Our family homeplace will provide you a great vacation escape. Bring your boat and dock it on the beautiful, clean Satilla River. Swim in the heated pool or fish in the pond. You can even learn pickleball or play tennis on your own private court. Home sleeps ten--so it's the perfect place for a family gathering!

Woodbine is a small Southern coastal Georgia town within an easy drive to Brunswick, GA, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, and Amelia Island, FL to the south. There's a cafe uptown that serves lunch on weekdays, a local hangout called Captain Stan's that has pretty good food, and a grocery store to meet your needs. The big city of Jacksonville is 45 minutes away, and the airport there is even closer. The Okefenokee Swamp provides a fascinating view of raw nature (alligators!) and is only 45 minutes away in Charlton County.

This home is ideal for those who want peace and serenity with river access.

Our outdoors campfire area will prove fun on cooler evenings. Roast weenies and marshmallows, sit around the fire, and swap stories. Create memories at Cypress Point!

Awesome and quiet place tucked away in a small town but near anything you would possibly need. I wanted a quiet place to train and relax and this place was perfect. Spending the day doin tennis drills, rinsing off, and then hopping in a pool was about as good as it gets. I got to chat and walk around with the owner who is a fantastic guy and it was cool to learn about the history of the property. This is an awesome spot and I intend to come back in the fall for some more training and relaxing.

We found the home location easily, the home was cool and clean when we arrived. The layout and furnishings were comfortable and great for families, and being a historic site was a bonus. Family really enjoyed the pool area and having the grill clean and ready to use. The grill and dining area on the patio was used daily. Equipment for fishing, tennis and biking were available. Property and virwseere spectacular it was like a park. Pool was great we spent most of our time relaxing jn the water. House was very comfortable everything worked. Due to the difference in tide the water is completely inaccessible from the land at low tide. If you are wanting to kayak or launch a small boat you would be unable to do so at any time other than high tide. The house was great. Clean rooms, the pool was very nice. Overall, we had a great time.

Thanks Christopher. We are only 17 water miles from the Intercoastal Waterway. There is about a 5 foot difference in high and low tide. Just nature. Joel.

The home and pool were awesome. It is an older home but so very similar to my current home which I love. The only issue we had was losing internet connection alot. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone who enjoys a quiet, small town with a private pool.

Great property for rest and relaxation. We enjoyed the dock and pool throughout our stay. Having the golf cart was definitely a bonus. Joel was very responsive and even checked in on us after check in. We would recommend this property to others!

We hosted my daughter’s grad party at this home and it was amazing! The pool and yard were great for entertaining. The home was clean and has such a cozy feel. The teens enjoyed riding bikes and playing tennis. It was the best weekend with family and friends!

Words can not describe how beautiful this place is. The pictures online do not do it justice. It was the most beautiful thing to watch the sunrise and sunset. Peaceful, family oriented, and just stunning views. Our family enjoyed everything it had to offer. Mr.Joel went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We were so thankful for the time we spent together and this beautiful family home!!! We can’t wait to return.

My fiancé and I traveled here with family for the week of the 4th of July 2026. Words cannot describe how beautiful and peaceful this little slice of Heaven was to us. The owner is very kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed and more. We even got a visit from his sweet dog. The screened in pool was beyond great. The property was so well maintained and cared for. The home was clean and well stocked with everything you need including cable. There are plenty of things to do while you are there, there are bicycles and a golf cart available for transporting yourselfs to the dock, the beds are comfy, the home is unique with a lot of cool antique items blended in perfectly to admire, it has a very warm and comfortable feeling and is very loved by the owner.. and us! We ended our trip with a fireworks show on the beach at Jekyll Island, we had a blast to say the least!

Very relaxing

Very nice property, took our boat out on the river caught a few catfish but mostly spent our time relaxing in the pool. Beds were extremely comfortable, more than enough room for our party of 8. Great stay

Perfect place for a family getaway

It was so amazing staying at this place we went for a weekend and enjoyed it so much we're going to book again for next year. If you want just peace and quiet and family time this is the perfect place.

Our perfect weekend get away!

We have stayed here twice already, and we absolutely love coming down and relaxing on such a beautiful property. It is the perfect getaway for our two families (4 adults and 6 kids).

Lovely home with a fabulous host

This is the second time my family has gone to this house and it is wonderful time for family The fact that we had the pool at any time we wanted to it was just for us and I felt like I was in my own home it felt so nice being there and the host is so kind!!!!

Great Place to stay!

The place was quiet, relaxing and peaceful. Great spot for fishing, walking, and hiking and swimming in the pool. I recommend it to anyone wanting to just getaway and relax.

Henry Williams, Sr. and his wife Bebe built their home--Cypress Point--outside of Woodbine, GA in 1959. Current owners are brothers Joel and Henry Williams. The brothers participated in land-clearing, pond-digging, and some brick cleaning during the building. Bricks for the house came from the historic Oglethorpe Hotel in Brunswick. It's a family joke that Henry, Sr. was a hard taskmaster, paying the boys 'a penny a brick' for knocking the old mortar off the bricks. In reality, the boys cleaned very few bricks, but the story persists. Joel and Henry sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay at Cypress Point with all its Southern charm and beauty!

We've turned this property into a VRBO because we grew up here and love the land. We want our grandchildren to have the fun we had growing up. The opportunities are endless! Fish in the pond, ski in the river, play pickleball or tennis on your own private court, swim in the heated pool, learn to paddle a john-boat, roast marshmallows over the fire pit, hop on the golf cart for a town tour, ride the bikes around Woodbine or on the beautiful trail, or go to see one of our local sights: the Okefenokee Swamp, Cumberland Island National Seashore, historic St. Marys, Amelia beaches, quaint Fernandina, picturesque St. Simons Island, or the beaches and historic millionaires' cottages on Jekyll Island.
