This two bedroom, oneand a half bath is minutes to Lake DeSoto and the marina, walking trails, golf, pickle ball courts, play area, outdoor pool and more! Fully equipped kitchen and fresh, clean linens are provided! TVs in the living room and bedrooms along with a grill on the patio allow you to relax and enjoy! Laundry room is available in unit as well!This is an end unit, single story townhome with two parking spaces available directly in front! Multiple shopping and dining options just minutes away and centrally located for easy access to Hot Springs or Hot Springs Village!

The Village has 9 pristine golf courses, almost 30 miles of trails, 2 lakes with beaches and swimming areas and is a gated community. Everyone entering must be registered and receive a visitors pass at the guard gate!

2 pets up to 25 lbs each are allowed with payment of pet fee. Call manager to confirm for larger pets.

Disorganized

The check-in process was terrible. I had to text and email several times, including up to the time of my check in, to get the code for the front door. There were no local channels on the cable TV. The light above the stove was burned out. And the description says there are three beds. There are two bedrooms and a couch that could be used as a bed, but it is not a bed.

Perfect family vacation spot

This townhouse was extremely clean and organized!! Had plenty of room for my family of four with teenage boys! A relaxing and peaceful environment!! The village is really nice and in a secure location!! The locals are really friendly!

Great stay

My cousin and I rented this property for the weekend, so that we can go crystal mining. We ran into a bit of a hiccup with the door lock, but the property managers came and resolved the issue quickly. The rental is clean and comfortable. The property managers are very attentive and helpful!

Overall nice, but some minor surprises

The location was perfect, a short half mile walk to family member's home. Unit was nicely updated with newer flooring, paint, wall decor. However, we had planned to share meal prep, but kitchen utensils were inadequate (ex., 2 large pots, but no frying pan?), few drinking glasses, full knives, that sort of issue. Also, kitchen faucet was rotating in the hole, so clearly not securely tightened. MBR fan was extremely dusty and vertical shades in LR were difficult to close/operate. There was no wand for MBR verticals, so had to borrow the one from the LR. Sliding door didn't slide well and we desperately wanted a breeze instead of a/c...other window screens were missing. Due the convenience and overall condition of this unit, we would still consider renting again but would ask if issues cited here had been remedied before committing.

First time visiting Hot Springs Village

Air conditioner was not working when we checked in. The property manager got it repaired in a timely manner.

Long holiday weekend

This property is centrally located to lakes and restaurants. It's a nice little townhouse, but we had to wash dishes by hand before using anything and even then were weary of using them because there was mold inside of coffee cups. The house is nicely decorated, but some care could be put into maintenance.

Nice condo in HSV

Hot Springs Village is a quiet gated community near Hot Springs. Although it’s a gated retirement community, it’s enormous. It’s The largest gated community in the US spanning 11 miles from east gate to west gate. Lots of golf courses, nature trails and lakes etc to enjoy. This condo is not on the water but it’s roomy and clean with a full size kitchen, large living/ dining room and two bedrooms. The master is a decent size. The other bedroom relatively small but workable. The condo has cable Tv and fast WIFI. We enjoyed our 5 day stay. A couple of notes: The bedroom doors do not lock, so if you’re looking for lockable privacy, bring a door stop or something. You will need 2 doorstops per room. There’s only one shower and although it’s ok pressure and heat wise, the shower head is mounted only about 5’6” high. I’m 5’9” and I had to duck to get under it. Not a big deal for me at all, but if you’re particularly tall, it might be. The condo is close to the west gate, where you’ll find a couple of restaurants and a little supermarket, whose prices are not exorbitant. There’s a Wal-Mart 2 miles outside of the West gate. It’s also only about 20 minutes from downtown Hot Springs. Note that most things, including Walmart, seem to close between 8-9pm. There did not appear to be much in the way of “nightlife” unless you go to Hot Springs itself. Lastly, this is another one of those VRBO deals that is not really “for rent BY OWNER.” It might be privately owned but it is managed through a real estate company that you can book through directly, so save yourself the exorbitant VRBO website fee and book directly through Janette Carter with Taylor Realty Group. She was amazingly responsive via phone and text. 951-333-7777. All in all, this is an excellent place for a couple or a small family to explore HSV and surrounding area, if you don’t need to be directly on the water.

Hall of Fame, 2019 Triple Diamond Award winning TEAM LEADER, Kimberly Taylor has been a Licensed Realtor in Hot Springs Village since 2006, after teaching school for 15 years. Kimberly’s feature in Top Agent Magazine along with being in the Hall of Fame, along with many other local and national awards, demonstrate her active role in the real estate market.

Kimberly’s philosophy and foundation of her successful and growing business comes from Philippians 2:4: “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit but in humility consider others above yourself. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”

Raised in central Mississippi, Kimberly has been involved in real estate all of her life! The daughter of Realtors/Developers, Kimberly recalls, “I started working in Mom’s real estate office when I was 10! I remember looking up her homes to show in a black and white MLS book, then walking to the other agencies in town to pick up keys!”

She became licensed at 18 in Mississippi and sold for 2 years while attending Hinds Community College where she earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Kimberly graduated from Mississippi State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Certified in MS, TN, and AR, Kimberly taught pk-12 over her career.

This property has a Blink camera system installed at the front door and on the back patio. These cameras are not recording activity during visitor stays. If there is trouble with a client getting in for their visit, they can speak with the owner through the front door camera for further instructions.
