Clean, open floor plan with large dining table, living room, small covered front porch, and large back deck. Gas fireplace, Solo Stove Fire Pit on Deck, Gas Grill, Wifi, Two Smart TVs. Full kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer. Highlands charm with all the modern comforts! Hike, fish, shop or relax!

Great location to downtown Highlands for dining or shopping but yet still feels secluded with all the surrounding trees. You have everything you need here at the rental and beautiful area to explore!

Lovely, well-appointed cabin on a beautiful piece of property. Perfect balance of feeling very private and “in the woods” yet very accessible to town, hiking and other activities. We absolutely loved it! Unending opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Close to town: great shopping, food and people watching (interesting mix of country club and outdoorsy vibes). Quite enjoyable and we’d love to stay again!

We gave this property 5 stars, and for good reason. Even though personal circumstances meant we weren’t able to leave the house on Saturday, it still felt like a lovely weekend away. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, making it easy to enjoy our time there. It’s definitely a place you don’t mind staying in, and we’d happily return!

We loved our stay at Tree Tops. It was a lovely home. So comfortable and cute. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. And we loved that it was so convenient to downtown Highlands. We stayed a week, but could have stayed a month! Hopefully we can return again soon.

Perfect Highlands Getaway

Our family had a wonderful visit at Tree Tops. The location was perfect for exploring the area, the house was clean and well-stocked, and communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommend!

We had a great time in Highlands and all agreed that this was an adorable, very clean house! They even decorated for Christmas which was a nice surprise!

Beautiful property, very spacious and even more inviting in person. Well stocked with anything needed and it felt like being in our own home. It is an old house so it has a few quirks that I wish I would have known (panic attack after not being able to get out of the master bathroom but luckily hubby “rescued” me - lol! It’ll be one of those stories we remember) but all in all it was one of our all time favorite Highlands rentals! Stunning decor!

Wonderful stay

We had such a great few days in Highlands. The house was adorable and in a great location. It is very close to downtown Highlands, but still tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the woods. We enjoyed the fireplace! Kadie was amazing and responded quickly to any questions I had.

Girls Trip

We loved this property. Five women and plenty of space to spread out. It snowed about 6 inches and we hunkered down and enjoyed the snow. Highlands is a fun place to shop, eat and drink! Would definitely stay here again.

Quick get away!

After spending a weekend in Atlanta area, we decided on taking a few days in Highlands before returning to Florida. Wanted a home near town but easy access to Cashiers, allow our pup to be with us and updated. Tree Tops hit all those and more! So enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful

As soon as we arrived I knew this would be a place I needed to enjoy. We were part of a wedding taking place in Glenville. The pace of wedding events can leave you full of joy, but also needing a quiet place. Coming back to this beautiful home was the perfect place.

Spacious, Updated, and close to town!

This is a great spot for a family or small group, with plenty of room. We were surprised at how much room there was (we've stayed in a few houses in the area and they always feel cramped). It was updated and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The owners were super responsive and made the process very easy. It's also very close to town so that makes it so convenient to go back and forth. This is a beautiful home and we'll surely be back.

Wedding @ Old Edwards, Highlands

Four day excursion as our daughter got married. Cottage is in a great location close to Highlands and Cashiers and yet in a peaceful, secluded area. Close to town & shopping & restaurants. Cottage was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Impressed with location, check-in process, overall communication, and comforts of the cottage (deck, fireplace, fire pit, beds, and open floor plan). Great place! Will definitely come back......

Great Location & Cozy Spot

Cozy spot close to town with enough space for family to get together. Large living room provided ample and comfortable space for games, movies, and relaxing. Kitchen had the basics for preparing lunch and the gas grill was a good bonus. Hosts were friendly and allowed an early check-in option which was helpful to us. Only suggestions would be providing extra pillows, towels, tupperware - some basics for those that are really hunkering down for the weekend with family. Would stay again!

Absolutely Loved!

My friends and I stayed here for our first annual girls trip and absolutely loved it! Kadie, the own was awesome to work with. She responded quickly to all of my questions. The property was seriously one of the cleanest VRBO's I've ever seen. There wasn't even water spots on the glasses! The property is literally a 2 minute drive to town. So convenient!! We will definitely be back next year!

A week in the highlands

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Highlands home. The location was perfectly scenic, and we had fun looking for deer on our drives up to the house (and got to see quite a few!). While it felt remote, we were also only minutes from the rec center, the baked bunny (our new favorite pastry and dessert spot!), calders coffee, and Main Street. The bunk beds room was perfect for our 3 kids (ages 3, 5 and 7), and the hook toss game out on the back porch was so fun we ended up getting one for our home! We also greatly appreciated the paper towels, toilet paper, detergent and other items that were available for us to use, as we know that is not always the case with rental properties. Overall amazing stay!
