This was our third stay at the cottage and it never disappoints. Lovely place with beautiful views and a very nice boat house and dock for your boat. Good fishing and crabbing close by.

We had an amazing experience at this cottage. We caught several different species of fish from the dock (redfish, drum, whiting, blue crabs). The view was amazing. The home was so nice and comfortable. We look forward to coming back. Hidden Gem Privacy & Nature. The host was great! Beautiful Place!

Wheeler Cottage is such a beautiful cottage. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again in the future. It has plenty of space to get outside, a nice fire pit, docks on the river, swing facing the river. It was just a lovely place. Also, close to the beaches in Fernandina and great restaurants close in Kingsland and St. Mary’s.

The house was pristine and absolutely comfortable and welcoming. Having the boat dock available was a huge plus! The property and view was perfect for a get away! Danny was super helpful with questions regarding the area / boating. We truly enjoyed our get away there! Thank you!

Had a great time. Dock was very nice, fishing was great. Very nice view of the water. I will most definitely be renting this place again. Thanks to the owners for making this spot available.

Lovely viewI am a bird watcher so there were lots of birds on the property and at parks close by. Cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would go there again.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!! The house was very clean and had everything you needed. The views were amazing, we loved getting to see the dolphins swim by! The location is perfect, close to everything you need but also perfect for a quiet relaxing getaway. Thanks for an awesome vacation!

Ideal location for walking Savannah. Bus stop is close by, but don't ride on weekends since service is scarce. Neighbors are friendly and you can't hear them. The space inside the home is used well. There is a nicely updated shower upstairs. Having a parking space on the property saved us a lot of money and was extremely convenient. I enjoyed my stay. I wanted to rent a place near one of the squares, so I could walk the city. This place was historic and convenient. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. We came for the fishing but the house was a fantastic bonus! The kitchen is well appointed if you want to prepare meals there. We went out for dinner the nights we stayed. There are some good restaurants a couple of exits down on I95. We both highly recommend this house & would like to stay here again. Check in was super easy.

Perfect spot. Host made it so easy. It’s so peaceful and better than the photos! We fished off the dock and relaxed at the fire pit with family. We will come back to this spot.

Awesome place to stay

We spent 3 nights here and enjoyed every bit of it. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Plenty of privacy and incredible views of the River.

Fantastic views and location

This is a great quiet location with incredible views. Very clean, owners very responsive. The dock was incredible and catches the breeze and provides shade so despite hot temperatures it was very comfortable.
