As advertised

We went on this trip with our multiple generations, and everyone was able to find something enjoyable to keep themselves occupied. Be aware that mosquitoes are a significant problem throughout the backyard, but no more than you'd expect from any waterfront property.

A few days away

We were impressed with the property overall. It was better than we expected. Well laid out with all the amenities we needed and then some. The supplied activities were enough to keep all ages entertained. From board games and video game to water sports, it was all there.

Great Place to stay near Calgary

Five of us stayed at this property while attending the Rotary International Convention. It was a great space with plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, teas and the appliance closet is great. The internet was great. Great tv channel selections for the few brief minutes we were at the house. We also would have loved to use the amazing kayaks and canoe. Wetsuits are required. The outdoor and fire pit area is beautiful.

Great family stay

We flew into Calgary for a family weekend and had a wonderful time. The house was big, clean and well equipped with cooking supplies. It was great to have so many bathrooms. Anthony was a great host and opened the hot tub for us! Beautiful property on the lake where we could play lawn games and then have a fire by the dock at night. Highly recommend!

Spectacular!

Lake view is life

Loved the location and that Aj was always so quick to reply with any questions or needs. Best stocked Vrbo I have ever stayed at with condiments and spices. Would highly recommend!!

We walked across the frozen lake!

AJ’s property is clearly well taken care of. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the location, the amenities, the ample space, and the beautiful scenery. AJ was very responsive and accommodating. We were sad to leave!

We were very happy with our stay there. It was a perfect place for a group of adult siblings from all over to come together to spend time together. The rooms were great, the dock area was great, and the shared area was perfect for us all to congregate each day. We would definitely stay there again!

The lake... need I say more

The house is kid friendly with lots of things to keep the kids entertained. The lake patio area was very relaxing. AJ was great and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would stay here again.

Pure perfection

We stayed 3 nights with adults and kids. The house is very clean and HUGE and set up perfectly for large groups. Main floor has 3 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a large TV with all of the options. Upstairs is a large suite! Kitchen is fully stocked. 2 dishwashers! High-end oven and laundry. The AC kept the house at a perfect temp. Tonnes of extras- games, life jackets, toys, wetsuits. The yard is fully fenced in and is really big. We spent lots of time in the lake and on the dock. The dock area is shallow enough for kids to touch. We got lots of use out of the kayaks and all of the inflatables! The fire pit is fantastic and right on the lake. Hot tub was clean and nice. The owner offered to take us on the pontoon to watch the Canada Day fire works- it was fantastic! Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Calgary/ Chestermere.

Ladies Golf Getaway

Great accommodation and views for our autumn golf getaway. Our only regret is that we did not have an extra day set aside to just sit back and thoroughly enjoy the property, ie swimming, boating, relaxing on the deck. Maybe next time!

Perfect Place to Stay and Play

Quiet location close to all amenities. Lake front made it so easy to canoe, kayak, and enjoy a coffee/bevie on the dock. Huge yard with room to play volleyball and badminton. And plenty of room for our two pups to hangout. The property is fully fenced so it is safe and secure. Fully stocked with everything needed to prep and cook meals. It was a lovely stay and we will be back.

Great Home

I would recommend this home for anyone. We needed a place to stay while attending my Brother in law's funeral. Tough time for us and AJ the owner was very accommodating for us. The master suite is amazing. Having a heated garage is a huge bonus in the winter time. We were very comfortable for the entire time we stayed there. If we need to be back there, we will definitely be looking to book this home again.

Best Family Spot!!!

This property exceeded our (already high) expectations. Our multi-generational family spent three nights in this lovely spot. The house was perfect for large family meals, playing one game all together or multiple games in groups. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was great, lots of bedroom and bathroom space. The pool table and foosball table were fun for kids and adults alike. The outdoor space rivalled the indoor, we fished, kayaked, swam, and enjoyed the phenomenal sitting area and fire pit on the waterfront. The host is responsive to questions and gave us a great boat tour of the area. Everyone is already asking if we can go back next year. If you’re considering this property and the space is available, book it!!

Stumbled open Chestermere in the early 80's on an evening drive in my 20's.
Stopped by the bridge, it was a summer night, the lights shimmering on the water.
I instantly knew this was the place I wanted to live, & only 20 minutes from Calgary.
I loved waterskiing, came out here as much as possible to do it.
Took 15 years, finally bought the 1000sq. ft. bungalow for $266,000 in 2000.
I built the sunroom addition in 2003, and 2 story addition in 2009.
Raised 5 kids including triplets, plus my Dad, at one time there was 7 of us.
Explains the 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
2 bedrooms & 2 baths are now in the separate basement suite,.
Was a summer village of 2,200, now population is over 28,000.

we've had some great parties there, including a couple bands.
