Banks Mill Guest House is nestled on a 22 acre property just 4 miles away from Downtown Aiken and 1.5 miles to Aiken's Southside. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the back porch with views of the paddocks before you spend the day exploring historic Aiken.

Fully furnished kitchen with all major appliances (including dishwasher) and a full size washer + dryer in the laundry area.

The house easily accommodates groups or families - dogs are welcome, too!

Equestrian Guests: The property also has 1 barn with 6 stalls available for rent with tack room, paddocks and a sand arena. Horse trailer parking also available on the property. Please DM for boarding information.

Aiken Horse Country

Our family, some of whom still live in Aiken, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location and layout of the residence is ideal and Kena was a most gracious and accomadating host. We would go back.

Home away from home at home

The hosts of this property have been absolutely amazing from stay #1 and I believe we are on stay 5! Well appointed for basic cooking needs - comfy beds and cozy bedding … quiet and private on a beautiful property just minutes from downtown and equestrian eventing facilities. As an Aiken native who comes home often, this is our favorite place to land and unwind!

Thanksgiving Home

We have stayed at this property several times and are always pleased. Comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen if needed and beautiful property. I grew up in Aiken and when we return for family gatherings this property is perfect for us!

Great farmhouse type property and quiet

Clean and functional farmhouse that brought us back for a second stay. Hosts are responsive and easy to communicate with for arrival information and available if any issues should come up. Enjoyed it again!

Perfect stay

Kena’s place was the perfect home base for our golf/Masters trip. Communication and flexibility were exceptional, the house was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Hope to be back soon!

Awesome Stay

Kena was an amazing host. The house worked perfectly for our family for 3 1/2 weeks while our house was being worked on. The house is very comfortable and conveniently located.

Set in the pretty Aiken countryside. Lovely stay

Very pleasant and enjoyed the house and property. Thank you ! Both porches needed sweeping and furniture wiping as we had our little grands outside- but the house, yard and host were delightful.

Wonderful property with a great location

Kena and Chris have a beautiful property. Plenty of room to walk around. The house is spacious with a great front porch for morning coffee and a great screened in porch for dinner. Beds are all comfortable, plenty of towels, incredibly good A/C (can freeze you out) which is good for the hot days of summer. Their response time was really quick. And they made it really easy for checking in and answering any questions. The location is outside of town but not far and relatively close to wherever you need to go in Aiken. We will definitely be back to this house.

Perfect Quiet Retreat

While in Aiken for a family wedding we were lucky enough to find this property - nestled in a quiet nook on the property of a large old equestrian farm. To sum it up - Host was amazing, property was clean and private, comfy beds and pillows, great bathroom spaces with good lighting for makeup application, nice kitchen … basically perfect for a family with space to stretch out and not be on top of each other. Looking to book again for the holidays!

Pleasant and comfortable.

Easy Check-In, Fantastic Location, Pet Friendly

Wonderful quiet stay, has a country feel to it with huge yard, horse farm, but 6 minutes from shops and restaurants. My dogs enjoyed watching the birds and squirrels from the screened porch. There is also a fenced yard as shown in pictures. The mattresses were comfortable, the bathrooms had some toiletries available if needed, and all linens were provided. It’s not real fancy inside, so if you’re expecting luxurious decor this isn’t for you, but everything was in working order, clean, and practical. The yard was mowed and maintained. We enjoyed our brief visit to attend a family reunion, but plan to come back again to explore historic Aiken. Thank you to the hosts. We would not hesitate to rent this house again. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Great location and all the comforts of home. Pet-friendly, too, with a fenced yard. Kena was very responsive, and she made our stay very easy.

Super Convenient

We just moved to Aiken after selling our home in NC. We needed a place to stay with our dogs and a few boxes that we had with us until our home purchase in Aiken was completed. House has a GREAT, convenient location. Layout is spacious and comfortable with master on main and two bedrooms upstairs. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Large, fenced in yard was a wonderful added bonus for our furbabies. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this property

We didn't get to spend much time there due to going to a wedding while we were there. There is a lot of space and it has a really good layout. It is well stocked.

Great Family Home

Perfect Place for Our Needs!

We VRBO a fair amount. This is the coziest and most welcoming place we’ve ever stayed! Plenty of paper towels, TP, even laundry detergent and bleach! Full size toiletries throughout the house! Plus a fenced yard for our dogs! We will definitely stay here again when visiting family in the area!! Great, safe neighborhood. No issues with anything!

Real Wood Fireplace

We were treated to free wood for the fireplace which made our meeting with local relatives a fun time. The location is close to the city businesses but isolated on a large property which made our dog very happy. The owner took the time to visit with us and was very nice in every respect. We would recommend this pet and people friendly place to anyone.

Secluded location

House was secluded in Aiken. At night it was difficult to find the narrow driveway. The house is sparsely furnished, example, no chair to sit on in bedrooms. Furniture was quite old, house did not smell fresh. The lighting was very bad. All of the fixture lights were very bright white light spotlights, which were too bright to have on, but if turned off the house was dark. the string of spotlights strung across the living room turned on and off by themselves, we had to unplug it. Only one TV in the house and it was small and difficult to watch from the seating locations.
