Hi Janet, while we appreciate your feedback we're also quite surprised as 2 STARS would mean a horrible experience which it doesn't seem you had given we never heard from you during your stay and you said the "Inside was clean". Please understand that we're in the forest, and housekeeping cleans inside, not outside which yes is exposed to pine needles and pollen at times. So much work and many teams work together to provide such clean and reliable properties, and we continue to receive 5STAR reviews before and after you, and all Summer really. To give a 2STAR review because it's dirty outside, well it's just not reasonable, but we will try and keep a closer eye on sweeping decks during our "Arrival Inspection" as this isn't something housekeepers do, but we do when the pollen hits early and fast which happens once or twice each year and typically early season. We've reached out to HK however for a reminder regarding cobwebs. Everything did seem in order upon our arrival inspection so this comes as quite the surprise and we hope you have a better experience at other not TAP properties in the future. - TAP

Karin, we're sorry to hear that your stay with us was not to your liking. We have received nothing but 5 STAR reviews over 2 years so this does seem a bit strange. If the price seemed high to you then we wonder why did you choose this home at this price when total pricing is shown at checkout including all taxes and fees, even VRBO 3rd party fees. Given the upkeep, condition, stock, amenities, and hot tub and more, we are priced very competitively and booked constantly. We do provide pump soap, as well as shampoo and body wash in each bathroom, and we in our emails leading up to arrival include a link to our website page showing what we stock. Kleenex is not on the list. As for our emails, there are only 3 (Check-In/Out Details 5 Days Prior and County/Town STR Rules 2X) which are typically well received at all 20+ homes along with our industry standard departure instructions. For example, trash must be taken out to the Bear Box around here (in driveway), to avoid smell and Bear Break-Ins. All in all we feel this is not a fair review, as something is certainly off here, and kindly ask that you stay at other rental homes not managed by us in the future as it seems our practices are not a good fit for your expectations.
