the layout of the house was perfect and the neighborhood was great. The golf carts were a nice touch so we could get around and explore easily. We didn't make it to the beach but can see that the next time we book (and we will be booking again) we definitely will be doing that. Having the Food Lion right up the street was a plus as we were always needing something. Can't think of anything that would have made this stay better. Thank you so much for being part of our special Christmas family gathering.

Perfect for our much needed vacation

This house is big & spead out so if you are looking for a place like that look no farther. We loved this community & getting around the community on the provided golf carts. Upon arrival, you can go to the main building & get key cards for the private beach lot and the other gates. It's worth the $20/card & you get $10/card upon turning them in. We were somewhat disappointed in the cleanliness of the property, however, I still rated it overall 5 stars because owners aren't aware of this issue if people staying there don't make them aware, unfortunately most live hours away & have no way of checking behind the cleaning company. We did make them aware & they had switched companies after some complaints and it seems the new company wasn't doing a though job. We felt like is was very questionable about whether the comforters were actually clean so we used blankets we brought from home. The pictures on the listing are dated as you can tell the property has been used a great deal so they were likely taken years ago & the property could use a fresh coat of paint. The furniture was all great. The outside could also use some general cleaning up of the yard/landscaping as most of the bushes are overgrown & there are grill grates with grass growing over them laying in the yard. We picked up water bottles out of the yard while walking our dogs. The floors do get sandy due to the outside & sand in the driveway, but there are dyson vacuums upstairs & downstairs to help with this. The pool table was missing half the balls & the cue ball so it could not be used, which we didn't really care about. There was also trash on the golf carts. When we read the discharge instructions on the refrigerator, we saw that this was one of the things guest are supposed to take care of before they checkout. Again, the cleaners aren't making sure these things have been done. Communication with the owner was top notch and couldn't have been better. Since no one was checking out the day we arrived, the owner accomidated us arriving before the normal 3pm check-in. She was so great, I felt bad for telling her about all the issue with the cleaning company but this isn't something that can be fixed unless she knows. The beds were comfortable & the shower pressure was the best we've ever experienced at the beach. Despite all of the things that weren't great, we'd stay there again, as our issues were not directly the owners fault.

Great Family Vaca

The perfect house for a family vacation

We had 6 teenagers with us so the space was wonderful. The house it not as advertised....it is better! The owners go above and beyond to address any concerns. I read all of the previous reviews before our trip, and any complaints or suggestions had been addressed when we arrived. The beach access was very easy with the golf carts and the private beach parking. The 2 kitchens were great! Everything was great. It was clean and had a very homey feel.....As a matter of fact, we have already rebooked for next summer. Thank you Carol and Linda for sharing your home with us. We can't wait to return!

Everything We Needed For a Great Vacation!!

This house was extremely well equipped for a great family vacation. This was our 1st time staying in this area & I was a little reluctant to book because of the distance to the beach due to my 1 y/o grandbaby was with us & we would have to tote all his things. The 2 golf carts & private beach front parking lot made our beach visits a complete dream! As rookies to this community, would have liked a little more information beforehand about the security card(s) that needed to be paid for($20 p/card) to get in the side entrances to the community & into the private beach lot. Appreciated the flexibility of the owner allowing us to stay 8 nights instead of 7 so our new college grads (with no vacation time) could actually get in a full weekend of family time. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening golf cart rides through the neighborhood!! Also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong table made for incredible entertainment after the golf cart rides and on the days Hurricane Isaias visited! (This was another great plus for being a little ways off the beach front - the road at the beach flooded that night but our location was unscathed!) Loved the Dyson stick vacuums. Hate the feeling of sandy grit on my feet post shower (oxymoron at the beach - I know) but it was great to have 1 upstairs & 1 down to keep the floors tidy!! Also appreciated the beyond well equipped beach supplies in the garage. Plenty of chairs, body boards, buckets, shovels and most importantly BEACH UMBRELLAS! Again, never stayed at this beach before, we slacked up & didn’t read the beach regs on tents before our visit. Our baby tent was too big per the beach life guards but there were several umbrellas in the garage for us to use. The only disappointment we had were the conditions/cleanliness of the linens. A prior guest must have washed some of the white towels/washcloths with something red and several of them were semi pink (no biggie but you pay a fee to use the house linens that you launder yourself) the sheets that were folded on the master bed didn’t smell fresh & when we put them on the bed they had dirty stains where someone’s feet had been. The bed across from the master had a urine stain on the mattress pad and the stain had soaked through into the mattress. Some of the comforters has stains that showed through on the underneath parts. So, we spent our 1st night washing linens & flipping a mattress so we could sleep. Sent a txt but no response - Maybe should have emailed. All else A+

Great vacation home

The place was great in all account and the golf cart was a hit. Able to take all the gears and drive right on the beach was great. Only minor issue we had was the floor could of been a little cleaner. We were told that the cleaner thought we were not coming in until a later date and that's why the place was not 100% ready for us. But we had a great time and the location was great to all restaurant and things to do. Will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you

Loved this spacious home

This is our 3rd year booking with Tony, and will continue. The home is very spacious and enough room for 2 family's easy. We had a small issue with the golfcart and called Carol, Tony's partner and we had another golfcart within the hour. These folks are great to work with.
