Great location and comfortable stay. Some grime in the hot tub and on kitchen cabinets, which was a little unpleasant but would stay again.

Great stay near the ski hill

We had a quick weekend trip and the kids loved the backyard which was perfect for snow play time. Very quick access to the ski hill and a cozy stay.

Great summer retreat

The cabin was perfect for our family. We were close to hiking trials, the amenities, and downtown. The cabin was in great shape, clean, and the perfect spot to hang after a long day.

Wonderful!

We loved our stay! The cabin was spotless, had great kitchen amenities to use for cooking, a wonderful hot tub, comfortable clean beds, and plenty of room for all. Anytime we come to the mountains, this will be our first choice in cabins to rent!

Wonderful Stockholm Vista Cabin

Our family had a wonderful weekend stay at Stockholm Vista Cabin. This cabin had lots of room for our family to relax. The decks were perfect for BBQ, reading and keeping the dogs secure. My adult kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the nearby hiking trails. The perfect peaceful getaway in Truckee.

Ski week trip

2 families, wanted to be close to ski mountains and have enough space to hang out. Wonderful home, very clean and comfortable! Had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Great home

Our stay was pleasant. The home was everything we could ask for, very spacious. Our family came for the weekend to spend Easter with us and left. The house is very spacious and accommodating for all. Dog friendly, and even a hot tub. Plenty of linens and towels and kitchen was fully stocked with your cooking essentials.

Winter Vacation 2021

We loved staying at Stockholm Vista! The house was everything we wished for. We especially liked playing in the snow with our grandchildren right behind the house. The house was spotless, had everything we needed to cook our meals, and was conveniently located near the cross country skiing area. We hope to be back soon!

Tahoe Donner

Love this home, will definitely be back! There were 8 of us, and the home felt very comfortable. We did have an issue with the Hot Tub, but Tahoe Getaways was amazing and came right out and fixed it! Seriously...Tahoe Getaways could not have been more responsive so I will continue renting from them for sure!

Perfect Family Vacation!

This was the perfect house for our Tahoe vacation that included our adult children, their spouses and our two grandchildren. The house is in a great location with awesome views of the surrounding mountains. We enjoyed playing in the snow behind the house with our grandchildren. The house and hot tub were spotless and the great room was spacious enough to fit us all comfortably. The house came with everything one needs to cook meals and have fun in the snow (sleds). We experienced a short power outage which led to difficulties with the garage door. The property manager was very responsive and took care of us quickly. We would definitely rent this place again. The whole family had a great time!

Never rent from Tahoe Getaways Again.

house was great. But the management company Tahoe Getaways was horrible. we got snowed in on a very heavy week of snowing. the day of checkout there was 4-5ft of snow on the public street and the 125-150ft of driveway. that required a all wheel or 4wheel drive vehicle to get up in the winter according to there rental agreement. when I told them about the snow they told me to grab a shovel and start shoveling because I had to leave. Long story short this happened for 2days. one of the worst snowstorms on truckee in 30yrs. and I got charged for 2 extra days at the prime time price (minus a few hundred dollars). I don't mind be charged but not at the prime time amount. and the total lack of compassion from the staff was very sad. I will never support Tahoe Getaways again. I have been renting from VRBO for years and have never encountered an issue like this. Good riddance Tahoe Getaways.

We are sorry to see such a negative review. The Tahoe region is known for severe weather. We work with guests when travel becomes impossible. I think this guest just thought he should be able to stay for no charge.

Midweek ski trip with the family and dogs

I would first just like to say I appreciate the owners allowing pets at their property. They are becoming harder to find. The house in general was good, neighborhood was quiet and located 2 minutes from the ski resort. The only thing that would stop me from renting or recommending this property to someone else was the master bed was probably the worst bed we have ever slept on. It was loud, creaky and like a rock. Not being able to sleep on a trip is the worst, and at this moment I'm trying to catch back up on the loss of sleep and relax the achy back. 😔

Lovely home!

We had a wonderful stay here, despite the wildfire smoke! The house is spacious and well thought out. The bedroom upstairs has a gorgeous massive bathroom with great views outside. Comfy beds! And the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was a nice way to end our days. Hiking is close by and the neighborhood is lovely. Would happily stay here again!

Beautiful centrally located family lodge

Perfect spot for our family trip! Easy check in process and beautiful and comfortable home with all the amenities and close to the slopes. We will be back!

Nice stay

My family and I stayed for the weekend for a get away. This property is very clean and comfy. Stockholm responds very quickly on all questions and issues. We plan to stay at this property again in the future.

Amazing Stay

Stockholm Vista property was perfect for our family. The house was clean, well stocked and a nice location. And the Tahoe Getaways team was very prompt when we had called with a few questions. Will definitely stay here again.

Stockholm Vista

The guest hand towels in 2 bathrooms were soiled along with the shower mat in the master bath. Otherwise, the home was pretty ideal for our family. Your service made it easy for us to check in/out as well. We'll rent again in the future!

review

Everything was pretty good and well stocked. There were a few issues to report 1) The living room ceiling fan is very loose. Almost falling off when running, seems dangerous. 2) The comforters all seemed to have dog hair on them. They need a good washing 3) The dryer wouldn't stay on for longer than 15min. It was erroring on cleaning the lint screen even though it was clean. 4) We found alot of spiders when we arrived. The towels were very nice, the sleds and snow gear appreciated(salt, shovels), fireplace worked very well, and hottub was cleaned out and not cruddy, but it wasn't ready until late Friday night. We couldn't find a cover for the bbq.
