Great seasonal get away for couples and families. The Cabin features two bedrooms plus loft with room for up to 6-8 persons. New Hot Tub just a few steps from master bedroom. Computer, Wi-Fi, Apple TV/ DVD/HBO Now. Also includes all the wood you want to burn in the fireplace or outside firepit.

Wonderful Stay!

Our 3 generations had a wonderful stay. We were right on the lake to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Many lovely touches and thoughtful helps as well as a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of paper products provided. Comfortable beds and furniture, great hot tub, fire wood, and very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again. We loved it!

A Perfect Getaway

My husband and I stayed at this cozy cabin for a short anniversary trip. The cabin was everything we wanted and more. The location was quiet and secluded with great views of the lake, especially at sunset. Doug was more than accomodating when we arrived and gave helpful suggestions for our stay. It was all wonderful! We highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful relaxing lakefront cabin

We really enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin. Doug was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. We especially loved the location and the opportunity to get out on the lake. The hot tub was a treat as well. Lots of birds and even fireflies at night. Thank you, Doug!

Beautiful getaway

Nice cabin with a great view of the lake. I liked the fact that it was in a no wake zone. Great hot tub with a lot of jets. Great place to cast some lines. We would definitely go back!

Nice stay

Stayed here for a mini vacay. Love the shower, beds were cozy, tv was big, and hot tub was hot!!

Waterfront Oasis

The view of the water cannot be beat! Our group spent the days fishing off the dock and taking in the views. The cabin was simple, clean, and comfortable. Perfect place to unwind.

Perfect for a gals retreat

Stayed with 3 high school friends and thoroughly enjoyed the three days and nights we stayed at this cabin. Location was excellent and amenities were as expected! Hot tub was a bonus, and very well-maintained! Good communication with host!

The spot to rent at Indian Lake

The cabin was the perfect location for us. I am from the area and have always wanted a place on the water. Dougs place gave us that little slice of what it would be like to own a property on Indian Lake. The ability to be looking West for beautiful sunsets on the water is spectacular. We will come back.

A Little Slice of Heaven

We had a wonderful and very relaxing time at this cute “rustic” cabin on the lake. The lake views were breathtaking. We loved the swimming, hot tub and roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. Our host was so accommodating. We loved it!

Our favorite retreat

This has become an annual retreat for our family. We love this little cabin sanctuary. Beautiful views from the back windows or sitting in the hot tub. We love watching the sun set over the lake. Can't wait to come back! Doug is a wonderful and responsive host.

Breathtaking views in a cozy cabin!

First, I must say that the communication with the host was perfect. He was gracious and attentive. The cabin had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. We felt right at home. The lake right in the backyard was spectacular. We enjoyed it so much and can’t wait to go back.

Clean, beautiful lake house

This property was a great pick for us! We did not get the email with information about entering the property, but Doug was very responsive by phone and walked us through the entry process. I wouldn't plan to swim off the dock since there was a lot of algae, but the beach a short drive away was a nice swimming spot. Hot tube was nice and clean, and a highlight of our trip!

Exceeded Expectations

Never had a better vacation or get-away residence than this place! An amazing cottage, essentials were well stocked. I literally told my fianceé, the host thought of everything we needed. Well cleaned. Thank you for this experience, Doug!

Great house - except for the bugs

The host was very nice and responsive. He answered my texts within minutes. House has all the amenities we wanted. The ONLY drawback - and this really can't be environmental-friendly corrected - was the amount of spiders (and their webs) and the mosquitos. We would clear the webs in

5 stars all around!!!

This was the second year we’ve stayed at Doug’s place. The cabin is amazing and the hot tub and view of the lake are enough to give 5 stars on their own. Not to mention how above and beyond Doug goes for his guests. His communication is impeccable and won’t leave you hanging if something is wrong. We can’t wait to come back!

Sparkling lights & beautiful winter nights

We loved this cabin with its welcoming warmth & beautiful Christmas lights indoor & out. Truly special with stunning frozen views from the hot tub and crackling fireplace. Doug was a thoughtful, detail-oriented communicator & host. Great way to kick off a happy 2023!

Weekend Getaway in August

Doug was very helpful and available for any issues that we experienced. Location is perfect. Quaint, little cabin. Plenty of games, water activities, and streaming TV options to keep you entertained. My only complaint was the HVAC system. We were fortunate that the temps were in the upper 80s and that it would eventually cool off late into the night. It was uncomfortable the last night, and it would have been intolerable if we had to close the windows.

We will be back! Great Honeymoon!

We had such a wonderful experience at this cozy cabin! When our original plans for our honeymoon were canceled due to the coronavirus, we were able to find this cute, local cabin instead, and booked it just a week or two out! The whole time Doug was fantastic and is genuinely a great guy. He made the house more romantic with rose petals, wine, a candy bouquet and a card. So sweet and thoughtful! He also put extra into cleaning the space from the last guests due to covid-19. He was eager to make sure we had a good time, and knew how to use all the amenities! We ended up using everything! Nightly hot tub soaks, many bon fires, a little row boat ride (with the electric motor), and days and evenings spend outside enjoying the views while reading or playing board games! We went to the nearby island that you can see from the back of the cabin to take a little hike, as well as went to the campgrounds across the lake and took another fun hike there! Doug happened to be nearby during our week there staying with his Dad that lives 2 doors down. He generally left us alone, but did come over and show us how to use his scooter to drive around the neighborhood to fit in with all the golf carts driving around! It was fun! This was not the honeymoon in the Caribbean that we originally planned, but everything about us suited us as a couple perfectly. We had such a good time relaxing and spending quality time with each other doing the things we enjoy the most after some stressful wedding times. I was so enamored with the view and the cute lights, and have way more pictures than I need. Highly recommend staying here! We hope to come back to celebrate some anniversaries here too!

Perfect Cabin getaway

We were worried we’d feel too close to the neighboring houses, but with the way the property is set up, you hardly notice the other houses when you’re out back! There was more space in the main living area than we anticipated and plenty of extra blankets and towels to ensure we were always comfortable. The lake view was gorgeous and the fishing was great! We caught several huge catfish right off the dock! We had no issues and Doug was great about answering questions quickly too
