ONLY 2 HRS FROM MINNEAPOLIS!!
Nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Minong Wisconsin. Surrounded by trees with an expansive deck that overlooks the lake, this spacious three bedroom lake cabin with a loft, 4 seasons room and bar area provides a peaceful, serene, relaxing fun environment that family and friends can enjoy. Guest can also enjoy access to ton of ATV/ SNOWMOBILE and hiking trails in the beautiful Northwoods.
THE CABIN:
Sleeps 8-10 people comfortably.
Cabin has three Queen beds, two Full beds and a Futon bed in the loft area. There is also a Futon bed in the four seasons room.
Spacious living room and dining area.
Spacious 4 season room.
FUN LOWER LEVEL BAR.
Washer and dryer in lower level.
Picnic bench for outside dining.
Electric wood pellet smoker and Charcoal grill.
OUTDOOR FIREPIT.
CABIN HAS A PRIVATE DOCK.
THIS COZY CABIN HAS A HUGE DECK THAT OVERLOOKS MIDDLE LAKE.
MIDDLE LAKE CONNECTS TO SOUTH TWINS LAKE. BOTH LAKES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO EACH OTHER BY BOAT, PONTOON, JET SKIS ETC.
Pontoon and Boat rentals available in the area. Businesses will deliver and launch the pontoon/boat for you!
THE AREA IS PACKED WITH ATV AND SNOWMOBILE TRAILS! The nearest ATV trail starts at the end of Middle Road, about 1 mile or less from the cabin. The trails follow the roads (ride on roads) as well as through the woods. The trail at the end of Middle Road will connect to 100's of miles of trails.

LAKE LEVELS UPDATE: Due to the the persisting drought like conditions in the area, Lake levels are very low going into this summer. The channel that connects Middle lake to South Twins lake is currently impassable. For safety reasons, the dock will not be put out this summer due the very low lake levels.

Super sad there was a hot tub guests couldnt use very disappointed dock wasnt n water for fishing and temp in house was 82 at arrival

It was made clear in the listing that Hottub is off limits to guests and that the dock wouldn't be in due to very low lake levels. As for the temp the cabin was set, my apologies for that inconvenience. Thank you for staying at the cabin.

Overall the cabin was spectacular. Very spacious, clean, very private, and super cute inside. Loved you could bring your fur babies. The only complaint is the swimming accommodations. It was so muddy that we could not let the dogs swim and there was no dock area. If you are looking for a cabin without water access this is highly recommend.

The cabin space was perfect. Plenty of room and the bar area downstairs was nice for hanging out and not disturbing people sleeping upstairs. The outdoor deck and fire pit were great for relaxing. Overall the place was perfect other than the lake. The lake was weedy, mucky and dirty. This may or may not have been because the water was so low but we couldn’t even go in the water. There is a great beach area about 3 miles away that we did go to and it was very nice but a bit disappointing that we couldn’t swim, tube or boat in the lake. Other than that I would have given 5 stars, the cabin, the property and the owners were wonderful and overall we had a great weekend. I would highly recommend this place if swimming is not your main goal.

Communication was excellent with fast responses to every message. The place was beautiful and we were informed about the low lake, which was beautiful to look at but unable to use. We were there for ATV trails, so that didn't matter as much to us. The was more than we typically spend for a weekend vacation, however the rates in the whole Minong area are higher as a whole, so a decent price for that area. Kitchen is small, but had everything we might have needed. It was a great stay and we are looking forward to booking again.

This house was super clean, communication was phenomenal but not having a dock access since the water was down really stinks. However, that was well communicated to us in advance. There were a couple of issues with house- front door doesn’t open all the way due to the flooring being uneven. Not a huge deal, but made it hard to carry in luggage or backpacks. The deck was super nice and large but many nails halfway up making it hard to have kids run outside. Otherwise we had a great stay and the host was great to work with.

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful cabin. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and enjoyable. We will stay here again!

Very clean and well-stocked (plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, which was great!). Relaxing area— ideal for good sleep and board games. We always come prepared in case there is nothing in the cabinets but there were some staples like sugar— I would probably go through those though because a few of the other spices we looked at were expired. I would also say that the night lights throughout were great as were the kid dishes but there were a lot of breakable knickknacks close to little hands so we just moved them out of reach. Upstairs loft is great for kids but one of the beds is VERY close to the stairs so don’t know if I would encourage anyone to use it. So sleeps closer to 9 than 10 but wasn’t a problem for us. Host was very responsive to any questions. Bar area does not have a fridge which is fine but was a surprise! Fridge upstairs is broken in several areas which made stocking a bit tricky but worked fine. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware just no measuring cups only measuring spoons if you plan to cook anything that needs a cup. Lake is low this year but super easy drive to other boat landings and beaches. Found a cute ice cream shop close by— The Shoppe. And explored the town of Spooner on a rainy day. Both very worth the drive. Only other note would be that the main area does get quite hot during the day, even with a/c, which makes sense with the lovely view. Just wish there had been a few more shades on the rectangular windows for temp/light control.

Thank you for staying at the cabin. My apologies about the fridge door rails. They were broken by past guests. It has been difficult to get the right replacement parts. As for the seasonings, what is in there is what was left by previous guests. They are inspected periodically and discarded if expired. My apologies about the expired ones.. There's also measuring cups in the cupboards. Again, thank you for staying at the cabin and my apologies for any inconvenience you encountered.

Wonderful place to stay!
We stayed with family and friends, and have 0 complaints. The house was pretty, comfortable and well equipped. The property also felt isolated and private, which we really enjoyed. Thank you so much!!

Annual family get away
We’ve stayed here for the last 3 years, always enjoy the cabin, lake and the general area . Lots to do , good fishing and a nice relaxing time .

Great place and great stay
We had a great time with our stay. The communication was great and the place was exactly as seen and as described. It was quiet and nice to have our own access to the lake with the dock.

Great stay
We booked this for friends so I don't have first-hand experience with the cabin, but communication with Germel before the stay was great and our friends said they had a great time there.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed staying at this home. Loved the great room with the wood burning fireplace and view of the lake. It was a good place to relax and recharge during the winter.

Great relaxing getaway
Perfect spot for relaxing fun with the family. The kids loved playing in the water and catching their first fish right from the dock.
